A variety of dust and debris flew up into the air as she rolled around frantically in the foliage, scratching her back. With legs kicking and her large slender body withering, she was throwing out a melody of grunts, snorts and sneezes. With all the noise she was making, it would be hard to believe that she thought for a moment that she heard a sound outside of her own. The fae stopped moving suddenly, still on her back. He teeth were unsheathed, not from aggression, but her black lips were far too heavy to fight gravity. Kiyokos paws touched the bottom of her chest, in a Praying Mantis pose and not one single breath escaped her lungs as her nose twitched slowly.
Just as suddenly as she had stopped moving, she started again. This time, quickly rolling off of her back and resting on her stomach. Her white pelt was covered in debris from the Valley. Small flowers and coloured grasses gave her coat texture. She didn't bother to shake it off as she stood, there was something else far much more interesting to her. Another canine.
Once she realized this, her heart reeled with joy and she felt as if she was going to burst out of her own skin, letting out a small dance with her front paws while her tongue, now lolling out, bounced with her movements. "Hulllooo! I smell you out there somewheres. Don't be shyyy.", she shouted her words to the heavens with her eyes closed. When she finished, she looked around the Valley in front of her, holding her breath for an answer with her head tilted and her tongue partly hanging out from her closed jaws.

A dark, solitary figure moved through the valley, tainting the beautiful view was his tall, lean frame...
Contrary to the 'tall, dark and handsome' stereotype, was nothing beautiful about Scáth.
If one set eyes on him and simply stared, they would come to the conclusion that he wasn't exactly unattractive, but... The multiple scars on his black-brindle coat, those dark, sinister burgundy eyes, that ominous crooked grin - that rarely ever seemed to leave his face - and his intimidatingly cheerful, subtly sadistic personna.
Scáth was... Unsettling. One could never know what the amoral canine would do next, and his Metnal warrior status just gave others yet another reason to avoid the unreliable, unpredictable Dutch Shepherd.
But it was hard to avoid something when you had no clue as to what it would do next, and today was no exception.
Scáth roamed the open space at a leisurely version of his odd, limping gait, keeping a lazy eye out for anything that would serve as a potential meal.
However, the first thing the Metnal male spotted was another canine, rolling in the grass several hundred yards away. The pale stranger froze for an instant, still on her back, before lunging up to her paws. Her thick coat was now adorned with dirt and loose fauna; Scáth cocked his head at the sight.
Then, furthering his amusement, the bitch gave a little dance as she caught his scent, closed her eyes and called out.
"Hulllooo! I smell you out there somewheres. Don't be shyyy."
Scáth's grin widened, remaining crooked, and he limped closer. Curiosity compelled him; he was in a somewhat sociable, amiable mood.
For now. "Hello there, beautiful. Whatcha doin' out here all alone?"
His voice was masculine, casual and unmistakable. The Shadow of the Metnal - once he made his presence known - was not easy to forget.

The only sound she heard for those few seconds after her vocalizations was her thudding heartbeat. It's rapid beat had increased from her anticipation of greeting the arrival, no matter who it was. At first glance, at even last glance, no one would ever suspect this large lovable creature placed her loyalty with the vile beings that called Metnal territory home. Some would assume that she was hiding behind a childish facade, that under those playful orange red eyes, there was a fire burning in the pit of her stomach to lash out and destroy all around her. Those who assumed this would be wrong. Kiyoko has never hurt another creature in her life, and would never plan to. She follows Metnal because it was the first group of dogs she had ever run across.
Her flapped ears cocked and quivered when she heard the rather odd footfalls headed her way. They were coming from the area behind her just out of her line of sight. Had her nose tricked her?! The scent of the animal she first noticed was in the direction she was facing, she was sure of it! Kiyoko quickly misplaced her train of thought when the brutes voice filled her head and she turned to face him, her posterior wriggling wildly at the sight. She burst out in a frantic giggle. He had called her beautiful!
With no fear, her jaw opened once again and the muscle within her maw hung loosely at the side of her jaw as she trotted the rest of the way to greet the male. When she was mere feet from him, her ancons slammed on the ground with her rear still in the air, tail waving in the air frantically, the usual playful canine pose. She gave him a sideways stare, only momentarily before a confused expression crossed her face. Now in deep thought, her orange oculars staring at the ground before her as the large rump thudded loudly on the ground.
"Oh, no, no... this is just not right. You are not who I smelled! You smell of..." Kiyoko took in a large deep breath through her nostrils, taking in the brutes scent with her entire existence, then let it loose. With that, her entire demeanor reverted back into it's happy-go-lucky self. "Oh my! You smell like I do. You must know my bestest friend, Erida! I love her so very much...." Kiyokos voice trailed off as she frantically searched her mind for what she was originally going to say. The light bulb coming on inside her skull couldn't have been more obvious to anyone watching her. "Oh, yes. What I sniffed out was something strange, not like a regular dog... maybe a monster.", her voice lowered when she mentioned the possibility of this threatening menace in the Valley, eyes shifting quickly before she raised her attention back up to the brute and smiled childishly at him."I'm Kiyoko!"

L E V I A T H A N I make you laughJust so you could cryx Leviathan was moving gracefully, with slight steps, through the forest. something pulled her towards the place she was going to. Maybe the scent of a domesticated animal... But she didn`t feel like harming anyone today. She just was in a goodmood today. Suprisingly. She smiled when she saw two dogs in distance. She moved her white body forward few steps, and than stopped. She heard them talking, but they were far, so their words sounded like whispering. I`ll say i love you Just to break your heart o The sky was perfectly blue, only few clouds were floating around in this wideness. The air was fresh and it was not very cold. The sun was smiling to creatures on the ground, petting them with its rays. Leviathan was wagging her tail and stepped closer again. Soon, she was only few steps away from them. Hello! I am Leviathan. Leviathan smiled. And you two are...? Leviathan hoped that she will get into the conversation with the two canines. She eyed them carefully. Leviathan knew that they might not accept her warmly, so she was still aware. I`ll heal your wounds Just to create them myselfx Leviathan was fighting with herself. She wanted to be nice, just for once atleast. no matter what, she was going to control herself this time. She looked at the male dog, who she found really appealing. She didn`t care about the scars, she liked him. She gave him a long look, before she looked at the female dog, who was white, just like Leviathan. I`ll give you promises Just to break them a l l

[bg=2D2D2D][atrb=width,450,true][atrb=border,0,true] Scáth's amusement was kept consistant by the female's energetic, if somewhat naive behaviour. She was large, but couldn't have been older than a couple of years; no seasoned stray would be so open and friendly towards a stranger, even if they were of the same pack. Especially not Scáth. She trotted over, jaw relaxed, tongue hanging out, before sinking into the unmistakable play-pose. She gave him a sidelong stare, before her face lapsed into confusion. Her rump hit the ground, and she lay there in as she realised a mistake had been made. The black-brindle Dutch Shepherd merely cocked his head and watched with interest, still grinning crookedly like a hungry coyote.
"Oh, no, no... this is just not right. You are not who I smelled! You smell of..." The female inhaled deeply, then let it loose, reverting back to the side Scáth had found so enjoyable. "Oh my! You smell like I do. You must know my bestest friend, Erida! I love her so very much...." The large white stray's voice trailed off, and her expession became one of intense concentration as she struggled to find the right words. "Oh, yes. What I sniffed out was something strange, not like a regular dog... maybe a monster." Scáth had kept sinisterly silent throughout her little monologue, but at this he let out a quiet chuckle. Monsters did exist - but not in the literal sense of the word - and they were closer to home than expected... The female suddenly smiled childishly at him."I'm Kiyoko!" "Pleasure to meet you, Kiyoko. So you're sunshine's best buddy, eh?" Scáth chuckled again at the latter question; the thought that the fierce Metnal leader was friends with such a canine was of great amusement to the amoral four year old. Out of the corner of his eye, Scáth spied another white female approaching. Her lupine heritage was obvious, peraps even pure; seeing as the black-brindle male did not make a habit of encountering wolves, he wouldn't know for certain. Her scent, when he caught it, was untaintedly wild, and as she approached Scáth half-turned - keeping one eye on Kiyoko - and waved his tail slightly in greeting. Two females, in the space of a few minutes. Though Scáth was had never shown interest in finding a mate, the thought made his crooked grin widen. Face to face with the formiddable Dutch Shepherd, it was his unsettling burgundy gaze and the ominous grin that got to others. Now, the eyes glinted with amusement, and the grin was distinctly similar to that of a shark.
' Hello! I am Leviathan. ' The white she-wolf smiled.' And you two are...? ' An entertained rumble rose in the male's chest; his eyes had taken on that sinister sheen of curiosity they got whenever he observed someone new. It was not a pleasant feeling to be the one being observed, though Leviathan didn't seem to mind. She gave him a long look - Scáth remained unaffected by her appraising stare - before turning her hazel gaze to Kiyoko.
"Féile, titim sneachta. I am Scáth."
Scáth did not introduce Kiyoko; another of his quirks. One could call it respectful, letting the other canine speak for herself, and decide whether or not to share her identity, and maybe - long ago - that had been the Dutch Shepherd's view. Now, however, Scáth's current reason was no more than habit.

[/blockquote]

OOC: Yup, you may have noticed by now that Scáth enjoys nicknaming others ^^ The nicknames are fairly consistant, too; hence the fact that they're flattering for females xD FYI, 'Féile, titim sneachta' is Irish (as is Scáth). If you're interested in its meaning, look it up on Google translate.

Still laying with her abdomen pressed into the soft grasses that layered the field, her tail slowly shifting from side to side, she thought about the Metnal pack leader again when the brute mentioned her. Although the queen had barely said two words to Kiyoko, she followed the fae around where ever she went except on the quite frequent occasions when Kiyoko wandered off into other territories. In her mind, the outings with the queen were a mutual agreement. She didn't need to speak to Kiyoko for her to assume they were making a connection. One that ran deep in her blood.
After a moment of thought, she took in a deep inward sigh ready to tell the brute of all their exploring and adventures they had together. But instead of words coming from her maw, a shocked gasped escaped and quicker than anyone could have expected his lazy loaf to move, she was behind the male. Totally forgetting about her other 'scent', when the fae approached and spoke, Kiyoko nearly lost her mind. This spot of fear passed as quickly as it came. For this fae that approached was the same colour as she was! How exciting! With her posterior wriggling once again, she danced up to the odd smelling canine, wishing she had a stick or other form of toy to offer the lass.
"Oh my, Oh my! What a pretty colour you are, just like me..... You think we're related?! I've never met any of my real family before, it could be true, yup." She placed her rump on the ground, completing the triangle of canines with her head slightly raised, tongue still slightly hanging from the side of her maw, giving of an apparent proud pose of her newly realized possibility. She sat there for a moment or two like that before the thought finally crossed her mind that the new fae did not know her name, how rude of Miss Kiyoko! "Oh! I'm Kiyoko. Hey, hey, have you been rolling around in dead animals or something 'cuz you smell kinda weird! Not like us, no sir-ree." She did not ask the question rudely or with any form of sour, it was a simple question coming from a simple minded creature. One that did not understand species separation in canines, to her, they were all the same. So it only made sense that this fae did something to make herself smell odd.

Leviathan layed down with a sigh of relief. She hadn`t noticed before, how tired she was. She now kept her eyes on the white dog. She watched her lay down, seeing that she and Leviathan weren`t very different from each other. She smiled when she heard the dog named Scath talk. Usually she didn`t like nicknames, but this time, she was okay with it. She smiled again.
Leviathan couldn`t do anything but shrug wehn Kiyoko talked about her family and if they were related. Maybe... I don`t really think so... You see, i am from the lands that are cold and white... I am an Arctic wolf... She almost laughed when Kiyoko asked her about the smell. I don`t know, maybe it`s my species that smells like that. Leviathan sniffed up a rabbit from forest behind her. So, what do you guys eat, she hurried to ask. She was getting hungry a bit, because the running in the forest made her feel like she hadn`t eaten for ages. She hoped that the rabbit won`t go too far.
