The queen's skull was held even with her shoulders, cropped receptors plastered back against it. Honey hues narrowed into slits as a sneer tainted her beautiful features. Something was obviously pissing the doberman off and she had no issue showing it. Her lithe frame slipped from her own personal area of the cave system and stalked through the darkness toward the outside world. Long limbs thrust forward with the perfect balance of power and grace as she followed a straight line toward the exit. A low growl vibrated within her chest cavity in warning to any who dared stand in her path. Tonight was not the moment to test her patience. Any who got in the way would be ordered dead immediately. Her mind burned with the possibilities of just what was happening upon the island, and with the pups. Three possibly missing. The others would have to be watched like hawks...imprisoned if that's what it took to keep them here on her lands. And what the hell was going on with the sky?
Claws pierced the dirt floor below forcing the demoness' body into a halt as she glared wickedly at the sheet of tainted rain that had formed just outside of the safety of the cave. Perhaps the rain would help in settling the suffocating clouds of ash that had taken residence within the sky. After several moments of watching the liquid bullets pelt off of mother earth's hide her frame curved around to view the inside of the sanctuary. That devilish glare touched each and every face it could find within the darkness, threatening to slink through their own eyes and into their souls to torment them from the inside out. An oddly calmness held onto her voice, though each syllable was laced with hidden venom, "Somebody better find every one of my leeches, or find out exactly what happened to them by the time I return or there will be hell to pay around here. Once found do not allow them away from the caves." All would be aware that she was speaking of the young princes and princesses that the fae had birthed months earlier, and the honesty lurking within her threat would be completely obvious to each and every one of those within the caves.
She then swung around to face the dreary outside world, a single side of her lips raising in disgust. A single step drew her closer to the torrential downpour just outside of the entrance, a single bark ordering one of her most trusted to her side, "Andreios!" There she stood allowing him a moment to approach before explaining to the group exactly what was going to happen, "We are going for a few days. Scath is in charge. Don't be complete asses while I'm away." The demands were calm and collected as she patiently waited to make her way into the darkness.

Honey tinged optics flicked lazily from his Queen to the dun brute before him. He watched their exchange, feeling this muscles uncoil for the moment. If his Queen accepted the brute, then he had no reason to put his guard up, at least for now. Dark soldiers stood erect on his broad skull. His lithe form kept the same reclined position beside his Queen. His raven colored pelt shifted and settled once the sensation passed. Anticipation and anxiety raced through his veins, causing the skin beneath his double-coated pelt to tingle and itch. He pushed the sensations down and pushed himself up on all fours as his Queen began to move.
His gaze turned to the sky, watching the ashes descend upon the earth. A few fell in his onyx and broze riddled coat. He barely felt the heat against his spine. The ashe burned away and the ember dissapated as soon as it touch. He gave a quick shake and remains danced to the ground. He shook his head, pushing onward as if nothing happend. He kept his gaze on his Queen, letting his auds rotate back and forth, focusing in on every little sound. He gave a quick glance toward the larger brute that followed behind. He snorted and looked forward once again.
The dark clouds unnerved him, but no anxiety reached his features. He kept a calm, bored expression as he padded carefully beside his Queen, making sure not to pass her or lag too far behind. He turned his gaze to the ground, watched his careful footfalls on long bronze, hollow boned, limbs. He pushed his auds back and gave a mental sigh. He wasn't about to back out, but he was irritated by the uncertainty of what was about to happen to their land. His mind was distracted by the ashes and dark clouds, momentarily forgetting what was angering his Queen.
He shook his bi-colored pelt and lowered his head, keeping the same steady pace. He lifted his head, building back up his guard, his gaze focusing in on every little movement. He glanced up at his Queen, watching her every move to pass the time. He couldn't find the energy to focus, so many things were happening at once. He snorted at himself and looked away toward the ground, building the wall back up, ashamed to have dropped it for even a second. He mentally cursed himself and kept onward as if nothing ever happend.

The hard glare that had been attempting to penetrate those around her softened slightly as optics found themselves upon the Belgian Tervuren's figure. Why couldn't they all be like Andreios? Too many were out for themselves and not the pack as a whole. Though, with the characters that were attracted to these lands it was no surprise in how the group worked. At least a few knew the way things were suppose to work, the things that made pack life that much easier. The skin encasing her muzzle smoothed slightly as her chest expanded and contracted in a relaxing sigh. Almost immediately following the soft breath of air her weight pushed back upon her haunches, eyes focusing upon the guard by her side.
She had been in a rush to leave, to burst out of the cave and dash through the toxic rain to find the source of the island's dismay. Yet her nerves were now calmed and intellect took over her being once more. Feminine front paws shifted into a statuesque posture, while cropped soldiers found themselves erect once more. The melodic voice had overpowered the venomous words that were spewing from her maw only moments earlier, the sound a mere whisper directed toward the faithful dog beside her. Others could certainly hear the conversation, but it was of no real worry to Erida. "We need to find out what's poisoning the island. What could possibly be causing....this," her head craned toward the outside where dark clouds had engulfed the atmosphere spitting waves of ash and rain toward the island's surface. If any truly knew the queen, they would be aware that she actually did care about the safety of her pack. Without them she would be just another dog chained up on some disgusting human's property.
A moist nose reached toward the brute nudging him lightly in the shoulder, her head tilting slightly, "I'm not quite sure where we are heading or what we'll find, but some answers are needed, no?" Despite the fact that the bitch was completely certain that she would be traveling, and knew Rei would follow she offered him an opinion in the matter. After all, he was risking his hide as much as she hers if not more. The thought of the pups was pushed aside for the moment, knowing that those who were truly worthy of her resources would be the ones to stay with her. The others would be doomed to punishment soon enough.

A deep rumble rolled beneith the deep chest of the dun pelted brute as his black flaps perked as he heard the familiar high pitched feminine voice echoing in the cave dens. Black curtains pulled up slowly as a large trap opened to full capasity, a long tongue tensing stretching out into the chilled air as a long yawn was released before the powerful jaws snapped shut. Lazy golden auds dilated in the shadows as a massive skull tilted looking to the mouth of the den. One of the more recent members this brute had mostly kept to himself. Not many knew much about him. Most stayed clear of him. The dun brute gave an appearance of laziness but easily provocate and one would say much more than laziness about this beast. He seemed shy but he mainly kept himself distant so to not attrack attention yet. But today he felt like he should start out and make himself a bit more known to the alphess of the pack. Her pure brutality had sparked his interest at why he joined. Her powerful dark disposition had attracted him to serve under her.
Thick long pillars pushed the 146 lb brute up off the warmed stone from where he lain. He bowed stretching out his massive club like paws, talon like claws digging into the small dirk layer of the rocks. He grunted as he felt a relieving pop in his spine and he stood taking a few steps and extending his back pillars stretching them as well. In quick muscled jerks, legs grounded as he shook out his thick pelt. His whipcord slashing side to side.
The beige brute stood tall, at the shoulders he stood taller than any in the pack, even the queen herself. Bruiser gloated to himself at this as it was why he was such a good fighter in the old days. He pushed off at a slow moderate gate in the direction of his queen and her guard, he had actually had hopes and thoughts he'd be worthy enough to become a guard himself. Itd give him a better reason to kill. He even thought of asking to be an assasin for the queen but declined the silly thought. Oh how he wished he could be a the end of choker collar again pushing and pulling against the leash, snapping his jaws, ready to kill the poor unforunate soul set infront of him to slaughter. The power of first launched attack into his prey, his sharp dagger like teeth shedding flesh and bone. Shaking his masked face, ridding his minds of memories, he approached his queen. Bruiser held his head even with his shoulders as to not present he was better the alpha fae herself. He bowed his head to her. His golden hues flickered over her ebony and tan pelt, scanning the strong feminine body once again marveled at her demonic beauty. Black lips parted as a harsh deep and quiet tone rumbled from within his muzzle, " May I accompany you , My Queen?" his voice was raspy and scratchy from the years of barking and being bitten in the throat. He'd never had a smooth warming voice again, it was more of a dark uncomfortable chill that never left.
Bruiser had heard the Belgian Tervuren brute and Erida converse as he had neared. He would prefer to accompany his queen rather than search for mutt pups that weren't his own. He had sired many pups before but never had care to know if they were his. He'd most likely kill them later on if they had been fighters and not know they were his kin. Hense he had no personal care for these runts that were to be protected by the pack for the alphess's sake. For this as well he wanted to prove his loyalty to the queen as he felt even she had no idea of his potential and power, exspecially in fights.

Deep golden brown orbs lifted and his large, yet narrow skull tilted and craned toward plumes of dark, possibly toxic ashen clouds. His auds turned back in slight confusion and uncertainty. What was going on, why were those clouds here. He could feel a small shiver slide down his spine, causing his pelt to itch with anxiety. He pushed it aside and raised up on all four pillars once again. His gaze was trained on the clouds, his brain working to try and come up with some kind of answer himself. Where would they go to find the answers? Who knew what chaos about to fall upon the island and it's inhabitants. He wasn't sure himself and even that scared him. Usually he ould give a simple, concise explanation to calm others' fears. But not this time.
He was brought back to reality by a cold nose pushing into his thick ebony colored pelt. His golden gaze flicked back to his Alphess. He was taken off guard by the chesture, his auds pricking forward in slight confusion. He then settled, feeling honored once more. He would gladly risk his own life if it meant getting the approval and praise of his Queen. He nodded, listening carefully to her words. "Yes, M'Lady. Answers are needed." He replied, calmly. He still felt uneasy about the whole situation, but he was a guard for a reason. He would risk his hide for answers and his Queen and pack,
"I am not sure what is causing all of this. But we will find out and I will be by your side the whole way. Nothing can change my mind. I vowed to protect you and this pack, I'm not turning back and breaking that vow. Not for anything." He added, laying down beside her. He crossed his large, bronze paws and rested his head on them. He closed his eyes for a moment, simply resting and thinking over everything. Movement caused his eyes to snap back open. He raised up on all fours again and lowered his head, snarling, but relaxing upon recognizing the dun colored brute.
His head tilted and reclined to his haunches. So the new guy wants to join a special mission. He glanced toward his Queen, waiting for her response. He didn't know much about the brute, but he was bigger Rei. This didn't phase him, skills and fighting phased the ebony brute. If you could at least subdue him, he was impressed. He knew of the brute's habit of staying solitary. It irritated him, but to each his own. He glanced at the brute, then remained focused on his Queen, waiting patiently.

Truth be known one of the reasons the queen had chosen to wait rather then move out once commanding Rei to her side was to offer the chance for any others to stand up and join them. Surely she wouldn't mind having another or two to join in the mission and to quite frankly keep eye out for those who may attempt to take a swipe at the Metnal bitch during her travels. Ebony lips tightened into a smirk as the shepherd beside her proclaimed his loyalty to her and the pack, a glint of interest dancing upon honey hued pools. It always pleased her to know she had others' offer their hides to her to use as pawns in any way she saw fit, or felt like depending on the demoness' mood. Luckily for this brute she was actually fond of him and chose him for something of importance. This time anyhow.
Cropped soldiers swiveled to meet the sound of approaching footfalls, an amused gaze slowly following like cool honey being urged out of a jar. Before optics rested upon the large male she had already knew who was drawing nearer by the distinct sound of his steps. Each and every dog that called these lands home could not sneak up upon the doberman without her knowing who it was in advance. This was a skill that was invaluable living with a group such as these dogs. A single tan brow rose as the Kangal made his request to join the duo in their journey. The tension rippling under the skin of the Belgian brute was silently noted, yet it only pushed her toward her decision. That aerodynamic skull rose and fell in the form of a firm, single nod. The smirk that had been plastered upon her face now twisted into something slightly more wicked, the sure sign that some sort of plan was rolling through her demented mind. Perhaps the two could be of some sort of amusement as well?
Deceptively sweet lyrics chimed after a short moment of consideration over the brute she had not expected to come forth, "Your presence would be most welcome, Bruiser." Eyes traveled along his muscular frame following every dip and rise of his muscle structure before returning to meet his gaze. This mission could possibly prove to be much more interesting and informative then originally expected. It would be a test to learn the real in and outs of at least two of her most powerful minions.
Without much more hesitation a narrowly muscled rear rose, lean limbs dancing their way into the dark atmosphere. The ashen rain immediately turning her light dove hued pelt into something resembling a murky pit found deep within a wetland. Not even an ear was thrown behind her simply expecting the pair of brutes to follow, not showing any concern if they indeed changed their minds.

The large dog noticed the shephards tense reaction to him. Bruiser didn't care besides he had to restrain his natural reaction to attack a ready dog infront of him. He still was having to remind himself he wasn't in fighting anymore. He restrained his reactions so often now days.
The dun brute gave a half smile that quickly dropped as she excepted his assitance. He caught the devilish deviousness in his Queen's eyes. What could that cruel mind be thinking of now. With a blink of his black lids he disgaurded the curiousity that had been in his eyes.
As the Queen lifted and danced away he couldn't help but watch that well toned rump bounce infront of them. The beige brute waited for her Guard to follow first. Then he pushed off and followed the two, abit off the side so they weren't in alinement. As soon as the ash rain hit his pelt he let out a harsh groan. Even though dirty the cool liquid felt good against the double coated layers of fur. He twitched his folded flags as he looked up at the sky. Dark and mysterious, just the way he liked it, a rememberance of him. With a dark grin across his mussle he lowered his head again, Following with ease keeping alert golden hues on radiar of the area for any danger.
