After the human slaughter some of each side wandered alone, some in shock and some unsure of their next course. The Barzakh Pack was formed by some of these neutral wanders only a month after the slaughter. The pack lived Alpha-less for nearly two years before Typhoon wandered into the lands after being deceived by the Metnal Alphess, taking it upon himself to be the leader of this neutral pack.
Shortly afterwards, Typhoon appointed his old friend Silas to the Beta position of the Barzakh pack. Silas happened to run across what was left of the Elysian pack and a merger of the two packs began to take place.
