[bg=666666][atrb=width,400,true][atrb=background,http://i50.tinypic.com/154w1vp.jpg] The vulpine was getting quite lonely. Nothing was really the same after the humans were exterminated. No more food scrapes, and no more new toys. He missed that, but none the less, humans still tried to hunt him for his fur. One time he only barely survived because of that. Forever had this vulpine wanted to travel alone-that is until he met the Barzakh pack. They accepted him as a healer, but that was it. He began missing the feeling of a fury creature walking next to him. He had missed the warmth of a friend walking right next to him.
Abraxes sat next to the Gekido River. The red Fox was watching the fish swim by, sometimes even with its friends. Black paws splashed the water, but that had only made his face wet. The vulpine jerked the other way. He wasn't even hungry, but then he heard a small bird chirping in the branches. Now He was hungry, but was too frustrated to eat.

Doidle quite liked the river that ran along the edge of the Barzakh territory. Not only were there boundless amounts of food and adventure to be had here, but as the river ran along or into all the pack territories, you could sometimes be lucky enough to fall upon trespassers. And falling upon individuals who stepped out of their line was one of her favourite things to do. So she could be found along this body of water flowing towards the ocean more often than not. Only venturing to other parts of the land when necessary. Or when the entertainment value that the river offered seemed to be dwindling.
Most made the assumption that Doidle was entirely too small to be much of a threat. And in the beginning, this was true. But Doidle was quick and flexible. She knew these lands inside and out. If there ever was trouble brewing in her presence that she couldn't convince verbally to turn on it's heels, she could make it to the rest of her pack, the rest of the warriors and the head honchos before the threat could even think of making it half way through the Charon Forest.
Doidle cackled to herself as she thought of the look on a rival pack members face as it would see the hoard of Barzakh meeting them before they even suspected the small toy fox terrier mix to even reach additional help. To validate her imaginings, she approached a short shrub that rested near the river, barking and nipping at it, pretending it to be the great Queen Erida. 'Pah! Great Queen, my ass. I bet the vile creature would hide behind her stupid minions, watching them get killed off one by one by me!', Doidle thought to herself, growling.
Then, the small mutt caught a scent. Excitement filled her body as she imagined once again of approaching the intruder and scaring them off. Her stance changed as her small muscles tensed under her skin, her docked tail raised high, bursting into a run. Just as suddenly as her offensive posture released itself, it disappeared as she realized the scent was all too familiar. That of someone who belonged in the territory. Not necessarily angry with Abraxes, more so with the fact that this was not who she was hoping it would be, Doidle growled menacingly at the small fox as she approached, snapping the words out of the maw.
"What are you doing out here? You shouldn't be here, healer."

[bg=666666][atrb=width,400,true][atrb=background,http://i50.tinypic.com/154w1vp.jpg] Abraxes lifted his head to see the Barzarkh warrior, Doidle standing near the clearing, What's the point anyway? We're full of herbs and nobody's sick. Theirs nothing to do but mope." He growled. Doidle was tough, but small; so was he. Just slightly smaller. The vulpine looked over at the dog, exited, but well hidden. A motionless face had hidden a small smile. Doidle was pretty strong, he'd knew; she was agile. Abraxes still though nothing of Metnal pack, they were right and wrong. Dog shouldn't wipe out the entire human race! Maybe chase 'em off. He wouldn't care anyway.
The fox finally got up. He showed th e hidden smile, and tilted his head. What did they do when they had free time? He thought, probably scouting or training. It was every canine's job to scout. At least he thought it was. No major health concerns were exhibited in most dog's yet. No matter, he was constantly on the job, but not today. Nobody suffered any sickness, or injuries yet today. Not that he knew of.
It wasn't often that the vulpine would find a trespasser would come into Barzarkh territory, but sometimes they would. Warriors would just chase them off anyway. Small or big, didn't matter Doidle proved her point. Doidle was agile but feisty. She was also very tough. He wouldn't stand very much of a chance if Doidle would decide to attack him. None the less, Abraxes would agree. HE should be looking for hurt warriors, but just isn't in a very happy mood during this part of the day. occ//Yay! Hi Doidle

Doidle appeared to listen intently to Abraxes words, but she always appeared this way. Ears always raised high on her head, constantly twitching, following the sounds around her. Her tail was always held as high as it could be carried. Her small muscles always twitching just under her skin, looking as if she was always on the verge of being ready to bolt in any direction away from whatever was in her way.
Although she appeared skiddish, this simply wasn't the case. The energy coursing through her body was waiting for it's chance to lash out. Even in her sleep she could be seen twitching and running towards imaginary creatures.
Her eyes darted back and forth past Abraxes, pinpointing sounds. Then her brain quickly determined that the soft rustles and vocalizations were nothing to be concerned over.
Doidle narrowed her pupils on the small fox in front of her as his finished his words. "Mope?...MOPE? Whateryoutalkin'bout!? Her words coming out in a fast jumble, with her tongue tripping over each syllable. "There's danger to be had errywhere. Filthy Mental hidin' behind erry tree, waitin' fer some poor soul to start moping around before they make their attack. Then poof! Yer lunch." Her brows furrowed and her eyes darted around, suspicious of her surroundings. Her muscles clearly quivering under her pelt, believing every word her mouth spoke.

The fox sighed, "Well what canin eats a mopey fox? I'm all fur and too squishy." He puffed out his chest, as if to prove his point. The vulpine winked, suddenly a tad more happy now, Doidle's pep talk encouraged him somewhat, as well when she she said 'Poof'. Funny word, at least he thought it was. Abraxes wasn't really kidding from the start, but then noticed how he had gotten Doidle angry at 'moping'. It wasn't very pleasant to have a very optimistic fox around this peppy canine. He wouldn't be surprised if she started yelling at him again for complaining, this, after all, was Barkzakh pack. He was the healer. Doidle was the warrior.
The sun beat down on his fur, it wasn't that hot, but it made him warm. Abraxes smiled, a gleeful look on his face, yet Doidle had scared him a little bit, but he didn't mind, Doidle was always tough. The vulpine's red and orange pelt was heating up quite quickly, but since the river would splash his fur every so often, it wasn't such a big problem. His black pupils scanned the surrounding, a little paranoid due to the dog next to him saying things that the Metnal pack would do, but Abraxes kept his cool, resisting the urge to push his back hair up.

When the fox spoke, it nearly scared Doidle out of her skin. She sprung into the air, her small form twisting to face the vulpine. Every hair along her spine stood on it's end and a shrill growl rolled from her throat. With her being such a jumpy little canine, it wasn't surprising that she missed nothing in her surroundings.
Her breath calmed, she glared at the small fox, then started moving her legs in wide slow steps towards Abraxes, encircling him. "Oh, they don't care 'bout that, Healer. Whether yer a bony little terrier or a scrumptious Labrador, they's eat you up! I've heard some of the stupid dogs in that place be 40 foot high! They swallow you whole!". To emphasize her point, she quickly lunged at the small fox, snapping her jaw wildly near his face before leaning back on her haunches, grinning widely, quite proud of her antics.
Feeling a little more comfortable with her surroundings, she allowed herself to relax, tongue now lolling out the side of her maw. "Don't matter no way. They may be big, but dey cowards. You n' I could take them out all by ourselves, no help. We'd be famous. Have the run of the island and everyone would have to do what we say. Stupid Metnel... " Doidle was now lost in her own imagination. Picturing Metnal blood shed by her paw, everyone congratulating and worshipping her.
