The lands were supposed to be peaceful for eternity, or at least, that's what the elders told the pups. Not one pack needed more land, nor did they require fighting as a show of power. No, that's what the meetings were for. Prey was high, packs ran strong, and hope was in the air for every young wolf looking to win themselves a new bride or groom. But that was before wolves disappeared. They were presumed dead, or lost in their own mind, so they weren't hunted. The idea of dying finding a fallen comrade was not savory to anyone.
But they weren't dead. Oh no.
They were finding lovers in other packs, and creating a halfbreed spawn. Eventually numbers grew large, and pups grew bold, so they sought refuge in the pure bloods' packs. They were shunned, the multitude and diversity of traits far too unnatural for any sensible leader to accept. In truth, the pups looked like each species combined. They were freaks, hated by their own brethren. So they retreated to lands for a while. Now they're back, and vengeance is boiling within their blood, running thick through the veins of a pack. They want acceptance, and they want it now. Will the first war amongst packs break out? Will acceptance be found? But most of all, who will tell the tale of when Time Stood Still?
