((Ooc: I can't really demand this, but I'll ask that only one person joins this thread.))
The night was fairly cool, the cloudless sky letting heat out into space. But to the fox it was pleasantly warm, his thick coat of fur offering ample protection from the elements. He stalked with his white-tipped brush stuck stiffly out, staying just above the ground. It was downright foolish to be sneaking into a territory of large and numerous canines, yet the fox was perfectly aware of what danger he was enticing. But in the end he just couldn't bring himself to care. Even in summer, when he could hunt until his stomach felt like it was going to rip his feeling of dissatisfaction hung onto his fur. After waking up at half six as he always did, Cursico had looked around him at the brambles he so often slept under. The familiar sight of the hedgehog skin, carefully nibbled rabbit legs, and other derbis he had accumulated brought bile into his throat. He had ran out of the thorny bush as if there were devils snapping at his paws. After a while, he had tired and slowed into a stiff legged walk in an unfamiliar place he didn't recognise. The red shape plodded on, matching the pace of his paws to the rhythm of the river, nose twitching erratically. He could have turned around and retraced his steps back to the den, yet he couldn't stop moving forward. It was somewhat thrilling to head directly into hostile (that much was assumed) territory. Cursico paused to listen intently, scoping the area with suspicious eyes. Had he just heard something? The fox straightened his posture, standing like someone born from royalty. Then he threw back his head, mouth gaping open to emit a terrible scream.

A small inky nose twitched as it nearly touched the rough bark of a young pine tree, taking in the marks of warning. This apparently was the border of some dope pack that felt the need to piss all over some perfectly good smelling trees. The skin along the bridge of her nose crinkled in disgust of the scent. Was it possible for somebody's urinary tract to eat a damn tic tac? Without acknowledging the fact that the border was marked for a reason Tynisha simply helped herself right onto the Barzakh lands. Dainty paws tip toed across the land with her head and tail both held high, as if she belonged here and was somebody of importance.
The cool night was surprisingly welcome to the semi-hairless dog. The scorching sun really did a number on her skin without the protection of a coat draped along her back. As a rule the Chinese Crested managed to stay in the shade for most of the days, wandering in the protection of the forest in an attempt to evade sun burn. A cold wisp of wind sent her hide into a spasm twitching irritatedly as the hot surface was brushed so violently by the gust. Though the rapid temperature change was uncomfortable the wind managed to clear her big doe eyes from the long silky furl neatly placed upon her skull.
It seemed she had been parading through the territory for nearly fifteen minutes when the horrible screech of the fox pierced through the atmosphere and into receptors. Erect ears fell against her skull, shades closing in the form of a wince from the horrendous noise. A low growl bubbled anxiously in her throat, pace shifting toward the source of the sound. Thin limbs stretched to their full extent as she slipped through the darkness and toward the fox. He wasn't far from her, perhaps that was why the sound was so damn irritating. Only a few feet from him the small dog paused, one brow raised while the other one dropped. The skin along her maw rose flashing a sneer toward the wretched creature. "Don't you have no respect for nobody else? What the hell do you think you're doing spittin' that shit like that?" Her small head shifted from the center of her frame to the right, neck arching and shoulders rolling as the words seeped from her jaws.

The sound dragged on until Cursico had to stop and gasp in breath. The echo mixed into the sounds of prey animals running away from the noise. The fox fluffed his coat, pleased with the fear he'd managed to instill. The satisfation didn't last long, however, and he flicked his ears in annoyance. So little fun to have around here, maybe he needed to find the main camp and stir up some big dogs. Sigh, things were definitely getting desperate when suicidal thoughts could flutter in unbidden. The sound of the newcomers growl was instantly picked up in the shocked silence. Satisfaction returned with a bubbling vengeance. The fox grinned, he had managed to hit something promising; perfect. Best of all, it didn't even sound like a big dog! Cursico sat down, neatly wrapping his tail around his white paws and fluffing up his chest that dimly reflected light. Yellow eyes locked onto the funny-looking canine as she approached, and narrowed with scrutiny. Part lizard, part dog maybe? What if it was mange! Oh no, that wasn't an adventure he wanted! He loved his shiny fur, especially his thick brush of a tail and the thought of catching sarcoptic mange and dying as a bald ugly thing brought shivers down his spine.
"Don't you have no respect for nobody else? What the hell do you think you're doing spittin' that shit like that?"
"You mean 'Don't you have respect for anyone else?'" Cursico corrected, still eying the exposed skin on the dog with suspicion. "To answer that: No. No I don't, and I was trying to pull something much like you out of hiding. It worked, eh?" The fox watched Tynisha's evident anger and couldn't help a small chuckle from escaping his throat. He must have scared her witless! For once it wasn't the dog putting him in danger. "Are you bald because you're half lizard, or because your fur is falling out?" He suddenly asked, unable to stop himself from worrying about his own fur. He wouldn't be able to play with the doggie if it was a sufferer.

If it were only possible her hackles would raise in agitation, the skin along her spine twitching in response the voice of the fox. Eyes narrowed devilishly glaring as hard as she could at the fluffy creature. A low growl rolled anxiously within her chest as the thin skin along her small maw rose to flash a full set of needles. A long tail lifted over her haunches shifting side to side in a miniscule amount as the Chinese Crested's blood began to boil beneath her hide.
Thin limbs dressed in furry boots took two deliberate steps toward the vulpine, tall receptors now falling to her skull. The growl finally erupted into a series of sharp barks, "You know exactly what I said, nigga. If you were smart you'd watch them words of yours." Her small frame was shaking as if it were about to explode, but the tremors suddenly stopped. His questioning pierced her auds like a match igniting the flame within. A snarl engulfed her features jumping forward to come nearly nose to nose with the fox who apparently didn't know beauty when he saw it. "Half Lizard?! You need you some schooling." Then it seemed all of the energy within her seeped into her neck as that head popped left to right, her voice raised several octaves over where it really needed to be. "I'm a champion show dog, a pedigree of perfection. And what do YOU have? You can't touch me mutha fucka." Lips pursed with a single brow raised in the typical Tynisha I'm the shit attitude.

Cursico watched the dog become increasingly angry, and began to feel immensely joyful that he had brought her out of hiding. If it had been a big dog it would have been much more worrying, but for once he didn't feel minuscule in front of a dog. His smile even lifted the corners of his mouth enough that his teeth glittered prettily beneath. "Oh, it is not about misunderstanding." He said smoothly, "It is about not sounding like some slack-jawed mutt." Considering the pride the dog held herself in, the particular dig of mongrel seemed to be the best shot for a reaction. As it were, he didn't think those who couldn't control their vocals would be able to use their brain... and using the case of the dog in front of him, control their emotions either. Feeling most confidently confident he stood proudly and quite unruffled in front of the dog, his pupil-less eyes watching her with close scrutiny. Could the dog be smart enough to know what mange was? She had declared against being anything reptile, but not explained the distinct lack of fur on her back. Cursico sighed and shook his head, pitying the dog. "I have the cunning all foxes are born with. We are champion thinkers, little lizard." He replied, wondering whatever could make anyone think that show-dog and perfection could mix. Her temperament was much too explosive for showing, he was positive of that. Just to add icing to the cake, the fox delicately lifted one white-dipped paw and poked Tynisha in the chest, "Touch. Pedigree's are incestuous, I know that much. That would explain your lizard-ness! And your obsession with doing things to mothers." When he had found out what humans had been making dogs do, the fox had found it hard to believe. Now he had a prime example!

Feathered auds pushed forward, small skull snapping back as the words were shot at her. That tiny mouth fell agape in complete shock. Who did this stupid fox think he was? How dare he! If she were the powder puff version of her breed she would certainly look like a cotton ball, her fur on edge from the aggravation. Dainty paws bounced her body forward, the skin along her maw wrinkled in a snarl. "Just who do you think you are you smelly creature? Are you part skunk because you sure smell like it!" The only experience she had with foxes prior to today were the disgusting musky scent of them, and that was enough to leave an impression on anybody!
Needle like teeth snapped at the filthy snow tipped paw that touched her narrow chest with a loud growl. Was this guy out of his mind? Incest? Incest?! The blood coursing through her veins began to boil rapidly her whole body sent into a series of quakes. Suddenly loud yaps began to pierce through the atmosphere without thought that she would be giving away both of their presence on pack land. Quite frankly she could care less who found her trespassing. At that moment she charged her temper taking complete hold of her body and mind, all seen before her was tainted in a crimson hue. Jaws snapped wildly running straight for the fox.

The warm sun beat down on his tan spotted coat as he made his way from his hiding place. Rounded auds rotated forward and backwards, picking up on every little sound around him. His tail flicked slightly, stalying low to the ground. Thin legs stretched out with each step, trying to rouse his weary body. Large brown eyes scanned his surroundings, a small growl reverberating like a purr within his chest. He glanced up at the sun, pushing his auds back, closing his eyes for a moment, letting it warm his fur. Once he was satisfied and warm, he moved on, jumping up on nearby rocks protruding from the lush green ground. He reclined to his haunces and curled his tail around his paws. It was an easy, quiet morning. His stomach ached with hunger. He hadn't been starved persay, but he had only been able to catch small scale prey like rodents. He tilted his small head up to the sky, breathing in slowly.
Two strange scents caught his attention. He stepped off the rock with a small jump. He padded toward the source of the smells, the tip of his tail flicking wildly left and right. A smile pulled at his maw as he soon set site on two figures. One a fox larger than himself and a small stranger creature. He watched the almost hairless creature yell at the fox. He was almost amused by it's spunk. But he wanted food. Something much bigger than a measly field mouse. He stood near a tree, hidden from signt. He eased himself low to the ground, watching the pair with a steady gaze. His ears pinned themselves to his narrow head and the low growl returned. He couldn't figure out what the small creature was for he'd never seen it.
He laid on the ground, waiting for his chance to attack. His ears raised in surprise when the little one charged at the fox. What was she thinking? He gave an inaudible amused laugh. Just a small 'heh' in amusement. He decided to relax for a moment, curling his tail around his side. He crossed his front paws, tilting his head. He almost didn't want to kill the small creature. But he was hungry and desperate times call for desperate measures. He'd be sure to let it fight back and possibly torture it before killing it completely. For now he watched the pair, waiting for the most oppurtune time. It shouldn't be long now by the way this was going. He'd always liked a dinner and a show. He licked his lips and swallowed. This should be interesting.

Hm, part skunk, a better insult then he had expected. Cursico nodded like a proud parent, yes that would do nicely. When you lived with a smell for your entire life, it became like an identity. The smell was in fact attractive to foxes... it would have to be if they were ever to breed. Scent glands on the paws also smelled faintly like lavender, but few people took the time to notice when the rest of the body was so... Skunky to put it in the little dogs words. While he understood other creatures weren't so inclined to enjoy musk-la-fox, he just couldn't bring himself to care, he had no pleasant connection with dogs. Watching Tynisha's anger explode into a fury of barking was stunningly hilarious. The fox erupted into laughter that didn't stop even as the small pooch ran for him. Even if she was probably heavier than him thanks to the light bones and structure of foxes he had a calm mind, while she quite certainly didn't. Dodging would be much too classic and difficult at such close range... he had a better idea. In a flash, he dragged his tail tip against the ground, picking up dust from the earth. The irony of using his fur against such a fur-less creature wasn't lost on him. With a flourish Cursico flicked his tail for the little dog's eyes, the dust from his tail leaving a fine trail. But otherwise, he remained stock still, the only sign of nervousness was the backwards tilt in his ears. For once he was bigger than the dog, and it pleased him; he wasn't going to waste the moment. His senses were acute, though the hiding ocelot remained undetected as his attention was quite fixated on Tynisha in all her rage. It wasn't a mistake he often made, but surely the circumstances would excuse him from such a dire error.
