REQUIREMENTS
If you would like to adopt Gabbie, please post a RP sample of her. I want to see how you're going to RP my creations. There is only a 100 wc minimum so it shouldn't be too hard. Perhaps you could have her relive a moment from her past.
I'm not too specific about Gabbie and where or who'll she will go to, but some of my other creations might play more major roles later on and need to go to an experienced RPer. ^.^
I will try to make a simple table for all the characters that are adopted, but you are more than welcome to discard it and find another. XD
Make sure you repost all of the information provided into a Character Creation thread to be approved.
Name Gabriella (Gabbie)
Age Two years
Gender Female
Breed Boykin Spaniel
Pelt/Hair color and length: Gabbies pelt is a deep chocolate colour all around. Even her nose, although a little lighter, looks as if someone rubbed chocolate all over it. The hair on her back and face is quite a bit shorter than the fur on her belly, legs, chest and ears giving her an almost groomed quality about her.
Eye Colour Staying true with the rest of her colours, Gabbies eyes are a light brown colour and almond shaped. Innocence seems to burst out of them constantly.
Build She weighs in at around 30 pounds and is roughly 16 inches high at the shoulders. Although she was born after the explosion, her tail is docked... she thanks her mother for that. Her ears reach to about her shoulders, giving her a very feminine look.
Personality
Despite all of Gabbies problems in life, she is a sweet natured individual. She can be quite shy around newcomers into her life, but quickly grows to them if they have any interesting, heroic stories to tell. Gabriella is completely too trusting and can easily be taken advantage of in life. She believes herself to be worthless and will never amount to anything spectacular like every other canine she comes into contact with. Everyone she had ever loved in her life has left her, beaten her or shunned her. She has had no other reason to believe that she isn't as horrible as her mother told her she was.
A problem that Gabriella tends to have are dreadful nightmares almost every night. Most are quite violent, she sees herself going straight to the pit of hell for how awful she was as a pup and still is now. Whenever a moment occurs in her life that would result in panic, the hallucinations come as well. She sees any canine in front of her as loved ones long gone. Her mother is quite often seen in Gabbies head and fear overtakes her even though a lot of the time, the real canine in front of her is a complete friend.
Honestly. Innocence. Trust. Extraordinarily Sweet.
And the best word to describe this young Boykin - Strong.
History
The withering mass of pups were looked down upon with such hatred that one only could have assumed that they were the devils own spawn. A heroic canine must have been sent here to destroy them before they destroyed the world. Alas, the only dog that looked down on the full blooded Boykin pups was their own mother. The flames that burnt within her orbs were completely unnecessary and unprovoked.
The fae had fallen in love. Oh, it was so blissful. Just her and her lad meant to roam these lands for the rest of their lives. Together. Alone. Staring up into one anothers eyes as if nothing else in the world mattered. That is, until, he wanted a family. He loved her so much, he said, that he couldn't bare the thought of not raising their own pups to share in such a brave new romance. He could only imagine their lives blossoming into something far greater than what even they experienced now. Helena went along with this, she could dream just as much as he could. At first, she was so happy about the prospects of it all. One. Huge. Happy. Family. There couldn't have been a pair more suited for this in the world. So much love to offer, so much to share.
Everything changed the day of the birth. She watched in agony as Trenchbucket, her love, did in fact share what they had. He cooed and cawed at the tiny forms. Tears welled up in his eyes, his enjoyment was anything but contained. So much rage filled Helenas heart. She hated the forms she had brought into this world. Hated them so much that she couldn't contain it either. They had stolen her love, ripped everything she had ever wanted right out from under her. Oh, they would pay. How they would pay.
By the time they were a month old, the six puppies had turned to only two. They were sick, she explained to their father. Something deathly wrong with them at birth. They were unable to feed correctly and there was nothing she could have done. In reality though, she had starved the puppies whenever possible. Refusing to let them feed when Trenchbucket wasn't around. He was devastated by each loss. Now all his love was focused on the two remaining, hardly leaving their sides for a moment. Hoping that, in some small way, his presence would be enough to sustain them.
It had worked. The two remaining were now able to eat for themselves and their father was now able to return to his usual routine of hunting for the tightly knit family. Gabriella and Charles seemed happy enough. Although they weren't like normal puppies. They didn't play, didn't explore, didn't dare to even move while in the presence of their mother.
One day, Trenchbucket had returned to find one of the pups savagely torn apart while Gabriella cowered in the corner, as far away from his mother as possible. This time, he knew. Helena had failed to remove the traces of blood she could not see that speckled her lower jaw. She told tales of great dogs coming in to kill the puppy. Just the one puppy, she assured him. She had no idea why they didn't attack her or Gabriella.
That night, unable to face his love and unable to confront her, he left, never to return. Hoping the best for Gabriella. He was a strong brute, but his heart failed within and there was just simply nothing he could do.
Being blamed, being told how horrible you are... how everyone hates you, is definitely no way for anyone to grow up. It does things to you. You start to believe that you're awful. This is just what happened to Gabriella. She lived through the beatings, the screaming. She tried not to believe all the times her mother cursed at her, saying that she was the reason Trenchbucket had left them. Trenchbucket had hated Gabriella. That the young pup had ruined their whole life. Worthless little bitch.
The day of her departure started out just as any other. She was meant to hunt for her mother, bring back the kill and wait for her turn to eat... if there happened to be anything left to eat. While waiting, the young fae must have lost her mind for a moment. A passing beetle became a toy. A simple enjoyment that enraged her mother. She rose from her feast, still covered with blood and charged at her. In between bites, shakes and scratches, she screamed at her. "You ungrateful little bitch! Do you not appreciate what I have done for you!? I outta rip your head off you little slut!"
This was the first and last time Gabriella defied these actions. This time she didn't cower in the corner, didn't take the beatings until she was bruised and bloody. No, this time, she fled. Her mothers screaming could be heard for miles, or so she thought. She kept going until all she had entered into was silence. And for once, finally, felt at ease.
At only 10 months old, Gabriella was on her own. It didn't take long for a small band of canines who likes to pretend they were a real pack took her in. There, she grew up. She was finally safe. She loved her new family and they loved her back. One, in fact, too much. The Alpha of the band of dogs had fallen in love with the innocent Gabriella. The young Boykin didn't understand any of it though. She loved him too, like the father that left her stranded. One night when Gabriella and the Alpha were alone together, he tried to mount her. Gabbie screamed, unsure of what was happening. When the Alphess charged in to see what the matter was, she was shocked by what she was witnessing. It all happened so fast, but the next thing Gabbie knew, she was on her own again. Broken hearted once more.
The Alpha had been killed that night by his Alphess. And Gabbie was quickly sent off from the band of dogs, told never to return again. So far, she hasn't. And this is where she is now.
