[bg=B69D75][atrb=width,471,true][atrb=border,0,true] Walking along the ground, the valiant Akita has had a long day venturing off his lands. He wanted some time away, still mourning what he had lost not so long ago in his point of view. It was odd, usually he wouldn't be one to keep feeling down about things continuously as he was, but loosing everything he had in one night, was a feeling he would never never forget. How could one choose such an action for their own selfish sufferings? He has heard of why the one who had done this had taken such steps, but while she was suffering others had it quite well. No he does not ask that the one responsible would suffer for their lifespan, simply leave, and not put others into grief is all he asks.
Walking down familiar streets, he gracefully lept onto the haunted porch that he had once called his own, remembering smells of fire meat that his humans would cook, the games they would play. Oh how he wishes they were back... Lying down onto the wooded porch, triangular head resting between two white socked paws, Tobi was going to spend the night here hopefully once more, to bring his laments to a final end, he could lead a pack with such mental fragility.
He let his hind legs curl around his built frame, stripped body almost matching the pattern of the wooden tapestry below. He was lovely, lonely, and waiting for something he didn't know if it would ever come. The colorful leaves falling around like yesterday's rain, the scent of Autumn was in the wind, Autumn birds singing their last songs before going off else where for the cold. Tobi, he would wait, wait for the glorious night fall and see the last of fireflies, just for one last time, then returning back to his lands, hopefully rejuvenated.
The soft cry of a mourning dove, fluttered in the air, an odd sound for fall, but something that mirrored his feelings openly. What a beautiful song for one so abundant like the dove.

It had been many months since the fae had wandered back to the place of her birth. She had not seen the village since she had fled the slaughter in fear of her own life. She was not quite sure what had sent her back here. The fae had enough difficulty dealing with the day to day guilt from the event, depression taking a firm grasp of her soul. This visit could not mend the holes in her heart, rather it would tear it further leaving it gaping and bleeding. She deserved to be miserable. It was the reason she had not yet allowed herself death. Death was too easy. Too easy of an out for a traitor. For a selfish bitch as herself. One silent step followed the next in a slow, melancholy rhythm. Following the female was the sweet scent of grass, and decaying leaves as paw pads crunched the greenery and leaf litter below. Triangular radars stood alert upon her wide skull, lazily twisting east to west with a brief pause to the north. All other senses seemed to be shut down completely as the zomby-like dog wandered over the village's border leaving the sanctuary of the wood behind her.
Without much thought her trail carried her automatically toward her old home, as if she had a chip implanted that placed her on autopilot. Almond eyes were half hidden behind red lids as she stared off into her memories, welcoming the images of the last day here to flood her mind. The more torture she went through the better. Before long there it was, the place that had sheltered her for the first year of her life, the place where her parents had died. The last place she had seen her brother and sister. Only now did her brain return to reality, wrinkles creasing her forehead as the scent of another bombarded her nasal cavity. Did those bastardly mutts take over the living quarters after they pushed the humans of the island into extinction? Who would dare call this house of all places home? The scent was familiar, yet through her depression it seemed that much was lost including the face to put with the smell. She rarely used the sense any more other than hunting. She didn't care enough to exercise her nose.
Her frame halted at the bottom of the porch that led into her old sanctuary, her tiara tilting slightly as she gazed at the heap of striped fur seeming to guard the door. The droopy lids that hid her orbs now creped open wider as she simply stared in silence.

[bg=B69D75][atrb=width,471,true][atrb=border,0,true] Feeling the gentle cool breeze against his soft brindle coat, bringing the scent of fall to is black nose, opening his maw to taste the sweet air before the freezing cold would intrude the wonderful sights of cold burning leaves. He shifted his weight to lie on his side, remembering how the children would harshly pat his head until fur would rub off, he would call them love spots. A grin traced on his maw at the thought, love spots, he almost had a few complete bald spots after his first year, but oh how he loved it. He let a sigh flutter by him, letting tired eyes slowly shut for a moment to see the mental pictures go by. The sights of a busy village, laughing children and some who cry from a bully who needs a gentle nudge of comfort, maybe even hug to death someone who could careless about himself but to take away the pain of being hurt for a jerk off older then themselves. Even other canines were happy, runing in the streets, barking hello and maybe causing trouble between each other. Ah those were the days, memories as magical as they should be, thank the heavens no one of the pack is here to see their leader at the weakest as he could be, day dreaming the past back into reality.
But an odd sound took the soft chirping of birds away into distractions. Eyes lazily fluttered open, he saw at first a hazy image, comfortably flattened ears perked up and he jotted into a side sphinx position. Warm bronze eyes cleared, to see a familiar figure. His eyes jotted open, his rump lifted off the wood, his head tilting to one side in confusion. "Toriety...?" His voice in disbelief, it has been at least a year since he has seen any of his sisters, he couldn't believe that this dog could be one of them, he must be seeing things, how could she have found him, of all places here like when they were pups. She must be an illusion, and yet his heart yearned for her to be true. A curled tail over his hips naturally of his species waved once in excitement, if it was an illusion, oh please let it last as long as he was here, he would gladly take an trickery for company until sun rise.
Tobi wanted to leap on his sister, greet her as they would when they were pups, but something was holding him back. He was grown, larger then her, and not wanting to crush her or the illusion away, he stood on soft small paws while watching her... something was off, if this was an illusion she should look like before, a happy quiet Akita. But she seemed almost lifeless... was something wrong with her, or was his imagination being cruel.

A single paw withdrew pulling her frame closer to escape as the form began to shift. The expression painting her features never shifted, emotion absent from the fae. Two brows furrowed, casting shadows over dark windows and causing the wrinkles within her canvas to deepen. Her head fell further to the right in a curious fashion as the brute jumped to his paws, "Toriety?" It was as if she had been shocked to life, all four paws leaving the earth as she jumped into the air in excitement. A curly puff of a tail shifted left to right, left to right over her haunches. Sleepy orbs transformed into a wide, rounded stare, her maw falling open into a canid grin. It looked as if fire crackers were fizzling within her, just waiting for the right moment to explode into a burst of color.
The wait was short. Without warning the muscles within her hind limbs constricted and pushed her into flight until she landed upon the porch right in front of her long lost brother. Her two front paws took rest upon each side of his neck, her tail waving mercilessly behind her. A long coral tongue escaped it's keep running along the furry, brindled cheek that she had missed so much. He was alive and it was worth celebrating, even if it meant not following normal adult dog protocol. Her ears dropped submissively toward her skull a gentle whine surrounding the siblings.

[bg=B69D75][atrb=width,471,true][atrb=border,0,true] He watched curiously the fae, which he thought she could be Toriety... for a moment he could swear it was all just a simple illusion, something he could try to love, no he would love just the same as the original just for one night so ease his aching, even for a moment. A small smile traced along his maw, curling the ends on his lips to what he believed could be an illusion, if not a grace from the gods themselves.
He wasn't expecting much, just a little company is all, but when she started to fidgit after he said her name, looking as happy as she had ever, he felt a little rising of puppy left in him rise. But all together, he kept himself composed, just his jaw dropping to pant a little away the excitement. He was taken a little aback when she jumped up on him, and he chuckled when she started kissing him, from what he coul dtell, she was verry much real, unless not only he was hallucinating but delusional aswell! His own tail wavered with a mimicry of the tempo that Toriety had taken.
He couldn't help but drop aswell once Toriety had taken a more submissive form, his eyes widened in surprise and he dropped to his belly to meet her nose to nose. Her whine had brought his pointed ears back, and a smile retraced it's self uppon his maw while trying ot take a more friendly facade. "Toriety. It's really you then." he started, letting a soft pause drop between them while the watched her in awe after a few years had made them both grow so much. "I'm so glad to see you." The tiger like Akita spoke rather softly to his sister, there was no doubt she was the real thing. "You seem unharmed... I'm glad." He continued happily durin ght efirst family reunion. He had so much to ask, but he couldn't fin the right words to voice them all... So he would do the best he could with out over whealming her. Hopefully with out overwhealming her.
"Have you seen Tache?"

A mixture of emotions flowed freely through the multi hued fae. For the first time since that terrible night she felt something other than guilt and fear. Happiness was a welcomed change, although in itself it was slightly frightening as well. For one who had not experienced such feelings in so long it was as if it were a new land to explore. Triangular radars perked up as her brother's moist nose touched hers, wrinkles offering that puppish expression as if they had never grown. Her voice was soft, slightly broken from lack of use, "Tobi, I'm so glad to see you. I was so worried...when...you didn't come with us." Her gaze briefly shifted toward the door of their old home before his questioning pulled her attentions back to him. Slowly her ears fainted back toward their resting place, a worry transforming her features one at a time. What would he think if he found out she let Tache go? Why didn't she at least stay with her sister instead of abandoning all of her family? She couldn't answer to begin with, her jaw sliding across the splintering wood in a left to right pattern. "I - I'm so sorry, Tobi..I don't know...I left..." How could she explain? Would he walk away from her for what she had done? Her gentle whine was barely above a whisper as her rear limbs pulled further under her as a means of self consoling. Tucking herself into nothing but a red and white ball of fur was the normal, yet it would be rude in such circumstances. "We were separated that night. I have not heard of her since....nor you." Her skull tilted slightly in questioning fashion. What exactly had her brother been up to for these last couple of years?

[bg=B69D75][atrb=width,471,true][atrb=border,0,true] He was a little concerned by her answer, and let a pause place it's self in the meeting not only for himself, but to let them both digest the sudden meeting. Even he still couldn't believe this was his real sister! He sincerely thought they all had died that night, but seeing Toriety gave him hope that Tache might still be roaming somewhere too; just maybe. He nudged her gently, trying to get her to pick up in her rather... depressing persona at the moment. He doesn't blame her for being so seclusive, if he didn't take on a pack under his wing, he too would have fallen to such a level long time ago. Who knows what would have become of him if that had taken form, maybe his sister Toriety had taken it better then he would have if gone through the same. "No need to feel such anguish over what has happened. I'm just glad to see you safe once again."
He stepped over her, slightly protective as back in the younger days, but more like to get closer to her face, nothing personal and hopefully she remembers. He had let his forgotten self resurface, probably a bad move, but he wasn't aware at the time. "Say, what have you been doing in these past years? I'm curious of your story." Soft amber eyes showed emotions that he would rarely let surface now a days, compassion, worry and slight curiosity. Usually he'd only let a stone face and show enough care for his pack, but that was it.

That thick, curled tail resting upon her back shifted swiftly side to side as Tobi took his stance over her. The reassurance from her brother seemed to immediately lift her mood allowing her a moment to forget about the past...a moment of peace. Her frame twisted onto her back allowing her to better view the tiger striped canvas, a smile splitting her broad maw. A single white paw reached up tapping playfully at his chin, it was as if they were pups once more without a care in the world. Happy upon the porch to their sanctuary, their human family right behind the door. A snort burst through her nares at his questioning, a goofy smile spreading wide along her face, "My story?" she repeated. Her ribcage expanded and contracted in a dramatic sigh, brown eyes looking off into space for effect, "oooh where to begin?" Truth was she most likely smelled of no others as she had been secluded for such an extended period of time, and other than taking to the shadows there was little to tell of. After a pause her shoulders rose and fell in a canid shrug, gaze falling back to meet his, "there really is no story, Tobi. I left here and have been alone since. I have only bumped into 4 or 5 within the last year and have not spoken with any for any length." The weakness again was showing as she offered him how pathetic she truly had been since last seeing her sibling. It was infuriating to her that she allowed herself to be such a coward while here her brother stood outwardly seeming unscathed. Quick to move the spotlight from herself she offered him the same question, "You must have a much more interesting chapter to tell me of your life's novel." Her nostrils flared slightly pulling his scent deep within her nasal passages before continuing, "at least you carrier the scent of others."

"Haha, the same young Toriety." He said lightheartedly after lying back down beside his sister, on the other side that he was originally. "Though you make it sound plain, knowing you, it might be more interesting then what you lead it on to be." trying to perk up her attitude, he tried to make herself view the situation a little more interesting, even if it was a tragic heart wrench. As she retorted his question into her own, he let a flash of memory pass by, starting from the day it had all started. He let a small quiet settle between them as he picked out his words and events carefully. What would she think of what he was about to tell her? Would it be too much of a shock or something to his litter mate, or a great joy? Things he just might find out sooner then later.
"Well, if you must know. Since you are blood related; I don't mind sharing." He finally started, letting his eyes wander the broken down village he once called home. "After that day, I wandered the same way as you. Not doing much, meeting only a few here and there. It was hard to go on, thinking all was gone so quickly. If I knew you were alive, I would have searched." At the end his tone sounded more apologetic, he shouldn't have assumed, it was stupid to have done so. But those dogs, there were so many of them going after the same goal, that he couldn't have thought of anything better. "But those few had started to grow after a few weeks. After the disappearance of humans, more and more grieved and started to seek comfort. All of a sudden there were many of us, me being a part of the grieving circle, to the point where we had become a pack..." he let her some time to put two and two together. He couldn't have just told her straight out his status, a background of the story was the best thing to do, unfortunately. Most of his pack would have been astonished to how much he had just spoke, and frankly, so was he after all this time. "Soon after we declared ourselves as a pack, a leader had to rise, and that leader had to be the one who had leveled himself enough to make clear decisions... that leader is me. That is why I carry the scent of others. "
Ooc: I didn't say this before, but I do love the table you put together for Tobi! Thank you ♥

Onto her side she rolled as he settled next to her upon the wooden structure. Her red frame rested snugly against the tiger striped male, her chin dropping upon now crossed paws. Wide, brown orbs shifted up to continue to watch his face as he responded, a smile playing along her broad maw. Yet, before she had to make up some extravagant adventures to share with him, his own story was being told. His was by far more interesting than hers of hiding out in caves only to slink out for the chance of a meal. The smile lingered as felt lined auds focused upon every word, the expression of amazement a young child would give while told a favorite fairy tale. She had always admired her brother, as well as her sister Tache, but never did she believe that he would become an alpha. He had always been a leader, kind and gentle, but what house pet earned such a prominent role in the wilds? Finally her head lifted, his explanation having faded a moment earlier. Her moist digit pressed lightly into his cheek whispering softly, "I'm quite proud of you, Tobi. You have done well for yourself, and others it seems." It was a rather strange atmosphere between the siblings, seriousness was not something that occurred frequently between them during their life together. Even though fun had long been absent from her life it was an awkward feeling. Without much thought she lunged her skull forward, fangs grasping at the side of his face playfully, her shoulder attempting to push him over. Between low, pup-like growls she assumed herself welcome, "And when do I get to meet the rest of the pack and see my new home?"

The male akita smiled as his sister stated her feelings about his happenings. He wasn't wishing for her to feel such a way, but it was a nice little something that made Tobi feel quite accomplished, wishing he felt that way more often then he did.
"Hm? You wish to see them?" his eyes trailed from the damage before him to the corner of their sockets to see Toriety. "Are you wishing to join?" he was almost in disbelief to think that his sister might just join him in the pack he called his own, truly a I must be dreaming factor. There would be nothing he would like more then to have her around, shoot it would be his honor for her to be around. True blood related family, it was a tear jerking moment for any saps out there.
"If you wish, we can go to Elysian lands and get your self acquainted with them?"
ooc: Sorry it's so short, lack of muse!

Auds angled backward in reaction to his seemingly surprised expression. Wrinkles formed waves across her forehead as she curiously looked over his changing features. Her maw split into a wide canid grin, tongue lolling from the side casually. Her curly-q tail shifted quickly side to side as he questioned her motives for wanting to see the pack lands. Front paws pushed her mass up upon her haunches, the same silly smile plastered along her maw. "Of course I do. I can't let you have all of the glory," she quipped. Her rear rose level with her shoulders now, nose nudging her brother's side gently, "Life of a hermit is getting old now, I need something new and refreshing. And if you have to be it, so be it." She pranced merrily down the stairs that led into their old domain.
It seemed that this place did not hold as much for Toriety as it did for Tobi. She easily dismissed the fact that this was the place that they were birthed and reared, the place that their parents gave their life, the place where their human family was slaughtered, and possibly where Tache had taken her last breath. She did not need the physical location to remind her as she carried the memories day in and day out never having an escape until now. The only happiness that she had felt in such a long time was at the very place that the sadness began. She preferred to keep the most recent emotion attached to this house.
Front limbs slid out in front of her into the ancient dirt, rear waving tauntingly in the air at her sibling. Ebony claws scraped the earth's hide causing small clouds of dust to rise around her paws as she shifted her weight back and forth. "You just better be careful I don't knock you from your thrown, Mighty King," she barked playfully at him before batting in his direction with one white paw.
