Just as soon as he was able, Cursico yanked his head out from the floor, one of his ears falling limply over his right eye. With a dazed flick of his head, his ear popped back into place. With the way things are going, it's this one that's going to kill me, not the coyote. I should start thinking of my last words, I do want them to be good afterall. The fur on his scruff rustled at being called funny when he hadn't tried for any comedy. Sure he'd laughed when the hybrid had gotten stuck in the window, but he still felt bitter about it being turned back on him; afterall, it wasn't like he'd got stuck in a stationary window. His back leg throbbed dully where the table had hit- and he sure as hell hoped the thing wasn't snapped, but the way his luck was going, it was definitely worrying. Cursico laid his ears back, seeing what was coming. Big, pink and wet, this just wasn't his day. Getting licked wasn't so bad for him, he could still remember Dan cleaning him after he'd whacked into a bee hive... a slightly different situation, but the principle was the same. I've never met an insane person before. The fox fluffed up, and wiped his paw over his face, removing most of the spit that was absorbing into his thin fore-head fur. "I think I'm getting the dull deal here." He drawled lazily, "You're finding me funny, but I'm not in the least amused." Then changing his tone into one that was laced in accusation, Cursico added on with emphasis "You're a bad dog, you hurt my leg."

Kiyoko was very pleased with herself, able to show these doggies a bit of the loving side of her. Something that since she joined the Metnal, was highly looked down upon within the pack. She kept trying, though. Nearly on a daily basis. A lot of the doggies in Metnal were hurt by the humans and Kiyoko automatically assumed that they needed her help for them to pull through the pain the humans had caused them. Just as these doggies before her might need Kiyoko to forget about their own pains for a moment.
With her tongue lolling out and her head tilting back towards Navea again, she smiled at her widelyy before moving her body in the larger canines direction. She slowly padded towards Navea before falling on the wooden floor in front of the hybrid, stomach exposed. Kiyoko kicked her legs wildly as she tried to swing one of her front paws to playfully whack the hybrid on the face. When the pads of her foot finally touched Naevas face, almost simultaneously, she heard the words.
Kiyoko had been called a bad dog before. Nearly every time without cause, and every time she automatically assumed she had, in fact, done something wrong. Her paw was frozen on Naevas lips as a pout swept across her face and tears welled in her eyes. Kiyoko let her paw fall limply to the floor with a loud thud as she slowly moved her head to face the smaller doggie who had just broken her heart, showing him the pain that now filled her expressions that quickly turned to guilt as she focused on the poor little creature. She must have played too roughly for the little puppy. And now, she didn't want to make the same mistake with the bigger doggie.
Kiyoko rose to her feet, tail between her legs, head down. She moved her weight towards the door of the hut, appearing heavy. When she reached the entryway, she peered back at the two friends with the pitiful guilt ridden face she had given the smaller puppy previously as her apology before turning again and trudging out the door.

Her slender maw fell agape as the grin became too heavy to hold upon the closed jaws, tongue lolling out of the side as the larger female approached. Navea's head cocked quickly to the side, her large auditories pushed forward as far as they could possibly reach upon her skull. Wrinkles formed along her forehead above eyes rounded in anticipation of some play. Several growls rolled over themselves and out into the dank room as large paws attempted to bat her face. A mock snarl painted her features, the creases in her maw flashing sharp fangs. Her crown shifted side to side, the angle changing ever so slightly with each nasally growl that escaped her. Fangs grasped the paw that finally dared touch her ever so gently, and then it happened. Both females pauses, Navea's gaze lifting to seek out the fox who had just said such a horrible thing to her new friend. The look of astonishment flooded her canvas as she watched the nasty little critter.
A soft whine was released as the large dog rolled away from their game, radars falling back against her skull as she watched sadly. Several steps were taken after the heart broken pooch, her own tail hanging limply between pointy hocks. All play had now left the building. As the rear of Kiyoko passed the door frame a sharpened sense engulfed the lithe hybrid. Her gaze snapped toward the fox, a single side of her maw lifting in disapproval. "What a horrid creature you are!" she offered in one loud bark. Her cranium now lowered to match the level of her shoulders, slow, calculating steps drawing her nearer the fuzzy dog. How dare he ruin her fun? How dare he be so sour? She would teach him a lesson. A menacing snarl bubbled in the femme's throat, pushed through exposed fangs as she stalked the creature now. "You will be nice and apologize to my friend," the devilish threat apparent under the words. Or else should have come next...or else what? Or else you will become a snack was most likely what was on her mind from the huntress position she held.

Cursico actually managed to feel bad for what he said for all of five seconds, before a pang ran up his leg, reminding him that the playful behemoth had hurt him beyond words. With grim determination, he settled all four legs on the floor, clenching his jaw shut against voicing the shooting spasms wrecking his torn muscles. The bone wasn't broken- otherwise the leg would have collapsed completely, but it still took alot of willpower for him to remain standing. For a wild animal, a lone wild animal, such an injury could be the death of him. And why shouldn't he let the big white dog know that? Was it supposed to be all smiles and cheers, to keep her in a fantasy world where maturity was just the thing of boredom? His stone heart hardened itself, he wasn't going to waste his pity where it wasn't needed. The more pain a person felt, the easier they could handle the future, pain was a relative and fickle thing, but it was a certainty in life. Even the own picture of his leg was proof of that. It would put something like a who had never known pain, screaming and yowling to the skies for its mother. It would either kill him, cripple him, or make him stronger. Sound from the hybrid turned his red head. At her insults he only scoffed, picking on the little one again, willing to turn tooth when only words were needed. Typical, pack animals were disgusting, they made creatures like him outcasts and never saw their own faults. The fox knew immediately what nice small escape route he had within his reach. And maybe, if he could annoy the bitch enough to draw it in... then maybe he wouldn't be the only one to leave bloodied and injured. That sly grin that belonged to foxes crept along his thin muzzle. Apologising was out of the question in the first place, but apologising under threat was an impossibility. His stubborn and proud nature refused to even consider such depravity. The big white one would cheer up easily, and continue just like before, but he had at least a month to go before his torn muscles realigned and grew back strong- assuming that his tendons hadn't also been torn by contact with the table, then he would be like Bold from Fathering Wood, a fox in its prime cruelly dragged down to an early death by fate. "Rot in hell bitch." He snapped in his best voice for provoking, the insolent tone with its growling base. Cursico didn't wait around to see if it had worked, instead he plunged down into the hole his head had previously made. A few strands of thick fur caught on the splintered hole, but otherwise his slender body slid through with all the ease of a snake over glass. No fox fought 'fairly' when faced with someone over five times their size, it was damn near suicidal with his leg in such a state and his jaws not nearly powerful enough to crush a coyotes wind-pipe. He would have to be more tactical, these thoughts whirred around his morbid brain while he thumped onto the concrete basement beneath the floorboards of the strange cave. Either the fool would try to shove her head down the hole he'd gone through, try smashing through after him, or not be a fool and run outside to creep through one of the few windows imbedded into the floor. Any of those ways worked for the cunning red shape as it limped randomly across the floor, waiting for Navea's response to his actions- assuming that is that the hybrid didn't just go to comfort the big white dog and leave him well alone to rest and recouperate.

[bg=666666][atrb=width,400,true][atrb=background,http://i450.photobucket.com/albums/qq227/Pideaux/IMGS/1bg.jpg]
She had defiantly forgotten about the light conversations that had taken place between the three upon her first arrival. And at the moment, unless she really thought about it, she had already forgotten about the 'bad dog' incident that made her leave the hut. Now, she was slowly wandering around outside the homestead browsing through the forgotten remains of a life she no longer belonged to. Rotting sacks of grains, water barrels left forgotten, farming equipment rusting in the open air. A few small pens that were meant to hold a variety of birds and other small animals close to home and away from predators.
She had nearly even forgotten about the two personalities she had left moments before before she heard the yells and cursing coming from the small abandoned hut. Kiyokos ears perked up when she realized that what she still assumed was a small puppy was the one that had let out the insulting words that were too grown up for his little mouth. A scowl formed across her face as she turned sharply and walked with meaning back in the direction she had came from.
Being a Den Mother Apprentice, even if it was through the Metnal pack, her motherly intuition took over. Every previous sign of her childish behaviors were lost and a new dog was born, even if only for a few moments. She barged into the home yet again, searched the small abode for any sign of the small puppy whom had learned it was okay to be so rude. Kiyokos eyes narrowed on the hole near the back of the hut, with a scowl still wiped across her face she walked loudly towards it before shooting a glance at Navea and smiling at her. She had done nothing wrong, so Kiyoko felt no need to make her feel uncomfortable. "Hello again! Would you do me a big most biggest favour? I have got to, need to, want to teach this wittle bitty puppy a lesson for having such a poo mouth! Could you go outside and make sure he does not try to run away unpunished?" And without waiting for a reply, Kiyoko quickly turned back towards the hole and raised on her back feet for a moment before throwing all her weight down with her front paws, making the hole bigger. She continued to do this until she had widened it large enough for her head to go through.
Her head shot through the hole with a swoosh sound as she peered into the darkness, eyes wide and innocent looking once again. That is, until she caught sight of the small fox. Her brows came together and her lips pursed before she spoke. "Oh, no no no. Puppies do not speak in that manner to their elders. Oh my, whoever had raised you to think that is okay is a very very bad doggie! Now you come out here this minute, do not make miss Kiyoko come in there after you, sir!"
Not usual for Kiyoko, she already had a plan set in her head. She remembered the pens outside the huts. Remembered that they were meant to keep small predators out. And made the perfect assumption in her head that it would do just fine for keeping them in as well. A time out was surely what this puppy needed to get him started on the right track.

Oh how exciting. Before the thought of lunging down the hole after the fox completely crossed her mind the heavy pawfalls of the larger fae echoed across the room. Two over-sized auds swiveled to acknowledge her first, swiftly followed by the hybrid's gaze. A smile tugged at her maw, urgently attempting to stretched however she held back the wicked excitement that bubbled within her. She now had an accomplice whether the white dog knew it or not. A thin whip cord lashed the air in what could be assumed to be a greeting, however truth be told it was the anticipation of what was to come. Her crown bobbed once before nearly dancing out of the door in search for any possible escape route. Kiyoko's voice began to boom toward the vulpine just as Navea slipped through the door frame causing a snicker to slip from between clenched enamels.
She easily knew the scent that the male had carried, it was the aroma that had originally led her here to this very hut. Upon the porch she stood for a mere moment, dark nasals expanding and pulling in the surrounding atmosphere. Though he was surely still within the bug and rodent infested basement his unique scent would travel through every crevice leading to him, surely she would search for where it was the strongest. Dainty paws lifted and dropped in a prancing motion, pulling her around the corner of the home. She made a trail halfway around the perimeter before stopping abruptly. A moist digit pressed against the side of the structure taking a deep breath in, allowing it to escape in the form of a snort mentally confirming what she originally thought. A demonic grin splayed across her face as her chest dropped slowly to the ground, her rear shortly following. As her frame lowered it seemed like a slow motion playback at some sports game. Large receptors stood, locking along with her other senses upon the place where the fox was just behind the wall, it seemed as if the leggy female had x-ray vision as she lay watching the invisible being.

Cursico idly listened to the sound of the big white one having... what could only be described as a sudden change of heart. He was sure he'd already ascertained he was older than her... but correcting the behemoth would be a waste of time, he was officially the 'bad guy'. His fur fluffed up at that flattering thought. Important enough to waste time on, even when he wasn't trying to steal food. That hadn't happened since... well, since he was a pup, ironic how he had attention now that the foolish canines had gotten it into their head he was very young. Happily flicking his tail behind him, and ignoring the words raining down on him along with a cloud of dust. He didn't want to hear himself be called something as degrading as a dog, and neither did he care about his mother who had bitten him numerous times while chasing him away from the only place he'd ever known and loved. Instead he readjusted his plans to fit two dogs in, or more like to deal with one while getting away from the other. The decomposing boxes of human material caught his interest. Straining his long ears, he heard pawprints outside the cruelly thin walls matching his. What a strange cave it was, but if there was one thing he knew about caves, it was that they could cave-in. Trotting up to one of the wooden pillars, he crouched and leapt up it. Once again proud of his feline grace and sharp claws, he dug into the rotting wood and clambered halfway up the pillar. The fox scratched and clawed his way onto the far side of the big white one, and apart from his tail which was wrapped around the support and his paws, he was invisible. Ready to drop should the big canine try to get him from above, or climb harder should she drop down into a pit that had some very fragile stairs (it would be a problem if they both went for him, but the hybrid was outside and he still had the boxes that would just about support his light weight), Cursico sat where he was and waited with a vaguely bored expression to see what the foolish young pup would do (and as far as dog ages went, both Kiyoko and Navea counted as pups... just more irony to top off the day).

She eyed the young pup through the hole she had made in the flooring of the old hut. Although she thought her expression was stern and focused, it came off still very innocent and confused. Her brows furrowed, eye narrowing in. But her tongue still happily lolling out of her mouth, long strands of saliva hanging from her maw for a moment before dropping off and landing in the dirt below her.
She watched the small 'puppy' dart and climb around the floor under her, and it typical Kiyoko fashion, the thought crossed her mind that the two were now playing a game of hide and seek. Forgetting fully that she was originally trying to practice on her den mother job, trying to punish the rotten' young thing for having such a foul mouth. Her total expression changed as quickly as she had shoved her head through the hole. A smile creased her face and her eyes widened with a sparkle. Kiyoko giggled silently as she raised herself from the hole and peered around the room. Navea was gone now too! This could only mean that Kiyoko was it. And she loved being it.
A almost maniacal laugh escaped her lips as she once again shoved her head through the flooring of the hut, eyes adjusting once again to the darkness underneath her before she spotted the young red pup again. "Oh, sir, you are going to have to find a better place than that! I can see you, I just need to get you now. Yes, sir."
Kiyoko wondered momentarily where Navea could be hiding before she caught a whiff of her outside the abode. Then Kiyoko thought to herself just how easy this was going to be. It was almost as if these two friends of her weren't even trying to hide at all! Silly dogs! It was going to be way too easy, she thought as she started ripping up the floorboards once again.

Over-sized auditories twisted toward the moving within the rocky den. Wrinkles etched across her canvas as the light gaze scanned the structure in search of some way to get in. A low growl rolled within her chest, escaping into a whine of annoyance as the scittering sounds that seemed to edge their way further from her location. Suddenly the roar of manic laughter tugged her attention, nearly making the hybrid fae leap off of the earth. A delicately crafted skull fell off kilter watching toward the door way in anticipation of something...of anything to offer explanation for the change in mood. What was it with this big fluffy dog? Her lengthy limbs seemed to suddenly turn on as they thrust forward pulling her lithe frame closer to the doorway to investigate just what t he problem was here. One radar fell back to keep a close guard on what was happening behind her in case this little fox decided to try to escape.
Hearing the exclamation of being able to find him and needing to hide better pulled her personality in varying directions. A good game of hide and seek sounded like so much fun! But revenge sounded so sweet as well. Why couldn't she have both? Her slender maw stuck itself within the dwelling first followed by eyes narrowed in thought. A sadistic grin spread along her maw as she thought of being "it" and finding the fox.

Cursico leaned his head to the side so see past the pillar he was gripping onto. So I'm a sir now? Hm... Well, I'm guessing that's an improvement, even if no Queen has dubbed me as such. Though, to be honest, whatever she thinks of me, I'm still likely to get squashed at close quarters. "You'll get a splinter if you keep that up." He noted wryly, "And in this place, probably an infection too." It couldn't hurt to try to rationalise with an insane dog, it might just keep his hide in one piece... might. Then again, the wolfish one wouldn't be convinced nearly so easily, and judging by the sound of it, they wanted a 'piece of the action'. Snorting in annoyance, he looked across at one of the tiny little basement windows that humans seemed to enjoy putting in... well otherwise the room would be dark unless they punched holes through the floor (and he had no idea what a light bulb was). The fox flexed his injured leg, and found it moving in the wrong direction to that he had intended, instead of moving outwards, it shot inwards, hitting his other leg. With only his front claws gripping the wood, he skidded down leaving gouge marks in the rotted wood. Once he tried to recatch his grip with his hind legs, but as he had gained momentum, it was a lost cause. Oh lucky, lucky, three million times lucky, him! To make matters worse, Cursico landed on his bad leg. With a scream of pain and a loss of rationale, the vulpine dived head first into the pile of boxes that blocked an entire wall of the basement. For a hiding place, it worked perfectly, the spongey cardboard sagged back into place after he tore through it, leaving no indication there was anything else in there. The thick mouldy smell also worked to keep his scent only a thing of the past; Disgusting, yes?

Kiyoko heard Navea nearing the door. She heard The small pup under the home remind her of the dangers that surrounded her. And she wasn't stupid. She knew the puppy was right. What a smart little thing! She bet his momma was very proud of him. And she told him so. "You know, you're right! I bet on all bets that your mommy is very very proud of you, you're a little smartie, yes you are. Yes you arreee" Her last sentence was in a cherry baby voice that she assumed the small doggie under the floor would just get so excited about! Just as excited as she would. Kiyoko pulled her head from the now rather large hole she had made in the floor. Although it was now large enough to easily fit her, she didn't take that into consideration. She already had a new plan in works in her head.
Kiyoko moved away from the hole as if it were something she created on ice, backing away slowly, still on her belly, her tail slowly sweeping the wooden floor behind her. When she finally felt as if she was far enough away from the destruction she had made, she rose to her feet, tongue lolling and shouted to the heavens. "Oohhhh Navea! Here I come!" And with that, she pranced out the door, expecting that her other friend was still spying right outside. She should be easy to catch!
Although Kiyoko hadn't really worked out the plan in her head as other canines would, an idea formed. Navea could surely jump higher than Kiyoko and she was surely more agile. Once Kiyoko caught Navea, she bet it would be a lot easier for her to tag the puppy than it would be for Kiyoko. Then Kiyoko could hide! And she knew all the good places.

Brows furrowed as her plan was obviously squashed by the overgrown puppy. What a pity! She was looking forward to getting to "play" with the little fox. Her frame slunk backwards as the sound of paws pressing against the wooden floorboards teased her receptors. Large ears stayed locked onto the white dog's location wondering exactly what she thought she was doing. Was she going to leave the little morsel unattended? Her maw twisted into a pure sign of frustration, lips pursing. The fur along her shoulders stood on end as she considered the next move.
A sly smile spread along her slender snout as she realized that with the hopefully silently hiding herding dog it may turn the tables into Navea's favor. She hopped forward, with an ecstatic spring in her step as the potential was realized. A short gasp escaped the fae, her long, whip-like tail thrashing left to right in amusement of her ideas. Her voice chiming as the other female came into view around the corner, "Aw no! You found me! You're so great at hide and seek!" The grin that invaded her maw split wide enough to allow her tongue to loll from it's encasing.

Eww, gross. Why is it so wet in here? This cave has a roof of all things, there must be a leak or something. What the hell is this squidgy stuff anyway? The fox peered at the cardboard in the dark, not quite sure what to make of the strange substance that never occurred naturally. After some deliberation, he decided that it must be a strange, smelly moss of sorts. The decomposing brown matter wasn't the type of place any animal would want to be, and the sagging structure threatened to collapse at any moment- much like the "cave" did in a more subtle way. Struggling against the soggy material, Cursico clambered his way to the top of the pile, having to tear through boxes that threatened to hold him captive. And lucky for his bruised pride, the big white canine had already gone after the other dog; meaning he missed being called a smart dog (and to the fox, that was no compliment at all). The little red fluff-ball took a precarious balance on the castle of boxes that swayed like some sort of boat. Feeling uncomfortable even with a guaranteed soft landing, the fox perked its ears. Hide and seek? He snorted lightly and shook his head in confusion. That was the pride for hanging around insane canines (and of course, he was the completely sane one.) So this was all a game now? Cursico gave his injured leg a couple of cursory licks and snorted again. "If I die, I hope I can haunt these two." He muttered sourly, laying on his swaying castle of cardboard to wait and see whether or not he could survive this ordeal.

Kiyoko took off without a thought after finding Navea. Behind her, a cloud of dust and debris formed as her back feet started moving before her front. A heavy pant started to escape from her maw even though she hadn't run very far. The excitement of it all had her heart pounding faster than ever. Nearing a home only a few yards from the one the other two inhabited, she shot around the corner, down the side of the house and disappeared into the foliage behind it. Kiyokos breathing tried to slow as she peered out between the leaves towards the direction of where she came from. She was smiling broadly, knowing that they would never find her. Because Kiyoko never just hid. She would get curious about where the other players were and would creep back towards them, camouflaging herself. And that's exactly what she did. Only moments later her curiosity took over and she slowly started making her way back, staying hidden in the bushes, her eyes peering out in front of her, looking as if she was stalking something.
When she neared the home, she stopped and listened. It was quiet at first. Had Navea caught the young pup? And if she did, where was he? Was he behind her? She turned around quickly with a shocked expression on her face. Nothing. Was he above her? Her head jerked up towards the sky as she scanned the tree tops above her. Nothing there either. Then she thought for a moment that maybe the two had found a ever BETTER game than hide and seek! And Kiyoko was missing out! But what if they hadn't? What if they were planning on teaming up against her."Oh no no no. They shall not get me. I'm the best at hide and seek and I will show them!", she giggled to herself, staying right where she was.
