We have almost been open a month now and I must say that I am very pleased with how the site is turning out. In my past experience it has been very difficult to gain members with brand new role plays. We are very blessed to have so many extremely talented people amongst us. In our short time there has been quite a bit of changing on the site from skin after skin, to a complete new layout. This layout will be with us for some time now and I will be simply working on tweaking it to become better and better. One of our biggest new features that some of you may have not seen is the Diripio Market. There is now a store where you can purchase a variety of things from multicolored names, custom titles, the ability to pick things about offspring such as gender and color, as well as other items. Your money, known as bones, can be used to purchase from the graphic studios and can also be gifted. Each post you make earns you 5 bones, and winning contests, advertising, creating new characters all earn you bonus bones. You can find the details about bones here. We have our first contest up now, and the dead line for submission is February 1, 2010. We are looking for a new mini banner and are hoping our members can help us out! You may submit up to 2 banners by 2/1/2010. Just for submitting you will receive 5 bones. Third place receives 10 bones, second place gets 25 bones, and first place wins 50 bones. Additional details can be seen here. As with any new role play we have had members sign up and then fall out of view. I want to encourage those of you to come by and check out how things are going. I know it's hard to stick with a new site as it's not as active as the older forums may be, but I think that you will be pleasantly surprised at how active we have become in such a short period of time. If there is reason other than not having somebody to RP with when you first signed up for your departure please do PM Erida to discuss the reasoning and how we can make the site better for you. We are striving to make this a member oriented site and the more we understand what you want to see the better. We will be having an activity check soon, so please do keep your eyes out for this. In regards to activity I am hoping to see it continue to grow. I do want to now note that it is expected that the staff, and alphas do post at least three times a week unless otherwise worked out with Erida. Alphas are expected to be very active as they are to be the role models for their packs. Without active alphas new members will not be interested in joining your ranks. Once this newsletter is sent this rule will be in effect. You will receive one warning if it seems that you are not active enough. As many know I don't like to have to get on people's backs about rules and activity levels, but it is not fair to other members who are active and are unable to have the higher positions as somebody less active as already taken the rank.
