In her veins, she knew this was the day. On many occasions she had made her way close to this area, but never ventured further. Tsunami had heard stories and although she was headstrong and had a high belief in herself she waited until now to make her appearance. Leaving her brother behind without a word to him of her intentions, she padded along the soft ground at a slow trot.
The sun almost burned her dark fur but with her adrenalin running, she hardly noticed. Eyes wide and intent, all that could be seen now were the high green rocky mounds of the dead volcanoes and the green plume of the trees lining her path. This area was deceitful. Anyone that didn't know what lies just beyond her view would assume this to be a cheerful place. Somewhere that might be nice to raise a healthy family. Tsunami knew better. If the fae that owned these lands was anything like her, oh, did she know better.
The muscles under her skin moved with ease under her glistening coat as she slowed her trot. She wasn't going to intrude on the Queens den area. Tsunami planned on using her patience and waiting for a member of the pack, or better yet, the fae herself to show their face before she continued with her plan. Leaving her brother behind was probably a better choice than she originally thought. Although having his muscle and defensive nature could prove to be a invaluable resource, she didn't want to ruin any of this with his outspokenness. He didn't know this part of her. To him, she was incapable of this kind of planning. He was her protector, he was the dominate dog between them. At least that's what she had him believing.
Stopping suddenly, her eyes scanned the horizon for movement. Nothing. She huffed to herself and moved to a nearby pine to settle herself on the yellow heap of needles that had fallen off the tree over the years. Hiding herself was not an option. She laid partly in the sun, visible to all, and waited.

Small oval paws gracefully danced over the lush terrain in silence. The sun's warm arms caressing her lithe, fawn-hued figure. Something had pulled her from her plan to wreak havoc elsewhere, an invisible force tugging her back home. Perhaps it was the greedy bitch's strong instinct to defend what was hers. It was the first time she had wandered from her lands since the demise of the humans and it was just what she had needed. A breath of fresh air away from the mongrels that she had been seeing day in and day out since her first day as queen. A small smirk slithered along her narrow maw as she relived the day, it was interesting indeed. As she moved over the thick mountain side her naturally alert nature never faltered. Cropped auds stood at attention, twisting at each interruption in the atmosphere, light honey orbs focused on the invisible path that led home.
It was the scent that hit her first, seeping into dual dark pits set within a flesh colored digit. The sly expression held it's grown, the cadence of her steps continuing as they had for most of her travel. No sign that a stranger was upon the lands was visible upon the demoness. The aroma was calculated efficiently determining where the unknown fae was from, who she was, if she were alone, overall size, age. The only question remaining was what she wanted here. As her light frame twisted over a jagged ledge the rottweiler came into view, lounging as if she belonged within the scenery. Erida's orbs narrowed slightly, one side of her maw lifting into an annoyed sneer. How was it that she was the one to find the trespasser? Where were the others and why the hell weren't they doing they're job? The muscles under her sleek pelt tightened her crown raising to it's fullest extent upon an elegant neck. A low growl rolled through her bouncing menacingly off the walls of her chest. The devilish stare seemed capable of boring a hole through the larger female as a serpent's voice slipped through ivory fangs, "Trespassers are not looked upon kindly here, wench."

The sun on her black pelt was almost enough to make her move to the shade. Panting heavily with her head tilted back, she closed her eyes for a moment. She had been waiting for a few hours in the same area. And she was determined to make herself stay longer no matter how often her mind wandered off, wondering to itself if today really was her day. She settled on when and if a member of the pack found her, and when and if she met the Queen, that it would be impossible to turn her away. Her vanity made sure of it.
When the scent hit her nose, flapped ears perked on the top of her head and her eyes widened for a moment before she washed every sign of emotion from her body. Light brown eyes narrowed in on the dead needles in front of her as she concentrated on the sounds that surrounded her. Nothing but the natural sounds of the world hit her ears. But the smell, it was there and getting closer. It was the putrid stench of a fae, one she was always disgusted by. Refusing to move, to show any emotion or fear she stayed in place with her belly on the ground and her back feet sprawled to the right of her. Whoever was coming would approach her from the rear. Now she knew she was ready.
The scent was nearly unbearable now as she forced herself not to release her usual sarcastic gag when around other females. Her eyes unfocused off the ground at her paws and she looked straight ahead of her, appearing relaxed when she heard the soft foot falls coming up behind her. The growl that emerged from the unknown faes lips could have sent shivers down her spine if she wasn't so focused on making sure it didn't happen. When she spoke, Tsunami knew. Her plan had worked out better than she expected. It was the Queen Fae herself.
A wicked smirk formed on her face and slowly turned into a full grin as her eyes moved to her left, her head then following slowly. Making sure to erase the grin before she faced the fae. Although she knew she should stand to show her respect, she couldn't quite force herself to do it yet. She needed a moment to push herself away from her usual ways of thinking of other faes. She took her moment, looking at the Queen with her head slightly bowed, eyes slitted and a devilish smirk on her face.
Then suddenly, she raised her brows and widened her eyes. "Oh my, are these your lands?" Her voice sounded completely innocent. A soft, sweet, childish sound with a hint of boiling hatrid hidden underneith. Being her usual voice, she sometimes found it hard to be taken seriously. Before she could stop herself, she looked the fae up and down before shaking her head, her eyes doing a half roll. "Silly me, and here I was thinking that these lands belonged to a powerful leader."
She quickly cursed herself and flicked her eyes back to the Queen, her facial expression didn't reveal that she knew she made a mistake, she continued to look unimpressed the female, as she rose to her feet. Now avoiding eye contact with her, she raised her head in what she thought was a sophisticated manner with her nose in the air. "I guess I should be on my way then, I must have been mistaken thinking this was Metnal territory." She probably had no idea what she was doing. But she wasn't about to change her suggested opinion. She figured it would only be a sign of weakness now.

A single, tan brow quirked allowing the midday sun to dance along her iris as the bitch before her took her sweet time in responding. The growling ceased as the large fae spoke in turn, auds bouncing forward to take in the innocent facade. Fangs were sheathed and replaced with a sly smirk that slowly slithered along her maw as a first response. From the rocky cropping that she had taken as temporary thrown she lept, landing silently on the earth below. Long, lean limbs spread over the terra, eating most of the distance between the pair of femmoras, her gaze locked upon the black beast. A keen mind began calculating her, dissecting every aspect as she rounded to her side. The distance between them was small, just out of lunging range and Erida would keep it as so. She was well aware of what she lacked, and this was what had kept her on top...acceptance and understanding of such. Sure, she was quite skilled in battle with undeniable speed, but brute strength was not her strong suit. Especially not against those who managed to survive the war. This dark princess was a warrior of the mind not of body. A giggle chimed finally in response, her skull shaking side to side offering an almost apologetic expression, "yes, well it's a shame really. Seems I wasn't blessed with such...," as she paused her gaze washed deliberately over the trespasser's frame before returning to her face once more, "such a masculine build." Her canvas now mimicked that of the rottweiler, an innocent smile and kind eyes replacing the true wench.
Her head canted slightly to the left, "I guess I should be on my way then, I must have been mistaken thinking this was Metnal territory." Silently she watched the female rise, her slow and deliberate steps curling her in to face the stranger face to face. Her graceful movements and the muscles rolling over her shoulders like those of a panther on a stealth hunt. She repeated at almost a whisper, a single side of her maw turning up into a devilish smirk, " 'Metnal territory'?" Already exotically shaped orbs narrowed, locked upon the dark pools of the one questioning her whereabouts. This was obviously a game, Erida had dealt with enough dark souled canine to know when such was. After all, she was the queen of such play and could sense it without taking much time. This was the type that she welcomed upon her lands. Most authorities would have taken the remarks personally, would have attacked or ran the intruder off. But others did not understand the capabilities of such creatures. Manipulative, determined, strong, blood thirsty....those outcast from most packs were welcomed and sought after here. The first she was without a doubt, the third quite possible. The others could be worked with if she did not posses such skill. "And what would such a lady wish of such disgustingly disturbing creatures such as the Metnal?" she quipped in her own dark humor, yet the curiously stern canvas never faltered.

With her nose still in the air, she opened her eyes partly and appeared to do everything half arsed as she watched the Fae move around her body. Her mind flicked to her bodyguard, her brother. She was finding this extremely easy, dealing with the Queen. She had always hid behind her powerful, foolish brother. This was the first time that she could really remember being out on her own in front of another dog that she had deliberately caused a confrontation with.
When the Queen insulted her body make, Tsunami suddenly felt as if she belonged. She knew this game so well that she could almost hear what the fae would say next in her head. Tsunami lowered her head and moved it towards the Queen, took her whole form in and swallowed as if she had just tasted something horribly disgusting before she spoke again, asking what Tsunami wanted with the Metnal pack.
She giggled a little to herself before clearing her throat and regaining her composure. "I'm glad you agree on what the world thinks of you, dear Queen." She said, revealing that she knew exactly who the Fae in front of her was. Although she supposed that the Queen already knew. Turning to face her now, she whispered towards the Queen as if someone were around to listen, looking directly in her eyes. "But I think it's a well known fact that most all dogs are vile creatures..." she raised her voice and tilted her head proudly before finishing her statement, "...Don't believe your little pack is any more disgusting than the next."
Now, she moved her paws as daintily as she could, rounding the Queen herself. Moving a little closer to her with her eyes slitted lazily and a small smile on her face, taking the Queen in once again before she settled herself to the faes side and scoffed at her. "Which is why you desparatly could use someone of my standards if you wish to separate yourself." Tsunami couldn't bring herself to ask the female for permission to join her ranks. So she continued to dance around the suggestion that she should join up with the demented pack.

A sly smirk tugged at the corners of her mouth, cropped radars twisting to catch every syllable as the bitch spoke once more. The very voice offered was icy enough to withstand the heat of the midday sun beating mercilessly upon the vibrant land as the dark queen replied, "No, wanderer, perhaps we are not any more disgusting but we are certainly much more wise. After all, none other could have accomplished what we have in our short history." Although Erida often grew tired of the members of the pack, she was quite fond of them as a whole. A deceitful, hateful, selfish, power hunger bitch she was, yet she would stand for them. Unless...it meant her own skin of course. Here it was not an issue. This over sized priss was not one to desire to cause such a physical altercation. This much the fawn hued fae was certain. If this meeting were meant to lead to fang and claw such an act would have already surfaced.
The smirk seemingly permanently etched upon her face grew as the suggestion was made, "Which is why you desperately could use someone of my standards if you wish to separate yourself." It was now making perfect sense. This wench wanted to join their ranks, yet couldn't bring herself to ask. She had the need to feel like she was desired. A chuckle chimed at the thought, unable to be contained. Erida...need her? What a ludicrous assumption. The demoness knew damn well that they were separated quite a margin from the others. Yet adding even more seasoned canine to the group was never a negative move. This female had the build to be an asset in battle if the need should arise, and she obviously knew her way around a playing field. Yet, she was missing one key aspect mandatory to wander these lands and live and that was submission. Such a thing could be forced, yet true loyalty was what the doberman sought from all who resided within her lands. A brow quirked as if she didn't believe the words that were given, "And what, wanderer, makes you believe you would be such an asset? You have shown me nothing but the opposite," she hissed, pronouncing each letter as if to exaggerate her point. It was a lie. She had shown she was worthy of mind, and most likely was of body as well. Erida wanted to know more. Who was this bitch and was she an attempt to infiltrate upon her llands?

Even with Tsunamis ego pulling her to continue to play the sly games of dominance, she started to realize that the demonic queen wasn't as impressed with Tsunami as she was with herself. As hard as it was for her to admit defeat to herself, she wasn't stupid. If she wanted this to be her chance, she would need to put herself far lower than the female that stood before her. '...for now at least...' she thought to herself as she lowered her head slightly and looked away from the fae.
Mustering all her strength as the butterflies in the pit of her stomach continued pulling her back from the charade she was planning on playing, she glanced back towards Erida, head still lowered and sighed through her nose while she quickly thought of a reply. Her brother, Typhoon, then bounced in her head and her eyes widened as she had her answer. "Perhaps it's not so much what I have to offer personally. But... I do have my own follower of sorts. My brother...", she hissed his name with so much spite that she couldn't contain it as well as she had intended to do. "... Typhoon ... He... Well, he is a foolish soul. Much larger than myself with the ability to pull three times the workload of a typical dog and fight like a demon.". She finished her last statement quickly, nearly running the words together.
Although she would insult her brother in an instant when he wasn't around and accuse him of being foolish and stupid, she knew this really wasn't the case. He was a born protector and assumed the best in everyone. This didn't make her respect him at all though. It made her loathe him and use him daily. Tsunami now lifted her head to face the fae and gave her that lazy look once again, continuing. "Although there is a catch. He will willingly do anything you ask him. As long as he believes it's for the good of the entire population on the island. He doesn't know the true reasonings behind your extermination.", she sneered, spitting out her last words with amused venom. "If he knew how much he has been played his entire life, his entire world would flip upside down and be destroyed." She giggled slightly as she finished her words, obviously enjoying finally letting her true self out to someone.
And that's when it hit her, the butterflies pulling at her ego were gone and she was actually enjoying the company of this female. She wasn't dishonest about what she truly was like most females. Pretending that while in the presence of another that they were equal. What she enjoyed more than anything was downgrading other faes. And apparently so did the queen, with her at least. Still in a sitting position, she straightened her back and puffed her chest out while gazing slyly at Erida, smiling. A true smile. "So, what say you, your highness? May I follow your leadership?"

[bg=000000][atrb=width,475,true][atrb=background,http://i50.tinypic.com/vskmdv.jpg] It had seemed almost as if a weight had been lifted suddenly between the females as the newcomer began to speak once more. form pushed back upon her haunches relaxing now that the games had passed. Her tall locked upon the explanation being offered, all hostility that may have been presented upon her features now fading. She had listened silently, listening to her suggestion. A long pause was held as the completed and also dropped to the earth. The queen's gaze never left the other female's as she turned the words over and over again. The wheels were churning, and the intense look washing over her chiseled appearance would have made such obvious. After a long wait she finally spoke, "You are mistaken," a single brow raising, "you have much to offer." A sigh forced a cloud of condensation from her nostrils as if dreading what she was going to say. It was not often praise was offered to another and it seemed especially difficult when it was honest. The ever present smirk faded, a serious expression replacing it now, "not many could play the mind field as you do, including most of these lands. One thing that most packs and individuals do not understand is that the power of mind is much stronger than any other muscle another may possess." Her words faded off into the light breeze picking up over the mountainous region as she considered the brother, the sly grin playing once more. "My dear, it seems your brother would be quite an asset to as well. Yet, with or without him, it would be an honor for you to join our army. You are just they type that I seek." With that she rose once again taking a single stride closer to the black and tan hued , "bring him to me."

Lumbering along the stale trail of his sister with his dark eyes set intently on the horizon in front of him he wondered what in the world Tsunami was doing this far away from their home. It wasn't like her at all to wander off. In fact, he couldn't remember a time that she had even moved far enough away from the shallow cave to lose sight of it's entrance. Assuming the worst, he started following her trail. But the further he got, the less he assumed she was in danger. Something was up, though. She had made a straight line towards this area. She had known exactly where she was going. And this might have scared him more.
His trot was heavy and careless, his muscles bouncing, unused. Suddenly, when he caught a fresh scent of his sister, he stopped. His nose twitched as he tried to figure out what was odd with this scent. He quickly realized that Tsunami was in the presence of another female, and with that, he continued his trot in their direction, ears erect and eyes piercing the ground before him, searching.
As the two dogs came into view, his eyes focused on Tsunami. She knew he was coming, her posture suggested so. She was now standing looking in his direction in front of a large fawn Doberman, both appearing at ease. "Tsunami." His voice boomed out over the land in front of him, saying her name not only as a greeting but a question aswell. She needed to explain things to him.
Tsunami had caught his scent mere moments after Erida finished speaking. She rose from her posture quickly and took a few short strides away from her before stopping. This isn't how she wanted it to happen. She wanted to return to their home and tell him the news. She glanced back at Erida."It appears I won't need to.", she hissed. Now that Erida knew somewhat about her games, and understood them aswell, she was going to give her a show, hoping that she might play along for the time being at least.
When Typhoon came into view and spoke her name, Tsunamis entire body language changed. She relaxed and her docked tail shook wildly, her tongue lolling out as she pranced towards her brother. The idea of Tsunami being innocent and puppylike is what made Typhoon fend for her so harshly. A smile broke out and creased her brothers face as he trotted the rest of the distance to meet her."I have good news, Ty. We have been offered positions in a pack! The very same pack run by the one who had the plan to save us all, remember?", she exclaimed, her eyes wide and apparently full of ignorant joy.
Typhoons smile increased as his sister danced around him, ecstatic of her find. He couldn't say no to her now, as happy as she was. He glanced up at the Doberman, nodding in her direction before making his way closer to her, Tsunami in tow. "Hello, ma'am. Is it true, then?" He bowed his head deeply to her as a sign of respect for the leader while Tsunamis face stared at the back of his head spitefully, rolling her eyes.

[bg=000000][atrb=width,475,true][atrb=background,http://i50.tinypic.com/vskmdv.jpg] Her attentions casually diverted onto the approaching male, brows stitching together as she examined his frame as it drifted closer to the pair of faes. A single aud twisted upon her counterpart as she confirmed that it was indeed the brute that they had been discussing previously. The devilish expression wiped clear from view being painted over with a soft and gentle facade. It was something the demoness so easily turned on and off without even a mere thought of which way to twist her features. It was so natural for her. Lean limbs stood their ground as the siblings did the typical family reunite, typical from what she's seen others do around her. Only now did she take note of the other bitch's name as it were spoken by the beast, "Tsunami" he had called her.
The banter quickly ended as the large dog approached, so willingly dipping his broad skull to the dark queen. Her moist nose lowered, gently tapping under his chin to urge him to raise himself. A humble empress would never expect such from a warrior as himself. And the game was beginning. A gentle smile spread along her maw before a voice rivaling the coo of a dove was given, "My dear, Typhoon, I have heard so many pleasant things about you. What a kind soul you are, yet brave enough to be a warrior for the betterment of our kind." Her crown tilted slightly, pausing as her amber gaze washed over his muscular frame. "I would be a fool not to allow myself to be honored with your presence." Her eyes now rose to the female standing near his flanks, "And it is not any kind of life for you to have to be looking out for your helpless sister every moment. A pack can help protect her." She now dropped her eyes to lock upon his. Exactly how gullible was this male?

With his head still lowered, a thousand thoughts flicked through his mind as to how this might all play out in the end. His sister could be devastatingly wrong about the ones whom roamed these lands. But he fought the thoughts away, remembering that this lady before him had helped save them and all of their kind. Someone with that much compassion for their own species couldn't -
His thoughts stopped short as he felt the faes nose press against his chin to raise his massive head to meet hers. It had been so long since he had been touched by a female other than his sister. Even this slight bump of her nose sent his heart into the pit of his stomach for a moment as he swallowed nothing, trying to regain himself. He shifted his weight slightly as he listened to her speak.
A creased smile slowly formed on his face and it grew until he let out a lighthearted heavy chuckle. "Well, I would be more than honoured to join your ranks, and I assume the same could be said for Tsunami seeing how excited she is over the whole idea." He lowered his head slightly and whispered jokingly to the fae, eyes darting and loud enough for Tsunami to overhear, "... And Tsunami can be quite the handful for one brute alone to tackle.". He turned is head back to Tsunami and winked at her, grinning."Is there anything I should know before we make this official, Alpha?", he finished, his eyes meeting hers as head on as hers met his now, the joking expression gone from his face just as easliy as it had came.
Tsunami wrinkled her nose at her brother before letting out a sarcastic "Ha. Ha.", then rolling her eyes once again and turning her head from both the canines as Typhoon continued speaking to the Queen. 'That's right, Ty. Play about. You're my ticket in.', she thought to herself. She imagined this could work out better than she expected. With Typhoons help, she could probably get away with not doing any work at all anymore. And if not, his body make and her wits might make it easy to be sure no one opens their mouths about her laziness.
WC * 376 OOC * Hey, not only will losing his sister to the pack make him a little spiteful... but also being fooled into crushin' on something that isn't even real..? Oh, the wonderful ways of the heart XD

The soft smile sprawled along her face tightened slightly as the typical male reactions took a hold of the brute without any chance of a fight against it. One receptor flickered as his heart paused with her touch before the moist thudding began once more. A ruby muscle slipped over her fangs as the wet throb within his chest cavity seemed to cause a new desire to burn through her veins. Being that this particular rottweiler had ignited the flame burning painfully within her it were obvious that this was not for blood, yet for the new found game that the skipped heart beat set into motion. He was her new toy.
A calm, serene appearance took over her features as his masculine crown was lifted, mentally icing down the inferno within herself. She was sure to pay close attention to his words, her gaze only slipping away as his did toward the other fae. A light giggle chimed from the queen at his joking comment, offering a couple of shifts of the short tail carried behind her. "Pawful or not, your darling sister is already cherished upon these lands as family. She has been quite a delight to have around and has only been here a short time.: If it weren't for his direct presence she would be gagging on her own words at how sweet and lovable they had sounded to herself.
As their gaze met once more she shyly tucked her chin in closer to her tan painted chest offering a shy, side long glance. Her oculars drifted over the mountainside as he questioned if there were any details that he should be aware of before joining her. Her sides rose and fell slowly in a gentle sigh a worry ravaging her canvas as she allowed sight of her amber pools once more. "Well, Typhoon, the only real requirements that we have here are loyalty to your kind, and that we treat each other as family would. Each does assist around the lands with hunting, caring for the young, training the new warriors, and of course guarding the lands."
|
[/b] A circle began to form around his muscular frame, her lean bodice gently rubbing against him as she wrapped toward the other side. Although her steps were cautious with mock fear her form still managed to hold the utmost grace. "We do have to watch out for the Elysian dogs. They did not believe the disaster that was planned for our kind. It's terrible really... Her aerodynamic skull gently slid under his chin affectionately as if she were seeking his comfort, "they had been brainwashed for far too long by the humans to understand. They now wish us all dead. Peace has not been an option for them." A whispered whine of inner agony pierced the atmosphere as the actress considered how those mangy mutts would be feeling about their beloved slave masters.

As she spoke, Typhoon scanned the leaders body, watching the muscles move under her skin as she moved her weight around. Realizing his daze, he quickly mentally shook the pleasant thoughts out of his head as a broad smile creased his face when she spoke of his sister. When he heard the shuffle behind him, the receptors on the cap of his head followed the sound, his bulky crown lazily turning to catch up in time to see Tsunami prancing off in the opposite direction he had originally entered from, nose to ground. The very first thought to cross his brain was to trot off after her, but he decided to let her go. She had enough sense to find help now within her own pack if she needed it.
He averted his attention from his kin and back towards the fae in front of him as she stepped closer to his body. His muscles tensed as she ran her figure along his and he was barely able to pay attention to what she was saying, her words lost in the background of his mind. On all other occasions he was able to control his cerebrum, but in the presence of this beautiful, innocent female, other organs began to control his every muscle.
Her sorrowful story of brainwashed canines touched his heart and he jumped to the conclusion that his fae needed his protection as much as his sister did. Being a true protector, these were the kinds of things he was attracted to in the end. The maiden slipped her crown under his mandible for comfort as she spoke emotionally of the other pack on the lands. Instinctively, he flexed the muscles in this chest and lowered his skull to press her slightly into tendons. Quickly realizing what he was doing, he cleared his throat and stepped back, eyes darting.

[/font] "Oh... Oh.. Well, I'm sure they can be controlled. Have you tried speaking to them? The last thing these lands need is a war over a misunderstanding."[/b][/font] He had already been through one war here. Although it was quick and clean, it left his heart shattered and vulnerable. It was not something that he enjoyed doing. But he would still tell anyone in a moment that he would do it again if it meant the protection of his family."No matter. These are things that we can draw attention to when the time arises."[/b] He didn't feel a need to put any more burden on this female. A smile creased his face again, able to focus now, his testosterone having the chance to lower itself. "I would be more than happy to offer myself to you.", he finished. Then coyly thought ' ..in more ways than one...' as a smirk slowly found its way across his maw and he once again took the female in.[/font][/size][/center] WC\\469 OOC\\Woo sexism! lulz. [bg=000000][atrb=width,475,true][atrb=background,http://i50.tinypic.com/vskmdv.jpg] The tension rippling through the male's body was like some kind of drug to the demoness, it was what she strived towards...what she loved. Truly the only thing she loved other than herself. A soft sigh was released after the mock burden was released, her story successfully toying with his emotions. A sly smirk traced her lips as the rottweiler pulled her tenderly toward his broad chest. At an attempt at keeping her canvas hidden from view she gently nuzzled deeper into his short pelt. And almost as quickly as the moment came it left. Large, cropped auds fell against the queen's skull when the contact between the pair ceased. Tan hued brows stitched together in curious fashion, honey orbs rounding in a mixture of surprise and embarrassment; neither of which was an honest emotion.
Her rear slowly lowered upon the greenery, angling her maw away from the brute in her disconcerted state. If it were possible for the beauty to blush she would have commanded her skin to flush pink to simply add to the effect. After a brief moment of listening to him blabber on about not needing war again, talking it out, and some other pathetic possibilities her gaze slipped into a side long stare, lips tightened nearly into a purse. "I sure do hope we're ready if they decide to strike. They're not mentally stable in general, who knows if they would warn first." Only now did she twist her frame around to view him face to face again, her rear never leaving the ground, "Though I have tried to make sure my family is ready for such circumstances."
Her receptors perked as he offered the deceptive fae his loyalty, her rear soon to follow. A sweet smile danced merrily across her maw in obvious approval of his offering. A sweet voice now chiming crisply through the atmosphere, the sob story now completely erased from the conversation for the moment, "I am so pleased to have one of your skill to assist me. It gets quite difficult to take care of the pack alone. With your help my fears will be quieted for once." With that lengthy limbs pranced forward into a smooth trot, her path running perpendicular to the brute. She slowed as she passed him throwing a quick gaze over her shoulder before pausing completely. She had no intentions of leaving his side just yet, simply testing the waters. The game of cat and mouse she so frequently enjoyed was now in full bloom.

Soon after the fae showed an all too obvious display of embarrassment when he stepped back from her, he wondered momentarily if perhaps he cared too much for others too soon. He had, in fact, only met the lass and his heart had already sunk to the bottom of his chest upon seeing her reaction to his movement away from her. Perhaps, he thought, one could not control their nature. And his nature was to devote his entire self to help a stranger. He swallowed, forcing his heart to rise back to where it belonged.
She seemed truly worried about what might happen to her pack. The worry quickly passed to the brute as the frantically scanned his cerebrum for a possible answer to all her troubles. His massive skull facing the ground, searching the short grasses in front of him for his answer, only to come to dead ends and doors he refused to open.
Her now cheery voice invaded his neurons and forced all his current worries into submission. His mind felt as if it had let out a deep sigh of relief, happy to put off the concern for now, until he had a better idea of the situation. He listened to her words intently, his lobes perking slightly and pushing forward. A deep grateful grin stretched his maw to it's boundaries. Whether she knew it or not, she was giving him rather transcendent compliments. Being needed was something he would strive for on a daily basis.
His grin quickly faded and was replaced with a confused expression as she merely rose and trotted away from him. He had no idea what he was supposed to do next, where he was supposed to go, so he rose and turned to call out to her. An odd squeak that he had planned on being the beginning of a question released itself from his lips when his eyes met hers, she had stopped. Ears seemed to fold down even more, flat against his cranium, then rise back up, his glance leaving hers for a split second. Should he follow? Tossing the idea back and forth ended as soon as it had started, his decision made. She wasn't peering back at him for no reason. He lifted himself from the ground, appearing less than effortless, and stretched his back legs out from under him. A smirk formed and his dark eyes seemed to sparkle mischievously, then he trotted towards her, a realization suddenly crossing his mind. "You know, my dear... I don't even know your name."
