It was absolutely amazing to the adolescent how many places there were upon the island that she had yet to discover. She had wandered from the beach of the northwest that most were still unaware existed to the south here into Barzakh lands. The young hybrid was smart enough to stick to loner lands as she weaved her way passed the other canines that called Diripio home. That is, until now. Stilt-like limbs stretched over the rocky bank, dainty paws cautiously choosing each stone in order to avoid any loose or jagged rocks that may cause her to plunge into the rapids or injure herself. Her small head was held even with her shoulder blades upon a scrawny neck, over sized auds stuck out to either side as they dissected every noise from the forest with care. Although her posture screamed submission from her head carriage to the lax tail hanging between pointy hocks, her slender maw was split into a canid grin. As usual of the fun loving fae a long red muscle hung limply from the side of her maw, bouncing in the breeze as her lofty trot carried her over the terrain.
She had been following this same river for a couple of days now, feeding from the variety of crustaceans and fish lurking in it's depths, but only now was the terra beginning to transform. The rocks became smaller and smaller as she skipped along until it seemed that the large rocks had been pulverized into pure white sands. Amber orbs glistened in delight as the end of the river came into view as it plunged into the crystal clear ocean. Her quick pace turned into bounds, her lean frame bouncing up and down in the soft sands. A thin tail whipped to and fro in excitement as her warn paws splashed into the surf as it licked the earth's edge. Cool and refreshing it had given a new burst of energy to the young female sending her zooming down along it's border. Auds fell flat against her skull, tongue lolling from her maw as the crisp sea air smashed against her speeding frame, small white paws barely making contact with the earth below. She suddenly twisted into a U turn running back the way she came and then another swift pirouette sent her streaming into the ocean. Up onto her hind legs she jumped, bounding side to side as if she were dancing within the blue liquid. A feminine bark bursting continuously from her throat at the waves as they came crashing down upon her red and gray frame.

A Red Fox, unaware to the intruder in the territory, walk towards the glistening beach, he wanted some plants and herbs, so that he can replenish on supplies for the Barzakh pack. Quietly and quickly, he cantered over to the large rocks were he usually found some herbs, but there was only a small, green sprout. Abraxes wasn't unhappy about this, luck is luck, and this wasn't a lucky day. He walked over the soft and slippery sand, and neared a small cave. He quickly searched his way into the shallow cave, but of course, nothing was there. Of course there's nothing here, its simply too dark! He thought to himself. Abraxes exited the cave and went further along the shore, where he found a unfamiliar canine, quite large, unlike himself. The fox ran over the water whilst at the same time, yelling at the dog, "Hey you! Who are you and why are you in this territory?"

The consistent splash of paws against the surf were blocked by her own frame smashing into the rising waves. She wasn't quite sure how long the male voice had been calling out behind her but it had suddenly filled her receptors during a rare moment of calm seas. She was unable to make out much but muffled noises due to being so water logged. The fae's lanky frame spun around to face the approaching fox, her muscles freezing for a moment. She had run into more of these creatures in the last few days then she ever had before. The posture taken by the young female may have been unnerving, her tail stiff straight behind her, feminine head held high with her auds pushed forward to their fullest extent. Rounded orbs locked on the fox, lips tightening in a tense fashion to match the muscles shimmying under her pelt. Without warning her body was thrust forward, auds flapping as best as they could in a german shepherd sort of way, a smile stretching her features and allowing her tongue to float upon the air currents. It was a new friend!
As she approached the fox she dug her claws into the thick, went sand in an attempt to avoid ramming into him, water splashing all around her as she skidded to a stop right before him. She had remembered what happened when that white dog hit the other fox my accident the other day. She got bit by a mean old rat! No rats would get her now! Her crown lowered well below shoulder level, her tail whipping wildly behind her sending water droplets spraying all around them. The silly grin stayed plastered to her features as excited oculars locked upon the vulpine. "Did you say you wanted to play?!" the words seemed to trip over each other in her excitement.

Angered, the vulpine curled his lips, showing sharp, dagger-like teeth . He puffed himself to his full size and fluffed out his chest to make they body look bigger. Still, it was no use, this canine was still bigger than him. The droplets splashed the orange face, every so often, he would wipe himself with a furry black paw. The ears flattened against the head, and the muscles tensed, "No, I don't want to play, and you are in Barzakh territory, you are trespassing"! Then suddenly the fox had an idea pop into his head ; I wonder...If this dog could be a member...
A wary smile glued on his face, "I could see your potential dog, would you want to be a Barzarkh pack member?" The words went smoothly out of his mouth. Small claws dug into the wet sticky sand. The hot sun bore into his skin, a long tongue rolled out of the mouth, panting. He took a small sip of the salty water. Waiting for the answer, Abraxes at down on the wet sand.

[Hope You Don't Mind. Kind of Bored. Can Butt me out if you want.]
White paws stepped lightly onto the sand beaches of Cypsum Beach. This seemed to be the only place in the territory - besides the woods, with no doubt of course - without much disturbance from the rest of the pack it self. But today, he seemed to be meeting a couple other members - at least, so he very well thought they would be members, considering the fact that they were her. If they were intruders, then he could get rid of them quickly. But that was besides the point. - frisking around on the beach. The fox he could have sworn he had seen before somewhere else in the area, though he knew not where. Wasn't he the pack's healer or something. The other, on the other paw, the large brute did no recognize.
It had started as a walk for the large-sized black and white Husky, the red on his back that was normally un-seeable towards the naked eye glimmering slightly. It looked like that of a maroon color, if he could have guessed. His oddly colored eyes had been glancing strangely towards the area around him as he began to follow the woods out here, having been so tired lately that he wanted to drop. This reason, he could not guess much of. Maybe it was because he had been exploring so much that today was the day that his limbs and muscles finally decided to feel the pain of it all at once. But then again, pain is weakness leaving the body. So the male decided that he's take a day off to relax and look around the beach for any items that could have washed up. Who knew he'd find two other canines instead.
He had came only moments after the fox had, he could have guessed by the female's questions. He could almost laugh at the smaller's response, though never knew that the healer could be the one to also ask others to join the pack. He thought that only alpha's and higher ranks such as could allow others to join. Then again, he hadn't really been in a pack up until a few weeks ago. So he knew little to nothing about such things that went on in a daily life of a pack. So, momentarily for a distance he watched, temped to begin snarling and the unknown female. He held him self back, though, and sat at some rocks for a few moments, unnoticed, before standing slightly, making a slow pace towards the other two, of whom were several yards away. The male was almost surprised he could still hear such as this, though he kept that in mind for later as he approached silently and cautiously towards the others.

Black lined lips pursed into a canid pout, the ecstatic aura nearly jumping from her pelt in electrical charges swiftly faded. Over sized auds lay back against her aerodynamic skull, brows furrowing to cast shadows upon light brown optics. How disappointing, it seems all of these cat like dogs were no fun. Didn't anybody let loose and just have a good time any more? Did she ever miss her friend from so long ago. A single syllable escaped her in a low, sharp voice in an attempt to hide the heartbreak, "Oh." Her mind swiftly traced back, sorting through the files stored away within the creases of her brain. Pictures of how things use to be seemed to flash before her eyes right before her. The days when she could play and cause mischief with her very best friend and nothing in the world could stop them...or damper their mood for that matter.
The smaller animal's next words tugged her auditories forward as if they were a puppeteer yanking unevenly at her ears. She had never been part of a pack before, neither had her mother. A surge of excitement roared through her veins, muscles fighting to control the internal outburst. But as the happy feeling finally reached her toes it seemed to vanish, her crown tilting slightly to the left. Would she really want to be in such a pack? Heck, this guy couldn't even have fun! He sure looked like a furry fun puppy to play with, boy was mother nature wrong when they created these crabby foxes. Wrinkles formed along the bridge of her nose, twisting the dark digit in a crooked fashion. "I...I don't know about that." The juvenile quickly dismissed the fact that she was trespassing and decided to not mention such.
Her gaze dropped from the vulpine as she began considering what pack life would actually be like. Briar was the only one she had ever really spent time with, him and that big black crazy wolf. Not quite a pack really. Movement was captured within her peripheral vision as her mind flip flopped over the idea. Inky pools contracted and expanded in an attempt to focus upon the approaching canine. The excitement that she had felt upon seeing the first intruder, or so she thought of them as for ruining her fun, did not appear this time around. She carefully assessed the black and white brute's posture through a single narrowed eye. It was quickly decided that she should not attempt play with him as he seemed like he was some head honcho of sort in the area. A single step was back tracked adding just that much more distance between her and the others.

The red fox sighed, "Yet, another rejection, " He thought. He got up, and replied, "Alright then, if you're not going to be part of the pack then get out. We don't need loners coming here." The small body started to prance away, in spite of the vulpine's guilty conscience, it took a lot of effort not to look back, and disappeared into one the small, ans shallowcaves. Then a force suddenly stopped him, the guilt that rested on his heart was killing him, almost literally, Abraxes was suddenly deep in thought, I shouldn't have ran away from that mutt. Shouldn't I?
An urge swept through his small body and the legs were running as fast as they were carrying him, with the thick-furred tail wagging, and his her perked, he charged right at the German-Shepard mix, drenching himself in his tick-coated fur, "Who wants to play?" He said enthusiastically.

"I take it we are only talking?" the brute muttered, though seemingly loud enough for the others to hear as well.
His ears twitched slightly at their conversation as he stopped a few yards away, his breathing soft and slim. Of course, he held back a chuckle as the female rejected the small fox's offer of joining, as it well fatedly seemed. It only seemed somewhat anatural; after all, many canines living around were either afraid of others, decided to live with either their own kin that they had known since pups, or decided to just live amoungst them selves in fear of being killed by one larger than them selves. The other chance could have been just wanting for the right time to strike, to have the role of head dog. Of course, this female seemed not of the last one, maybe more of the first. Though he couldn't tell which by just looking.
When the female made a move away, the brute did the same, though more or less side stepping towards the fox instead. Of course, he was only to chuckle when the fox charged to play with the female, his ears twitching slightly as he decided more or less to only watch. He was not much of a playing type animal. If playing captivated of protecting your self against all odds and the other sort of things, then yes, he would be. But other than that, he'd rather be killed than doing a such thing as playing. It was a natural thing for him, something such as playing and wrestling with others. Sure, he did it when he was a small pup with his litter mates - though more roughly than usual - that was surely only a back then thing, correct?
Jake made a slight move to get away from the water and as not to be thrumped upon accidently - or purposly - by the other two canines. His oddly colored eyes watched wearily as he went back a few yards, his ears pricked slightly. Listening was one of his better elements, if not his best. His sense of smell seemed much larger, though, if only by a little bit. The brute watched caalmly and quietly, as if he were to disturb something if he made any sound. Then again, he had been trained to be that way back then. Had he not?

The fox had froze in his spot when the beta's voice was heard in the distance, even though Abraxes couldn't hear very clearly of what he said. He just hoped it wasn't a order. He walked towards the canine and stood in front of him a few feet away, he then sat and in a assertive way, he replied,"Er, uh..I was just talking to this female as if she wanted to join the pack, thats all." The vulpine didn't know how long he stood their, or how much he saw. It made him embarrassed just to think about it.
He had not seen this fellow very often, but the distinguishable marks were visible. The brown and blues eyes, the semi-thick fur. Surely this was the packs beta. He seemed a bit irritated. The red fox shuffled his black paws in the mud-like sand under the water. It got into his claws, but it didn't really matter, the water would wash it away anyway.
He didn't usually play , much, but this seemed to be a special occasion. This female dog looked like she wanted to play, but his reaction was probably the wrong choice to make, that made him feel unbearably guilty. The vulpine tried to look as cheerful while waiting for the beta to answer.

[bg=666666][atrb=width,400,true][atrb=background,http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i302/PittyLova/NaveaBack.png] The sudden change in the lupine's posture pulled her auds forward and split her slender jaw into a large grin. The now dripping tail swayed left to right slowly gaining speed as the fox approached. Without warning her muscles exploded sending her front end into a play bow. Water flew from her now spastic whip as it beat against the atmosphere. A low growl bubbled from her agape maw, teeth bared playfully. Her front limbs slipped forward, bringing her that much closer to the fox when her playmate suddenly turned off into the opposite direction. Her head tilted slightly, rounded optics watching closely as the fox approached the black and white canine, Furry brows stitched together in curiosity as she wondered why he had such a sudden change of heart. There was nothing wrong with playing, now was there? Young Navea surely didn't think so.
She stayed frozen in her play bow as the smaller creature explained the scenario to who was assumed to be of higher rank. Two radars stood locked upon the pair of males attempting to decipher what was going on. A cooked grin slowly erupted upon her maw, the corners of her lips tugging skyward. A quick ripple of muscle under her fur sent her into a pounce toward the others. Her front paws landed with a giant splash, automatically skidding toward them creating her own form of a wave. She was determined to get them to play with her, or chase her off which ever came first.

It was sudden, the large dog had tackled him into the warm waters. He didn't mind, the vulpine tried to push her off, but the young canine was to heavy. None the less, he squirmed under it's weight, blurring the water with sand grains. He finally escaped a paw, then the other, finally getting out of her grasp and stood in the water. With its front legs down low, but slipped into the water., He wasn't really concerned, and his tail was wagging high in the air. Abraxes lunged at her, and tried to pin her down under his small body. Although he knew that she could easily overpower him, he did it anyway. He wondered why other canines wouldn't play with him anymore, this was the most fun he had in months. Not minding Jake, the beta, he only thought, "I don't really care if I'm not that young, this is fun!" Nothing would ruin this moment, at least not now.

A giant smile seemed permanently etched upon her maw during the entire ordeal with the fox. It had been ages since she last played, well, since her and her bestest friend got separated. She surely missed him still, but this was still quite a relief compared to staying in the shadows and avoiding all canids at any cost. As the smaller animal pounced at her she easily succumbed to his attack. Stilt like limbs gave way knocking her lean body to its side with a splash. A deep growl rumbled, vibrating within her throat as the gentle waves crashed over the pair of rough housing dogs. She squirmed under the light weight, twisting her neck to an angle allowing slender jaws to open and gently snap shut upon his large auditory. With just enough pressure to hang onto him she pulled at the triangular appendage lightly, a long thin tail thwapping soggily against the ocean liquid. Perhaps she was wrong to assume that this was no place for her. Maybe it would be nice to be with a pack for the first time in her short life. This little fox was rather fun, even if he did have a distinct odor of herbs.

[bg=666666][atrb=width,400,true][atrb=background,http://i50.tinypic.com/154w1vp.jpg] The fox fell with a splash, but then accidentally drank some sea water. Regardless, he still splashed around, making his fur wet and soggy. The thick, bushy tail that trailed behind him was heaver with water, even so with his fur. Panting, the vulpine ran back to the dog, still knowing what her name was. This was the first time he'd been playing for years, though it still never got old. Abraxes tried to jumped upon her, but she was too tall for him now, and couldn't get the energy to jump again.
Still with a smiled glued on his face, he finally rasped, "Okay, I'm all worn out-you win" He stood their, trying to catch his breath. The sun was bearing down on his thick-coated fur. The water should had helped, or else the fox would be steaming hot. He was kinda old, so energy rushed out of him quickly. Abraxes cast a sorry smile, knowing the this young canine would want to play just a little longer, but no, his old bones were starting to creak. None the less, he still stood, staring back at the female dog.

A light-hearted giggle erupted from the fae at the site of the splashing fox. She was oddly comfortable with this brute. Perhaps it was because of his small stature? Or the fact that he actually decided play would be something he'd participate in. No matter the reasoning she was quite pleased with his antics. A broken growl huffed from her slender maw in what could be deciphered as a canid chuckle when the vulpine attempted to pounce on her leggy frame. The long, thin whip slashed the atmosphere behind her causing the wind to whistle in reaction at the fox's apology. She would go on for days of non-stop playing if she had the option, however was quite understanding when the older dogs couldn't keep up with her. Navea felt fortunate to have an opportunity for such festivities.
In sync both her top and lower limbs buckled, slowly pushing her into the surf, allowing the breaking waves to lick at her brown pepper marked pelt. Large, bat-like auds stood at full attention listening closely to the small fox. The nervous, standoffish gaze she had held during the first moments of meeting was now soft, gleaming with a glint of joy and refreshment. The feminine maw split allowing her tongue to loll from it's side in a calm grin, her warm breath coursing heavily over the moist, red carpet. After a long moment of catching her breath, a sweet voice chimed toward him, though it was obviously laced with the mischievous undertone it constantly held, "You're awfully fun for a fox, you know?." A quick bout of laughter rolled at her own words before continuing, "So Mr. Foxy, what is it that you do here anyhow?" As the question was given she tilted her head to the side in anticipation of his answer.
