It felt as if perhaps it had been a life time since I had interacted with my own species. Or any species for that matter. I had been traveling for quite some time and my legs had grown to become weak. I could feel them trembling as each step was takin. Dial ducked every so ofted to avoid the low petruding branches from the tree's. White emodiment moved with such ease, despite the weakness in which it felt. A low softened sigh escaped my black lips as honey colored orbs searched my surroundings. Large triangular auds taking in all the sounds in which the forest had to offer me. I was hungry, I could feel it in the pits of my stomach each time it snarled angerly at me. And my throat, well it was dry. I swear it could compete with the driest deserts right now and possibly win.
Deeply inhaling I attempted to gather all the entertwining scents the terrain had to offer me. Many of them old, that just seemed to linger on the barks of the tree's. At this point nothing seemed new and no one seemed near. However the aroma of water soon took over everything, and auds perked in full alert. The liquid foundation was desperately needed at this point and so weak appendages carried my white hued canvas in that general direction. Finally within my visual range I spotted the lake, and was instantly washed over with relief. Petite sized paws carried me closer the waters edge. Cranium lowered to the ground as that pink muscle slowly began to lap up the cool refreshing liquid. I could feel it trickle down my throat and practically hit the bottom of my stomach. Causing my entire body to get a cold chill running through it. At this point I was not 'there', my mind felt empty, and I forgot my surroundings or where I was. I was in pure ecstacy.
Nothing could ruin this moment.

It had been quite some time since the young pitbull had visited the cool waters of the lake. Generally she avoided this area all together as just the very sight of her old prison was enough to send her into a state of frenzy. It was quite odd that she would end up in this place in plain view of her torturous past. Yet there she sat on the forest's edge, the sun's arms stretching down upon her front paws enticing the juvenile forward. The bright light attempting to lure her toward the lake, a yellow siren singing a beautiful song that only Latte could hear.
Mahogany eyes slitted as a broad head swiveled upon her muscular neck, scanning the area in a curious fashion. How the hell did she end up here anyway? Her gaze locked with the shadows of the forest behind her as she searched the sea of memories for even an instant when she considered coming here recently. Nothing. Blank. Empty. There was no moment where she had an ounce of desire to revisit this hell hole. Surely to many eyes this would be a beautiful scenery. A crystal clear lake surrounded by a thick forest that seemed as if it were painted out of a fairy tail story. Yet just across the lake the forest grew thinner, the trees bare and twisted. Their appearance seemed to take on the personalities of those who had brought Latte and many of the other canines to this island, deranged.
She had sat for much too long wondering how she arrived in this place. Was this something that she could ever get use to? The appearing in random locations without any memory of her travels? A deep sigh trailed from her spring board chest as she rose to her full height. Oddly enough she was quite parched, her throat dry as if desert sands had been poured down her inner workings. Automatically eyes dropped to the earth in front of her as her frame began to push forward. Not even a single full step was taken, her left forepaw hovering over the soft earth below as brows scrunched together in curious fashion. Inky pupils readjusted as they focused upon a set of tracks that led from the lake to the very spot upon which she had awoken from her trance. The lifted paw now lowered itself matching up with the indents leading toward the forest, matching identically. The life muscle within her chest banged uncontrollably against her ribs, racing to keep up with her mind. Had she gone to the lake already?
Without hesitation she continued forward, tracing the curving line of pawprints toward the lake. Deep, confused orbs stayed plastered upon the trail being sure that she didn't miss a single print. The bulldog wrapped herself through the sparse trees that created a border between the forest and clearing of the lake. The thirst that had driven her to originally come in this direction was long forgotten stepping cautiously around the waters edge. She was nearly ontop of the fae that was sipping from the pristine liquid pool before the wolfess was even noticed. Large radars pushed forward to their fullest extent as that long whip cord slashed through the air behind her. To greet the fellow femme or to follow her own trail? Her heart and mind were both torn. Were there answers at the end of her form of the yellow bring road? As she pondered over her next move a friendly grin split her broad maw simply watching the stranger in silence.

ooc- Sorry for the wait! Word count- 439 It seemed as if I had been sitting by the watering hole for hours, just stareing blankly at my own, disgusting reflection. The things I had done in the past made it hard for me to look at myself the same anymore. Although here I was supposed to mold a new image of myself. And slowly I was working on the first chapter. First things first though I had to try to attempt to forget the horrorific mistakes I had already made. Or atleast put them on the back burner of my thoughts. A low sigh rumbled from deep within my chest and escaped my lips as I turned my gaze elsewhere. The cool, soothing breeze causing my fur to ruffle ever to slightly. Rump was placed upon the ground, and tassel brought around my legs.
I hadn't notices yet that another fae was headed in my direction. I was oblivious to the sounds of paw steps upon the solid earths surface. And the breeze had not yet carried her sweet aroma in my general direction. If she were here to attack she would certainly be catching my at a vulnerable moment, and would be a good time to catch someone by the elimate of surprise. I replayed my memories over and over again in my brain carriage. It wasn't until the other damn near ran my ass over that I realized she was there. I had caught her from the corner of my eye, and like a cat that had been startled out of a deep sleep I flew into the air. I was supposed to land on my paws of course, but it startled me more when I felt cold liquid first on the pads of my feet, and then engulfing my entire albastar embodiment. No I did not land on the ground, instead I landed directly into the crystalline murky waters with a rather large splash.
Twin towers were plastered to my dial when my cranium rose through the surface. Honey brown orbs locked upon the smaller canine, that possessed a weird appearance. Paws paddling me back to where the edge was. Emerging entirely out of the water now I felt relieved when the pads of my paws felt the grassy earth. Now pulling the rest of me out. I was trying so hard not to laugh at my own stupidity. And so I basically bit at my lip as I shook my bodice off, allowing driplets of water to fly everywhere, in any which direction. However my own white fur remained soaked. "Well then, that was the perfect wake up call, no?"

Everything was a surprise from nearly knocking into the wolfess, to the stranger nearly leaping into the cool waters. Wrinkles creased the young pitbull's features, crown tilting curiously to the left as she watched in interest as the snow hued fae emerged from the depths of the lake. For any on the outskirts it would have been quite a comedy show to watch the pair. Oversized receptors folded back against a broad skull, wide light hues watching as the larger canine climbed from the water and onto dry land once more. Was she going to be friendly about the startle or punish young Latte? A single previous stride was stolen back swiftly creating a greater distance between the strangers. A broken, worried voice clambered from wide jaws, "I...I...I'm sorry about that. I didn't see you there!"
The confusion was quickly replaced with a split mouthed grin, a long red carpet lolling from the side of her jaws. A long whip shifted slowly behind her as the expression of the wolfess was read clearly as non-threatening. The tail quickly gained momentum threatening to slice any who approached in half with it's velocity, wriggling the young canine's rear end uncontrollably. The true Latte slowly was emerging from her state of panic and confusion brought on by her sudden appearance here, and the incident with the stranger. The wonderment of the odd phenomena of the bulldog not remembering how or why she arrived places was pushed to the back of her mind once again as a potential friend became much more important.
Thick pillars drew the multi-hued fae closer to the soaken female, black pits stretched in an attempt to pull in her moistened scent and investigate as much as possible. "You don't have a pack? I never quite understood how one could be without. Don't you get lonely?" Some would refrain from asking such blunt questions, yet one thing this little girl hadn't learned yet was to filter her thoughts.
OOC: Sorry so horrible...ZERO muse today.
