For someone to first view this creature, it would quite possibly be a rather shocking experience. Standing at nearly three and a half feet, just at the shoulders, Sia was hard not to look up to, so to speak. Although, if someone watched just a bit longer, they would soon realize that this extremely tall beast was of no concern. The way he carried himself would give him away, slow movements, pausing every so often to take in his surroundings, twitching and nearly bolting at anything that sounded out of place. No, this wolf was nothing to be worried about. In fact, he could easily be considered a target for most. Sia was not born a fearful wolf, but recent events caused him to be thrown into a world of caution and stealth.
Oh, how he abhorred coming to this area. His careful strides suggested that he expected something dangerous to be lurking within the foliage. Ears, too large for his small framed skull, were standing at full attention, swiveling non-stop in all directions. One crack of a limb or crunch of dead debris instinctively forced his slender legs to pull him into a stance that suggested he was ready to run as all of his senses pushed in the direction of the noise. Although most of the time, there was nothing of worry to the wolf, but those few times when his instincts were right was enough to make him react the same each and every time.
Not so long ago after the explosion, the wolf was fearless. Approaching, and even running off, confused canines. One time, he made a mistake. A small mutt who knew her own powers and the effect they would cause lashed out at the wolf. She didn't know how to control herself yet, though, and her blast left the wolf severely injured and the small canine charred and smoking, dead. He had come in contact with many canines like her. Ones that couldn't control their power as well as they thought, and a warning always turned into a nearly deadly affair.
Sia had less reason to be so worried of his surroundings with his power. It was something that couldn't go out of control, something he was thankful for every day. Being able to sense powers, to know them, to know if the manipulator of them was able to control it, or if they even knew it was there, was an amazing and life saving ability to Sia. Nonetheless, he didn't know what was out there, and he wasn't going to take a chance relying totally on this ability.
As he neared the body of water, dark brown eyes cast a slow gaze over his entire viewing area. Checking one more time for trouble before dipping his head low and drank deeply from the waters.

[bg=#2f2b07][atrb=width,460,true][atrb=border,0,true] Upon an old scorched branch the small framed fox lay curled. A thick, black tipped plume wrapped itself over a short, angled muzzle as if to keep her inky digit warm. Though her entire body was the definition of relaxation and most that spied her would assume her to be fast asleep honey hued irises spoke of a different story. The dual pools shifted over the landscape frantically, windows to the explosive energy bubbling within the small beast. Large, over sized radars seemingly pirouetted to a new sound upon the edge of the branch, yet there was not even a breeze to rustle the foliage below. One ear split from the direction the pair had been focused on finding the insecure paw falls near the lake below. A curious gaze flickered toward the tall figure coming into view before being torn to the end of the branch where she rested. A small offshoot was examined as if searching for the greenery that had once adorned the ancient tree, her small skull twisting to the side in curiosity. "Him?" she asked with some doubt to the atmosphere as her gaze found the tall wolf sipping from the cool waters. "I suppose he does seem lonely."
Without a moment wasted her front paws pushed her frame into a sit, crown nodding once before the little vixen threw her body from the branch, plummeting to the earth below. Swiftly she flew through the undergrowth toward the biggest dog she had ever seen, curved nails grasping into the earth attempting to brake before splashing into the lake right next to the male. She stopped herself just in time, a single paw breaking the edge of the liquid. "Oh no! Oh no!" she whined flicking the dampened paw through the air, sprinkles of water spraying this way and that. The whine continued, a look of complete and utter distress twisting her canvas as if she had been shot by man's fire. Once the fox was satisfied that the paw was dry enough she threw her body into a spin, a second spin, and then a final third. Her maw split into a bright, friendly grin staring up at the stranger, her entire demeanor changed from pained to overly happy. Not a word was offered, but her entire existence screamed pathetic friend.

A long, pink tongue slipped in and out of his mouth almost carefully as he drank lightly from the body of water. He barely made ripples appear upon its surface. Everything that he did now revolved around slow, cautious movements. The extremely large receivers that rested on the top of his head were alert and slowly moving forward and backward, dissecting the sounds that surrounded him. Still not totally grasping his own power, he was not yet able to detect possible threats unless they were in very close proximity, forcing him to still rely on his natural hearing abilities.
The muscle within his maw stopped moving suddenly, still partially hanging tightly from his mouth, one ear swiveling quickly towards the small sounds of crunching foliage. It took only a split second before his slender head jerked up, but it was still a split second too long. Nearly overlooking the small creature shooting towards him and nearly into the water next to him, he could still sense the mental powers radiating from her as well as he could stand on his own four paws. Within the very first seconds of their encounter, the fear inside of him could be seen clearly on the outside. Sias ears slammed against his skull, eyes widened and his throat began to swallow nothing rapidly. He leaned to one side, obviously ready to bolt into the trees behind him. The hair on his thick black mane stood up slightly, trying to make himself appear even larger and more fearsome to the tiny fox at his feet.
The one thing that kept him from moving was the peculiar whines and aggravations over the damp paw and the almost humorous short, rapid spins she gave before looking up at him with such an excitable look that he couldn't help to shift his eyes from side to side, trying to figure out what to do next. His stance stayed the same, still leaning slightly. Eyes were still wide but fear was replaced with confusion and his ears were now completely erect, twitching slightly.
The power sensing ability he possessed gave him a slight idea of what this tiny fox was capable of, and the pang within his head told him to get the hell out of her way. At the same time, he could almost sense that she was up to no evil so he offered her one thing. "...Hello?"
Never having been in close proximity to other species of canine his entire life, he was odd and confused when it came to social situations. His 'hello' had came off more as a question than a statement because he was still unsure if it was the correct word to say in all situations such as these.

Triangular radars fell back slowly against her skull as reality became clear to her finally.Almond shaped pools of honey inspected the posture of the tall animal before her. There was tension though it was slowly dissipating, the brute's own auds finding their proper place once again and his features shifting to something quite different. Her tiny pink muscle peeked slightly from it's cavern, laying neatly between two bottom fangs as the silly grin held it's place upon her slight muzzle. Furry brows stitched themselves in their own curiosity as she contemplated exactly what this creature was as she had never seen one like him. There were many species roaming the island and she had believed she had seen them all. Finally a word broke the silence, it's interruption pushing her skull off balance to add to the innocent puppy look being offered to him.
A mixture of emotions played on her face from curiosity to sheer joy, yet her small frame held a relaxed presence. Muscles were loose under a plush red-silver pelt, bushy plume hanging limply between pointed hocks beside for the occasional involuntary twitch. Slender jaws finally closed, pale lips pulled tightly upward the smile never leaving her features. "Hi," her voice rang in a high pitched, raspy tone. It was a tense sound. The sound of one trying to hold back from telling a secret. Hold back, that's exactly what she was attempting. Every other she spoke to would run off. All except for Jags of course! The stress of the situation was beginning to eat at the little vixen, one torturous bite after another. Her gaze flickered from the maned wolf to the branch over head, a plead rounding her eyes as if she were unsure about what to do next. Requesting assistance from some invisible source.
After a moment the silly grin wiped away the etching of anxiety that had found itself on her canvas. Dainty paws brought her body closer to the stranger in a prancing pony fashion, her full banner now rising to level itself with her back allowing it to swish side to side to a unheard beat. The exchange of atmospheric gasses was quick, the sound of the air swooshing in and out of her nares was much too fast. The Corsac's sides rose and fell in a rapid pace, her silky coat hiding the emaciated state that lined her body. Mild tremors began to course through the fox's body, shimmying across her skin while pupils almost took over her entire optics in an overflow of excitement. There was a friend here! How could she do as Jags told her and stay quiet. One word at a time? How horribly rude would that be? She would scare him away if she was too pushy with her friendliness though....but would seem cold without her usual charm. It was like her brain was on overload, seeing sparks shooting from her ears would not be a surprise as so many thoughts collided with one another. The pressure just became too much for her and the words exploded like an atom bomb from her mouth, the initial punch causing her front paws to lift off of the earth in a hop.
"What'syourname? Doyouhaveapack? Whereareyoufrom? Whattypeofanimalareyou? Ineversawsomebodylikeyoubefore!!! I'mafoxifyoudidn'tknow.Ilivebymyself... well... withjagstoobutnobodyelsetalkstohimforsomereason. Iamhereallofthetimeandneversawyoubefore..."
The jumbled words seemed as they would never end, a constant stream of questions and statements flowing from her snout and splashing the brute right in his face. Yet they cut off short, the small creature throwing herself to the ground, flattening against the foliage as much as was possible. Wrinkles formed creases over her forehead, ears plastering against her skull in what could only be described as fear. That same branch was being reviewed once more as she began to creep closer to the larger canid, army crawling along the ground between trembles.

Watching the small foxes jumbled array of emotions sweeping her face, the wolfs expressions also changed with hers. Confusion, surprise, fear. All of them swept across his face in a matter of a few seconds. Eyes wincing, then widening, brows perked up as high as they could go before his eyes quickly shifted from side to side as he tried to decide what was the best option for him. The peculiar creature in front of him seemed as if she were about to burst. This is where the fear came into play. If her emotions burst, would that mean her power would as well? He felt as if he was tiptoeing across a mine field.
The quick squeak of a greeting forced Sias auds against his head. He was on guard at all times, appearing much like a feline would when stalking something they were unsure about, flinching at every noise. He had no time to think before he was bombarded with questions and comments. Each one coming out back to back, with no room for the lanky giant to reply. Each slur of words forcing his rump closer and closer to the ground until it settled, front paws still stretched widely away from one another. His large triangular ears were now standing at attention, his dark brown eyes wide and his jaw slightly parted from the shock of it all. Sia couldn't even remember the first question she asked him nor the others jumbled in with it, so, almost subconsciously he replied to the last thing the now shivering creature had said. "I... I don't come out often." His voice was soft, almost a whisper.
Blinking rapidly and taking a deep inward breath to try to slow his heart rate, he fumbled over his mind on how he was going to ask what he needed to know, eyes once again shifting from side to side. "Do you... Are you... You're quite powerful." Changing his question to a statement was the only way he could imagine bringing the topic up without offending the tiny ball of fluff. Swallowing loudly, he refocused his attention on her, craning his neck downward. "What is your name?", he asked, looking her straight in the eyes.

The vixen held her stance upon the soft grass, ignoring the variety of sensations, pricks and tickles, the various foliage offered her creamy under carriage. The wide-eyed, nervous gaze continuously shifted between her new friend and the branches finally pausing upon the stranger as he spoke once more. "I... I don't come out often," he had stammered in response. Brows dipped toward each other as she contemplated his statement. How could one not come out often? What exactly was he hiding from? Such a tall beast would surely have much more power then most around here wouldn't he? The assumptions and accusations that were trying to flood her mind were cut short with a flickering of her right lobe, her features softening once again.
The lanky creature's next statement caught her completely off guard, pushing her front end back upon her haunches. Brezza's skull twisted with a single brow raising in an "are you serious" type fashion. Powerful? Little Brezza? No....she was anything but powerful. She was weak. Nothing but a prisoner of Jags...a prisoner of her own mind. She cowers and this brute sees strength? Maybe he was crazy, did he loose a few of those marbles rumbling through his cranium? A moment too long had passed as the fox contemplated what exactly this wolf was speaking of, how crazy he really was, and if it was a fun crazy or a run for your life crazy. Should she sick Jags on him while she runs? Typical fox curiosity got the better of her and there she sat, not a muscle flinching in response to her thoughts. His question had been asked before she got around to responding to his odd statement, "Brezza....and yours?" Almost immediately after offering her name and seeking his own calling she continued with her questions. "Powerful? Me?" she asked curiously. If the confusion etched in her questions were not enough of a surprise surely the fact that she could indeed speak with a normal speed would be.

This little vixen before him seemed to ooze confusion from her small frame. Not only did she now seem confused in her mind from his words, but the constant changing from yippity mutt to cowardly damsel to a now more seemingly normal state. It all frightened the wolf slightly. The constant mood swings could very well send her powers on the rampage. Not to mention that the next mood swing he might see could be anger. Leaving her now could surely infuriate the tiny creature, so Sia stayed and forced himself to remember how the other canines communicated with one another in the labs, the ease of it all.
Now wait. She didn't think she was powerful? Did she not know what she possessed? A frown formed on the tall brutes maw, thinking that not knowing your power could potentially be more dangerous than knowing it. Focus. Focus on her. Appear joyful to be in her presence. She seems like she needs the attention, he told himself. As his mind raced around what to say next, his physical features showed it. Eyes seemed to float upwards as if they were searching his own mind. Darting them back downwards, he simply smirked at the small fae. "Nevermind, Brez. I'm Sia. Quite pleased to meet your acquaintance. Are you and Jags friends then?"
He still wasn't really sure how to talk to another canine, so his words came out as if he were speaking to a child. Simple questions with hopefully simple replies. Talking about something or someone Brezza enjoyed was sure to keep her happy, right?
