The confusion of her sudden departure from their close contact was felt through the atmosphere surrounding the small area of green painted mountain that the pair stood upon. An awkward type of tension thickened the air as she could almost feel him considering what he should do in response to her light footed trot that unexpectedly blew her across the terrain a short distance. Ears pricked forward as the attempted speech from the brute formed into nothing more than an abruptly halted thought. The gentle smile that had found itself etched upon her canvas frequently within his presence appeared once more offering the demoness a soft, angelic facade. She simply watched patiently as the rottweiler gained his composure once more, her crown tilting fractionally.
The dark queen assumed that he had finally decided to follow by the smooth upward movement. The almost playful expression that had engulfed his features now mirrored within her own, her attentions slowly turning back to the raging waters crashing loudly against the mountain's bare north wall. Her oculars stayed focused upon his until the angle of her skull would no longer allow for it. A single aud pirouetted backward as his light footfalls were heard approaching. A short tail shifted quickly as a silent approval of his decision to follow her lead.
As he neared he had finally requested her name, a giggle chimed as first response. It may seem a friendly or even slightly shy gesture, when in reality she was mocking the idea of needing to know her name. As if it really mattered what her calling was. Would this be a question to ask Lucifer if he climbed from the pit of the volcano they now stood upon? Or maybe a better question would be, could the devil pull off such acting skills as herself? A feminine tiara cocked to the side, chin pulling toward her chest to allow a better side view of the beast as she kindly offered a reply, "Erida is what I am known as. You may call me whatever you wish though." With a honey hued gaze stuck tightly upon him gravity was allowed it's moment to shine, lowering her lean haunches to the earth once more. A half smile was tossed toward the mascu before almond shaped pools washed over his frame admiringly. They took a quick pause upon his canvas before returning to the bright, blue ocean rampaging below. Tan brows furrowed casting shadows upon her eyes and cheeks, in apparent thought. Both receptors now brought themselves forward again as she fixated her focus upon the waves. He had to be the one to pry, he had to be the one in control in order for her to have the upper paw.

He had barely been in the land for more than a couple hours and already this lady had opened up to him completely about all her fears and worries. He couldn't help but think that perhaps she hadn't had anyone to open up to before. And if that were the case, what could be said about the other members of this pack? Were they untrustworthy, or did she just not want to burden them with all the possibilities this group faced in their future?
He had nearly forgotten that she was there in front of him until her light giggle brought him back to life, and he returned it with a broad smile, then a chuckle as he heavily walked closer to her. It appeared that his own weight was his only weakness. Typhoon came off slow and lumbering. Although this was only half true. He was quite faster than anyone could give him credit for but what he lacked in speed, he made up for in pure brute strength.
Now standing at her side, he followed her gaze out towards the sea as his rear lowered to the ground."Erida. It almost doesn't seem to suit you. You appear to me like you need a lighter, more delicate name, Princess.". As he finished his last word he turned his skull in her direction with a joking smile etched upon his face. But it quickly disappeared when he focused on her. She seemed in deep worrisome thought once again, and this worried Typhoon. With his brows now furrowed and his lobes pressed against his head, he moved his front a step towards her, trying to interrupt her gaze towards the ocean with his own face. His mind automatically jumped to the conclusion that he had offended her somehow, and he was determined to make it better. "Princess does suit you, your highness. After all, all the fairy tales describe the princess as being as beautiful as yourself, no?" A smirk returned to his face, hoping to lighten her mood before it twisted into a faked pout as he lowered his head and his eyes strained to reach hers."Or is there something else bothering you?

A flattered smile teased her slender maw as the male had decided her name did not suit her well. Perhaps he was correct in his assumption. Maybe something a little more fierce would be suitable she thought. Although she would then lose the surprise she aimed for so frequently, as was with his situation. Her gaze followed his physical request for attention, shifting swiftly to his masculine features that urged closer. The smile now flickered across pools of honey, large auds falling backward in pretend embarrassment as he continued to lavish her with his words. She would not admit it aloud, but she knew he was right. She was just as beautiful as any other princess, if not more so. And quite a bit more powerful and smart. She was sure of this as much as she was sure of herself.
Before she could respond the assumption that she was upset with his comments of her name was made obvious as he asked, "Or is there something else bothering you?" The resting receptors shot forward to their full position in surprised, wrinkles etching themselves along her brow in a curious fashion. "Bothering me?" The pursed lips that had formed in questioning smoothed into a reassuring smile, her neck craning to bring her nose closer to his features. "I would not worry, love. You nor your words have been a bother at all. You're quite charming really," she confirmed as one lean forelimb stretched closer, twisting her front half to close the distance just a bit more. The fae's pupils slipped to the corners of her eyes, features still offering him her attention. Her oculars narrowed slightly as if considering for a short moment before returning with an attempt to lock upon his. "I was actually thinking it quite odd that I had offered you so much information being so new to us." Her brows furrowed in a thoughtful manner as the doberman carefully selected her words, "I have yet to share my worries with any other of the pack and yet was so comfortable offering it to you." The smile crept back to her canvas, as yet another scoot was taken closer. The movement was well masked as unintentional, yet Erida knew every slightest shift in posture, every change in tempo her voice had made, and every twist of her features. "I do feel much better with it off of my chest, maybe you were what I needed here."
