The scent was strong, distinctive but yet not too overpowering. The scenery was better than one could imagine, so colourful, bright and calming. Lou knew this was a good place to come to relax. Her long appendages moved swiftly through the bed for flowers and they brushed her with the slightest touch. This was heaven. Loping about Lou did not have a care in the world; the area was silent apart from the whisper of breeze now and then and the sound of her breathing. All around there was just a burst of colours, and scents, they overpowered the senses. Letting out a soft sigh Lou burst into a run. Her appendages moves swiftly and silently through the flowers and her muscles rippled under her white and grey pelt, as she moves almost like she was floating on air. None of the floral beneath her paws were being trampled or broken from her strides, just slightly bent. A bird burst into song as it flew overhead and a huge grin spread across her maw, she was content. Watching the bird, she became slightly more aware of her surroundings, and something made her hackles rise. Slowing slightly, auds pricked and forwards she trotted air scenting when she slammed to a halt. Someone was there, someone was watching her, and someone knew that she was not supposed to be here. Her muzzle drew back over her enamels, exposing them for show, and low hiss ran up her throat and escaped her teeth harshly. Head lowered Lou probed for the one watching her. [bg=black][atrb=width,400,true] Laying on his back with paws touching his chest slightly, he was dead to the world. Tiny soft cyan coloured lights trickled among the leaves above him the way a reflection of water made possible by the bright sun would. He wasn't thinking of anything in particular, just wasting time as the world passed him by. Or was he flowing with the world? Was he as big of a part of it's design as the trees that loomed over him? Would he...
The beginning of his epiphany was stopped short as the natural smells around him were touched lightly by the scent of another canine. Lazily rolling to his side then propping himself up on his feet, he stretched his front legs out as far as they could reach, arching his back inward, taking a step, then doing the same with his back legs before giving a quick hard shake to remove any debris from his pelt. Without another second wasted, he moved in the direction of the canine as a slow graceful trot.
A smirk crossed his maw when she came into view. She was larger than he was, a wolf. A beautiful mixture of grays, blacks and whites. Beautiful. This was the only thought that really stuck in his mind. Everything was beautiful to him, always. 409 was gifted with a constant feeling of joyful bliss since the explosion in the laboratory. A gift that he was able to transfer to others with a single thought and a variety of glowing coloured lighting. Although he loved inflicting these feelings on other canines, he never imposed on what they wanted unless he felt it necessary. Unless, of course, it was just to give them a taste of what could happen in his presence.
His trot didn't slow as the approached the fae and to her, now, he appeared as if he were a perfectly normal dog. No bright colours encircling his body. "Well, hello there, gorgeous. What brings you to this exquisite place? His face showed nothing but pure ecstasy and his eyes never left hers. He thought for a moment to wrap a magenta beam of light gently around her paw, to send a few glorious shivers down her spine, to make her heart beat a little faster. Deciding against it, he simply placed his rear on the ground and flicked his eyes over her beautiful pelt, thinking of how he could make it even better while he waited for a reply.

Waiting tensed, Lou’s back arched slightly, she was unsure, she was injured and she was afraid. The scent that caught her reminded her of the time back at the cabin, where she encountered a human friend dog, she shuddered at the memory and winced at the pain that resided in her. Light blue orbs silted as another canine came into view, just as she had guessed, a dog. Lou grumbled and waited. The black and white dog was calm and seemed no intention to hurt her, Lou relaxed a bit after he sat. His posture was calm and relaxed. She shook her head and rose from her slightly defensive crouch. The fae flinched at his words ”Curiosity, wanderings, loneliness.” the wolf answered the dog in a firm tone. She padded forwards a few paces to get a better view of the dog, then too sat, her banner waving lightly behind her “Who‘s asking?” she replied once more. The glint in the dog’s eye made the wolf feel more nervous, she would be able to take him, if she had to, but in her injured state, (a badly swollen shoulder, a large bite wound on her left flank and a cut forepaw. Something about him made her wary, but she wouldn’t put her paw on it. [bg=666666][atrb=width,400,true][atrb=background,http://i450.photobucket.com/albums/qq227/Pideaux/RPG/409/Untitled-8.jpg] With his head arched slightly upwards, giving the appearance of complete laziness, and his tail ever so slightly waving across the debris beneath it, 409 was completely relaxed. Even around this new canine, he felt no worries, as if he had known her for years and they were the best of friends. A smirk still crossed his maw until the word 'loneliness' was mentioned. His eyes widened slightly, and a frown appeared. Now he looked more like every other canine, the worry overtaking him for a moment. "Lonely? Aw, well, we can't have that. You've got me now, sweetie."
Noticing her unrelaxed state and injured shoulder, 409 decided to impose on her. If nothing else, his power would make her feel more comfortable and the pain would be eased as long as he kept the colours on her pelt. A soft yellow glowing ribbon weaved it's way from 409s paw, through the grasses, much like a snake would, before it lightly touched the wolfs paw. Hesitating for a second before spiraling up her leg, turning the whole appendage a glowing bright yellow colour that seemed to be breathing, feeding off her fur. He didn't release his power to the full extent, only giving the wolf a slight feeling of joy and blocking out the receptors in her brain that told her to feel the pain in her leg. His eyes closed and his jaw parted, a thick pink tongue sliding out between his canines. He was able to feel exactly what feeling he was imposing on her body and, boy, did it feel good. "Me?..", he said almost subconsciously. "409. Henka. Healer." Before he let his power get out of control, he released it from the wolf. Only a soft glow remaining on her shoulder to keep the pain at bay, but removing all the joyful feelings, returning both of them to a state of normalcy. "And you?"
The smirk returned to his face as he wondered how she would handle what he had just done.

Watching the male dog curiously, Lou was not sure what to make of him. He was completely unfazed by being encountered by a stranger and who is a wolf too. Many dogs will try and push forwards but most of the time the wolf would win. But this dog was calm as ever like if he had know Lou for a long time. Once again Lou’s blue orbs slited at the male who spoke. Her banner flicked uneasily behind her rump, she was not feeling relaxed at all. She snorted when he spoke about having him now. She does not have him, and neither do he have her. Her muzzle twitched wanting to show her uneasiness. Lou sat there and watched him, nothing about his posture changed but yet there was something, some unforeseen force that made the hackled on her neck rise. She spotted it and gasped, a coloured smoke like thing was moving away from the dog and approaching the wolf, she shuffled uneasily more. Then when it made contact with her she moved her paw, but the body did not break. She jumped up from her position and moved back quickly, but the yellow colour was attached to her and making its way over her pelt. Lou growled and tried to get rid of the thing, but she could not feel it on her, yet it was having an effect on her feelings. The pain in her shoulder and flank where she was bitten were now numbing out and no longer a pain. Also a sensation was washing over her body and Lou resisted to fight the glow off. Instead her muscles relaxed and her mind cleared from the pain and fear she was feeling. Her curious eyes made their way back to the dog who was not at all fazed by this, he was the one doing it. I’m Lou. she said after watching the colours retreat and still be covered in the colours. She grinned and walked in a circle. [bg=black][atrb=width,400,true] Eyes were slightly more widened now as he waited for a retaliation or a snap of anger to come from the fae in front of him but the rest of his body remained relaxed. Tension wasn't something he was really able to experience anymore. He quickly realized that the wolfess had no intention of expressing anger and his tongue lolled out of his mouth, resting behind his right lower canines, eyes returning to their slitted state."Lou.", he sighed. "I like it. Is it short for something?"
He hardly waited for a reply before another question came to his mind. "Are you looking for anything in particular here, Lou?". Although he didn't quite care who wandered onto the Henka lands, because it only meant more company for the sociable brute, if there was a reason, he would still like to know if there was something she was searching for. After all, perhaps he could help. Or better yet, convince the wolfess to stick around for a while, if not forever. There was no one quite suited to take a real lead position in the pack yet. This was perfectly acceptable at the moment because there was nothing to fear and no guidance that needed to be given. The whole area was seemingly at peace right now. Far too many of it inhabitants just grateful to be free from the confounds of the laboratories. Soon enough, he imagined, there would be problems. Territories being claimed. Personalities clashing. So many of the canines on the island had been caged and tortured their whole lives. More than likely, most of them are going to turn out to be quite insane.
Suddenly, the brute started blinking rapidly, trying to bring himself back to reality, out of his head. This was one of the only side effects of the power he loved so much. Thinking about nonsense, random ramblings twirling in his head for hours at a time. He simply smiled at the fae as she walked around him, only his head moving with her body.

Lou’s tongue lolled out of her mouth as her feeling numbed, as did her odd feeling, she circled once more before settling back down in front of the dog. She hat on her haunches with her tassel wagging behind her. Yes, it is short for Louise. However, I prefer Lou. She said to him, now relaxing. Then she thought about his next immediate question. Not really, I was just walking about aimlessly, after more or less being shunned from my birth pack, well more like I took off after a brute slaughtered my parents! her tone got hard and cold at the last part of the sentence. Muzzle twitching and beginning to curl back at the memories of the huge wolf killing both of her parents before her eyes. She growled slightly then shuddered. She sighed and came back to reality. Sorry. she apologised for her behaviour. I are not related to the pack I was from and now am a loner, travelling from place to place looking for a pack to call me own. My parents were the Alphas of the pack, and I was next in line for the leadership, but out of fear that the Brute would kill me too, I took off.

[/b] Lou carried on. She then paused then looked around at her surroundings, her last encounter with a dog left her injured, but this dog was trying to help her, and Lou in her weakened form was accepting it. Maybe she could be able to join the pack that he was with, and be safe. However, she really wanted to get revenge on the wolf who ripped her pack apart. Lou sighed and looked at the black and white dog he was a nice canine. She threw a half grin before sitting up straight and flicking her auds. Her light blue orbs scanned the surrounding terrain, as she took it all in and tried to memorise it. So 409, enough about me, tell me a bit about you. She said to him, then still noticed a slight glow to het pelt yet, And what it was that you did to me to make the pain go away. she said curiously with a slight height to her tone. [bg=black][atrb=width,400,true]A small framed head shook slowly side to side, brows furrowing and a scowl crossed his features. Unfortunately for this brute, he was extremely empathetic. Stories like these touched his heart and this particular story angered him slightly. The fact that others could be so capable of such things made him always wonder if any of the species were really meant to be here. If they couldn't enjoy everything mother nature gave them as he did himself, they didn't deserve to walk her earth. Before he allowed his mind to get too ahead of himself, he finally peeled his eyes from the ground that rested just before the wolf faes feet and looked into her eyes. "That's pretty awful to say the least. They don't sound like they much deserve the life they were given. Using it for such things as that. You're far better off here. Although we do have our crazies, you can't expect everyone to be totally sane after what we went through." A light airy chuckle escaped his lungs as he recalled all the misfortunes most of the canines on this island hand to endure. Fortunately for 409, his time spent in the laboratories weren't near as bad as the others.
Another great quality of this canine was his ability to completely change his tone at the drop of a hat. Now the fae questioned him, asking simple things that required the brute to think little to none. Thinking too much could often lead to realizations he didn't exactly want. "Pitiful, old me? Oh, well, there is no great story of heroic bravery on my part. I was one of the fortunate canines that lived within the old laboratories. Pretty well my whole life has been lived in the state of bliss I just showed you." A huge grin crossed his features of he though of all the luck he had his whole life. It grew even bigger when she asked about his powers themselves. Cooing at the yellow light that seemed to arise from his tail much like a ghost would, he waved it in front of the pair, creating a variety of shapes. "Oh, this baby? My pride and joy. Although she is in no way useful in war, she is the definition of peace and love"
While he spoke, the flickering light interchanged colours, from magenta to cyan and back to yellow before it quickly disappeared into the air, small particles of it scattering and dying out. The sparkling lights had no effect on him since he was so used to them, but others were often put into a trance by their beauty. He expected the same would be true of the wolfess. His smile softened as his belly touched the ground, laying down. "You should really think about sticking around."

The dog did not seem happy at what she had told him about her past, but it was the truth and she had to live with it. Nothing and no one can change what has already happened. Her banner swayed gently behing her and her almost white eyes explored the surroundings as he spoke. It is a sad fact 409, but I have learned to ‘live and let die’ as they say. she was not sure if that was the right choice of words but the effect was there. Lou chuckled too at the remark about craziness Well craziness I can live with. she laughed with a large smile. She rose from where she was sitting and shuffled forwards a few steps, so she was even closer to the dog, the pain was almost forgotten, just a mere numb sensation now. She sighed softly and flicked her auds at the sound of birdsong nearby, as her tongue flopped out of her agape muzzle. The wolfess flinched at the thought of laboratories, she had heard about animals going in there and not lasting very long at all. Weird mutations and mutilations happened and some were born deformed. How can any animal endure a life like that? Well to be honest your life sounds al lot worse than mine. I cannot imagine what you went through while being in there to leave with your special ability. her eyes flicked and she nodded at the colourful projections of the brute. Lou was curious, the power that he had seemed to be used for good, and it did not seem to affect him in a bad very at all. He seemed quiet at ease with the effects, and with him being able to transfer; it onto another being was awesome. She watched the particles of colour appear from 409, but from where, inside or out, she did not know, then they changed color and disappeared. Do you have complete control of the powers you hold? Like where they emit from, the colours, patterns and where they go with the effects?! she said softly trying not to seem rude. She smiled when he said about sticking around, for she had grown to like this dog, and would not like to lose his friendship. She did not have any friends at all, and still had the genes of an alpha running through her, but she would not make it known, she will have to wait and see what happens.

OOC - Fair warning, this is going to be awful. XD
409 frowned slightly when he thought of the laboratories. But not so much because they were awful to him, because truth be told, they weren't. He was so laid back and relaxed and was doing so well with his 'treatments' that he had nearly free roam of the whole place on his last months there. He had been greeted in the hallways by the scientists. None reached down to pet them, but nearly all of them at least addressed him. He would admit though that what he had now was far better than the drugs... and the fact that he didn't have to deal with the painful withdrawls was a plus.
But, as could be expected, his smile returned when she questioned his beauties. He allowed himself to be overtaken by the glowing cyan colour, turning all the white on his body a soft flickering cyan. "There's nothing to it really. All I have to do is want it to happen, and it does. Whatever colour, whatever shape.. the intensity of the glow, the way it moves... even down to what kind of feeling it would inflict on others", he said proudly, sticking out his chest a little.
SEE I TOLD YOU! - This is what happens when I'm rushed <3 XD

He had been captured by humans and tested on, then given bunches of drugs and ended up being able to give an iridescent display of colours at will. She lowered the front of her body so she was laying in the sphinx position, her auds tilted backwards slightly, her banner brushing up dirt behind her, her jaws parted and a yawn escaped her muzzle. Compared to 409 she was just plain, boringly normal. Whatever she had gone through was nothing compared to him. Are there others like you, with powers? she asked watching him play about with his powers. If there was, then Lou would not fit in there, she was just an ordinary wolf, who had left her pack when she was younger. She would just have to keep on looking. As her Alpha instinct told her too. Lou knew she would not rest until she was able to settle into a back, and hold her rightful position as alpha, and find a mate, making a strong, respected pack.

A small frown formed on his face as he searched his mind for the correct answer to her question. He had ran across a few other canines with powers in the past. Of course none of which were quite like his own. And none of which he would have ever wished upon himself. Most of the powers seemed useless in anything but fighting. 409 saw this as uselessness period. No one should ever want to fight when the world had just so much to offer. It's not like there was a food shortage here, or even cramped territories. Which is why, he reckoned, things had been pretty mellow. But time would change that, he knew. Everyone was much too selfish for it not to.
Wandering once again, his mind was off exploring the meanings and ways of war for far too long before it remembered that a question had been asked. Again, he blinked rapidly, trying to clear his thoughts, smile returning. "There are. Many. Although most still haven't made themselves known. There are canines far more powerful than myself. Ones that can kill you in a blink of an eye if they saw fit. Others that can just screw with your mind so much that you can easily go insane. Either way, caution is a must anymore it seems." His smile had faded while he was speaking, trying to put off a more serious tone to the fae. But then it was back full force as he spoke his next words. "Of course that's not needed around me or really most of the canines that call these lands home. We are pretty well at peace with everything that had happened in the past"
After that, he wasn't really sure what to say. How does one really go about this...? Did he even have the right to suggest such a thing? Should there be some sort of meeting or would there be a probationary time if it didn't work out? He finally decided that no harm could be done with the suggestion. And if others were to dispute it, they could easily change their minds, right? "We still need someone to take charge. Right now, Henka is fine being a mindless confused ball of fluff, but I can imagine that eventually we will need someone to direct that fluff. Possibly sooner rather than later and it's probably best to place someone in that position well before we need it. Mainly so we can grow accustomed and learn to trust them." 409 was completely serious-faced while speaking. Although most of the time he was laid back, without a care in the world, he did take his pack, his family and his friends very seriously. Empathy swelled within his existence every time he heard a sob story. He truly was a caring canine. One always there to lend a shoulder to cry on. Or perhaps a bit of 409 medicine to make the pain a little less severe.
To make it perfectly clear to the wolfess of what exactly he was speaking of, he said, "If you're up to the challenge." , winking at her.
