A smile split ebony lips as her sister's words caressed pendulous auds. She knew that Ondrea just wanted to come along with her. She wanted out just as much as Chantal did. Motion only paused briefly as the protesting sound vibrated against the atmosphere, her small dial swiveling around to view their brother. Her head motioned for him to follow too, long whip cord shimmying behind her. "Come on, Thorn! You can come play too! It's just a game!" In reality, both Chantal and Ondrea were quite aware that this was their escape plan. Tiny paws picked up the pace once again keeping in sync with the other pup. This was it! They would get away so easily! Everybody would think that they were just playing a game and would let them alone until it was too late! A proud expression engulfed her features, tan spotted chest puffing as she basked in her glory.
A giggle rolled from the princess' larynx as Kiyoko joined them in such a merry fashion. This was going to be much more fun then she had previously imagined. The young fae planned on leaving, but figured it would be alone. With the other two females and hopefully her brother it would be quite a wonderful time indeed. Her walk turned into a prance, her paws springing her forward with each and every step. Before she could enjoy the time for too long the large white youngster dropped fearfully to the earth just in front of Chantal and her sister. Onyx claws dug into the hide of the earth forcing her into a stop before tripping over the white throw rug before her. What was it now? "Kiyoko! There's nothing here except for us!" Little did Chantal know that there were others nearby.

Her muscles relaxed as she sat back onto her haunches. Her ears standing alert as she studied the two males before her. The one next to Typhoon she had heard about somewhere along the grapevine. He was the new Beta she believed... he looked like he held not trust for her, for some reason this put her on edge as far as she was concerned. If there was no trust or respect given, then there would be none in return. She was looking around, wondering if anyone else would be showing up to help out with the mission... however she had doubts that such a thing was going to happen. Deep lyrics fell from the mouth of her alpha regaining her attention. "Amaya, darling. You make me feel foolish. I'm no more special than you are. I was just the first to arrive on scene." A smile cross her features and she shook her head in disagreement, this however was no time to argue, so she kept it silent...
"I don't ask or expect either of you to join me, this is my war, not yours. Although I would be ecstatic if you wish to come on your own accord.", His voice ceased momentarily as he smiled at both him and the other dog that was with them. For the life of her, Amaya could not remember his name. She smiled back at Typhoon however, allowing her banner to wag slightly. She was going with him one way or another. "I think that now is the time. Doidle has expressed to me that the pups are capable of surviving on their own without a mother now. They may very well already be brainwashed by Erida, but I'm still willing to try to convince them. I have no idea about how this will happen. Erida is gone, I know that much. Unfortunatly, most of her followers are just as vicious as she is." At this point in time, a heavy sigh fell from Typhoon's mouth, "I'm ready to get this over with, I'm so tired of hating."
She felt a wave of pity swell inside her heart, Typhoon deserved better. She hoped that all of his pups would come with them and join the rankings of Barzakh, such an occurrence would be nothing short of a miracle. If they were old enough to be wondering around on their own, chances were some of them had already been corrupted to bad to be saved. He had said something else about no further delays but Amaya only caught the very end of it, and she watched for only seconds before joining her alpha in his march towards the Metnal territories. Her dial was held at shoulder height, her muscles rolled with ease beneath her pelt as she kept her pace up with his own. She was on his right side, woods surrounded all three of them. She didn't know what do say... so she let a comfortable silence fall between them as she mentally plotted what would happen when the time came to steal the pups away from their mother. Amaya would protect them at all cost.

Even as Chantal slowed to tell Thorn that he could join us that it was just a game as Kiyoko had just announced, Ondrea did not slow her pace. She had not intentions of getting caught by the murderous bitch they had the dishonor of calling their mother. Then her sister was quick to pick up pace with her. Ondrea allowed her chocolate orbs to study her sister momentarily, wondering if it was all just a game to her for real. However, Chantal had noticed a change in the princess of the litter lately... she had seen a little less high and mighty as of lately. Part of her knew instinctively that Chantal was the only other pup that was not blind to their mothers wrong ways.
Kiyoko bounded forth playfully, agreeing to play the game so merrily with them. As a giggle erupted from Chantal, a giant grin spread across Ondrea's features, her banner being to wag happily as she mentally scolded herself to have fun. Suddenly though, the big white pup dropped to the ground cowering in front of them, and Chantal's giggles ceased as both of them stopped almost in complete unison. Chantal spoke again, Ondrea sat back on her haunches. "Yeah Kiyoko... there isn't anything out here. Just us, and it's just a game." There was a playfulness in her tone, a fake yet realistic looking smile plastered across her features. "Come on Kiyoko... lets play!" She stood up walking a little ways ahead of the other pups, banner wagging turning her back on the thicker part of the woods to face the other pups. "Chantal is the Queen, I am the Beta and you Kiyoko... what do you want to be?" Maybe they could do this! The could start a pack! They would just have to work together... could they work together? Her eyes scanned the other pups, but they went to Chantal last and lingered there longer than the other two... she gave a slightly nod of her dial hoping her sister would understand. If it came down to it, Ondrea would run leaving them there. She only hoped that Chantal would follow, but not matter what she was NOT going back.

Typhoons pace was quicker than normal, but not quite a trot. He was ready to get this over with before the butterflies rose within his stomach and forced the hidden cowardliness to come out. He wasn't worried about Erida. Nor Scath. None of the Metnal members were a bother to him, easily shrugged off. What he was worried about was encountering the very same beings he had thought about day in and day out for months. He allowed himself to take in the best possibilities, forcing himself to discount the worst. He knew this all could just be another major heartbreak in the end, but what would it say of him if he didn't at least try?
The two Barzakh members that joined him was a great relief. He could definitely tackle this on his own, but it felt as if each Amaya and Silas were an advantage on the situation. The more members he brought, the better chance he had at convincing his mixed pups what a better life he could offer them. A smile formed on his face as he craned his neck back to look at Amaya, then Silas. His head rose slightly, nose pointed towards the treeline. Obvious pride radiating from him. And then, everything seemed possible. Anything could happen. And it would, all it took was a little effort. With the butterflies gone, a familiar presence overcame him, one he had not felt in a long time. His large pink tongue lolled out of his mouth, a goofy grin creasing his face as his pace increased slightly, almost looking as if he were skipping. He skidded to a stop suddenly, letting his company pass him and allowing them both to take in the mischievous smirk he gave before he took off at a full run, leaping over the fallen debris and winding himself in between trees. His broad head looked back over his shoulders to see just where Amaya and Silas were before his body disappeared from their line of sight with a loud "Oof". A deep chuckle arose from his chest as he lifted himself from the fallen tree he had tripped over. He shook his pelt for a moment before continuing on his trek as if nothing had happened at all. If dogs could blush, his face would be completely flushed.
They walked for a bit longer, Typhoons games had ceased and his pace slowed. They were close. Dark brown orbs glanced up at the canopy of gnarled, twisted trees. It was a frightening sight and Typhoon thought for a moment that such a nasty looking landscape should belong to the Queen of Metnal.
A new scent hit his nostrils, his ears perked up and his head raised. Typhoons eyes scanned the foliage in front of him almost frantically. It was definitely Metnal, but unlike any he had the displeasure of catching a whiff of before. Young. Innocent. Puppies. Could it really be? Large paws stepped out of the shadows of the forest, in the direct line of sight of three puppies and a white ball of fluff that was quickly speeding away with her tail between her legs. The surprised look on his face stayed long enough for him to study each individual before a soft smile creased his features.
"Hello."

Still crouched on the ground, her back legs shivering wildly, her eyes shooting from one side of the forest to the other, her body crawling in quick circles. The edges of Kiyokos vision started fading to black as the fear started to overwhelm the young Pyrenees. Her breath was now a quick pant, succumbing to panic. Luckily, the encouraging words of the two faes brought her back enough to receded the forming blackness and slow her heart rate slightly. A pout swept over her features as she crawled on her belly back to Chantal and Ondrea, her eyes now only focusing on the ground to her right as she began to gain control of her thoughts. "C...can I be a Den..... mother?", she said in a barely audible whisper. Her auburn eyes stayed focused on the foliage for a few seconds after she finished speaking before a pitiful look was given to her new play superiors, pleading with them to let her be a Den Mother in this game.
The white ball of fluff rose slightly, now standing over the puppies, but still only half of her full height. Her eyes slowly started moving towards the blackened shadows of the forest. Although the panic was gone and she was trying her best to appear calm, it was apparent to anyone watching that the poor canine was scared out of her mind. She tried to smile, but it came off very weak. 'Stupid, Kiyoko! There is nothing to be scared of, there are no such things as monsters... there are no such things as monsters ....... there are no monsters.', she thought to herself, tightly closing her eyes and gulping down her fear somewhat over dramatically. 'There are no..', her eyes opened. '...such thing...', her eyes peered darkly into the shadows of the forest, a new bravery taking over her. '...as...', the shadows began to move and slowly took the form of three living beasts, her eyes widened and her ears pressed against her skull. Her mouth dropped open as she searched for the words. "MONSTERS!!!"
And then she was gone, the only thing left in where she once stood was the unsettled foliage she had stirred up in her frantic escape. Everything was black within her mind, she had no idea of where she was going or why she was running by the time she regained consciousness. She was back at the dens whens he finally stopped. She remembered something... Oh! Kiyoko and the puppies were playing pack! Her tongue lolled out of her maw and she turned around, expecting to see the three pups behind her, a large grin formed on her face. She stared at the horizon for a moment, looking for the now lost puppies, confusion apparent on her features, her jaw biting down on the tongue that was now only partially sticking out. With a shrug, she turned and headed deeper into Metnal territory with a happy tune in her head and a skip in her step.

Following close to Typhoon, she came to a stop next to him, eyes surveying the area around them with much interest. It was a bare, desolate land.... It seemed to be void of any signs of life. She was about to ask if perhaps they should continue when a fresh scent hit her nostrils. Of course it was the smell of life, the smell of pups. A brief look of confusion cross her features as she looked around.... wondering what could possible be taking place that the pups would be this far from the scent of their mother... then she remembered what Typhoon had told her earlier.. Doidle had reported back that the pups were wondering on their own now. When Typhoon stepped from the shadows, she was right there just a step behind him, her dial held almost as high as his but at the same time lower than his as she looked over the scene that was playing out before them.
A white fluffer ball of a pup took off, tail tightly wrapped between her legs. An invisible eye brow raised as Amaya wondered what a dog like that was doing int he Metnal pack... perhaps she would toughen with age.... Then her chocolate gaze turned to the remaining pups, taking them over one by one... these had to be the puppies that they had came from. A genuine smile crossed her features as she dipped her dial in a polite greeting to the pups, she allowed her banner to sway back and forth slowly in greeting before making it stop all together, her eyes looking over to her alpha for the next order.

She nodded as Kiyoko stuttered her request position, accepting it even if Chantal hadn't wanted to. Ondrea was ready to get on.... to get away from the borders so there wasn't a chance in hell that Erida could find them. Eyes turned to Chantal again, giving a nod and a quick wink. Her attention was stolen however, but Kiyoko whimping out and running back towards the pack land. Ondrea shook her head, trying not to laugh at the giant white pup with her tail ducked down between her legs.
"come on Chantal... lets get out of here before she brings mother back with her." her words were quick and hushed as she turned... eyes wide at the dogs she seen standing just behind her. Her hackles raised, teeth baring as she growled.... knowing that no matter what it would be a loosing fight. She backed up until she was side by side with her sister, a snarl still worn across her features. "Leave us alone." She said, Eyes darting around to find an escape...they had to get out of here.... the dogs in front of them were defiantly not Metnal members.... were their monsters after all? Fear had flooded her veins but she was forcing herself to try and remain in control... she couldn't run back to the pack lands. she couldnt. She pressed her side up against Chantal's, her throat releasing soft, short warning growls towards the unknown dogs.
ooc; sorry it is short.... both of them. next will be better.

Eyes narrowed of suspicion, as the pup followed his two siblings carefully into the forest of deeps. His haunches were, shoulder slumped. The spine tingled with anxiety and he caught some of Kiyoko's wave of fear. Hair on Thorn's back was up and the pup stood stiff.
"Come on, Thorn! You can come play too! It's just a game!" Thoughts were coursing through his mind at the moment. It's not just a game if your leaving your home pack... The pup ranted a bit in his head. It was true, no?
Stopping at a random location wasn't hard, yet it made that feeling in your gut that something bad will happen. For this instance, it was probably true. All safeness from the safe camp was gone, as the white den-mother apprentice sped off to Metnal's home base.
The next thing that happened was absolutely terrifying for Thorn's view of point. Big, muscled well, came a rottweiler. Friends, he would think, backing up the huge dog. Rumbles came from his throat, giving a defying stance. They were going to do heaven knows what.
Kidnap them? Kill them? Words were bouncing over his mind. They looked dangerous, even though it didn't actually feel as much. The atmosphere was calm, anxiety a bit mixed with it.
The pup wasn't sure if he'd be glad glad because the princesses were here, or be even more terrified, if it was even possible. They would back him up would they? Well it was no matter, he'd protect them anyways, he'd sell his life. They wouldn't take them away, Thorn wasn't going down knowing he'd failed. The pup walked in front of all the sister, expect for maybe Ondrea. He just stood beside her. The muscles tensed even more, turning a bit stiff.
The pup tried to muster as much air as possible. Holding it until their came a sharp bark in the air. Teeth bared, the pup was completly ready for the attack. The bark was more like a yap. Of course, it was weak and sounded more like a distress signal. It was a one-sided battle, Thorn was completely oblivious that the rottweiler was his own father. If they were even going to put up with a fight.

A playful smile split the young fae's maw, tongue lolling from it's toothy dungeon as Kiyoko's fear began to be forgotten once more. She held her ground, long whip waving slowly behind her as she watched the large pup rising from her crouch. Brown orbs touched on Thorn who had stayed at a slight distance, yet was still there taking up the rear of the pup pack. This was perfect! Now only if they could get Kiyoko to stop being so silly and get her moving so mother wouldn't find them. Just as Chantal's crown nudged to the side motioning for the Pyrenees to get a move on she was up and moving. The only problem was that she was moving in the complete opposite direction, tail tucked tightly between her rear legs. The mix breed pup's head fell off balance, flopped ears raising slightly as curiosity wrinkled her features. What was the matter with that dog? She was completely at ease around mother, yet around normal dogs she was a big old wimp.
Ondrea's words snapped her from her wonderment sending the little princess spinning on dainty paws only to come face to face with the "monsters" that had frightened Kiyoko away. A single tan brow rose in an unimpressed fashion as first the rottweiler and then german shepherd were examined visually. The growls coming from her sister were ignored and young Chantal stayed calm without a single strand of fur misplaced. Liquid pools washed to land on Thorn between blinks as he came rushing up with a loud, shrill bark as a devious smile found itself upon her maw. Attentions slowly made their way back to the two strangers, a smug look saturating her features.
She was alpha of this pack wasn't she? The only experience of alpha behavior she had was from her mother and she was playing it off better then any pup should. The calm, juvenile tones rang without a care toward the two adult dogs, "Who do you think you are coming to sneak up on my pack? Look what you did to my den mother! You nearly frightened her to death! Shame on you! A sharply angled maw pointed toward her brother and then her sister who both stood growling threateningly, or so they all believed. "Do you really think you could get to me without going through my guard and beta first? He'll tear you up and we'll feast on your carcasses!" The smug smile grew wider taking a step toward the Barzakh dogs. Now this was real fun!

Dark brown orbs shifted over towards Amayas own, an obvious laughter sparkling out of them. His soft smile was slowly etching its way upwards into a humorous grin as each pup, in turn, showed their lack of fear to the massive brute. He knew this was in no way funny to the three pups, but it was impossible to control himself. The ease of slipping into a fatherly playful attitude made him jubilant and even the puppies could see clearly how happy he really was.
A sharp, overly dramatic, intake of air was the first response given to the trio, his skull moving in Amayas direction, hoping she would see the glimmer of playful attitude within. "Oh my.", he first said, still looking at Amaya. Typhoons tongue clicked against the roof of his mouth, his blunt head slowly moving back and forth as if scolding something. He started his next words with his orbs still plastered to Amaya. "We're in trouble now, I'm afraid.". His attention shifted to the apparent 'Alphess' of the group, lowering his skull to her level. "And here I was thinking that these were our lands. How silly of me, indeed. I could never compete with you three at any rate, you're far too ferocious. I bet there isn't a creature on this island you couldn't rip to bits with those sharp little teeth of yours. Quite scary if I do say so myself." The brutes features had turned quite serious as he finished speaking. He looked the pups in the eye for a few seconds, shifting from one to the other before his head flew up into a more comfortable position, another gasp escaping his maw, his eyes widening with each second. "In fact, so scary that I can feel.. heart... gone...ugh!".
The brute seemed to faint and die before the very eyes of the pups with a loud thud, trying his best not to breathe much. With his back to them, he still had a great view of Amaya and there was no doubt she could see the grin creasing his features as he waited to see exactly what the pups would do. There was reasoning behind this act, although nothing he would take into complete regard at such a young age. How much had their mother manipulated them? Did they still have a heart worth saving? In the end, it didn't matter if they were three times the horror Erida was, he was going to do everything he could from this moment on to protect them.

Being pack Beta was an important role. To be basically second in command, taking direct orders only from the alpha herself, was an honor and a luxury some dogs would kill for. Overall, it was a vital duty and something to be taken seriously. Unless, of course, you were Scáth. The Metnal Beta was currently proving himself to be - yet again - the exception to the tacit label that his packmates had so ruthlessly carved out for themselves over time; as opposed to giving orders, patrolling borders, hunting for the pack or any other sensible, relevant task, the sinister Dutch Shepherd had chosen to indulge in a nice and most definitely unprofessional snooze. The black-brindle lay on his side, basking in the shade near the roots of a large Horse-chestnut tree, the image of relaxation. It was, of course, at a time when no one else was in the vicinity; no one to chastise him for sleeping on the job - not that many apart from Erida herself would be bold enough to dare do so - and no one to take advantage of this rare occasion where the infamous, unpredictable canine had his guard down. Supposedly. Off guard or not, Scáth could still strike as fast as a snake when provoked, and those jaws were the reputable 'jaws of death' that made would-be challengers keep their distance. However, it was not the 'jaws of death' that roused Scáth from his rather comfortable nap with the warning of intruders. The Shepherd's sharp nose caught the fresh scents with the change in wind direction; his sleepy subconscious named listed them off out of habit. KIyoko... Chantal, Ondrea... Thorn... Typhoon... Scáth's burgundy eyes snapped open.
Typhoon. Huh.
The Dutch Shepherd gave a short yawn and stretched, slowly rising up into an square, alert sit to scent the air again. There were other scents, too; scents he could not match names or faces to. Like Typhoon, though, they carried the distinct pack stench. Barzakh... Or something like that. Scáth had never been great at remembering the names of small little gangs, as usually he gave them a more fitting - at least, in his mind - nickname. Regardless, it did not matter.
"Team Neutral's in town at last, I guess, and making friends with Loony-beau and the pup squad... That's probably not a good thing."
Scáth considered whether he should go back to sleep. However, the situation at hand - and there was undoubtedly a situation, his canine intuition insisted - was unknown, involved Typhoon and three of the Metnal pups as well as an enemy pack, and was bound to be more interesting than living down to his dangerous reputation and up to his age. Five years was, after all, very much an adult age; not many dogs lived that long. Certainly not many were in as good a condition as Scáth. Additionally, Erida would doubtless be furious if he turned a blind eye, and he didn't want the hassle of having her on his back yet again. He'd been treading thin ice enough lately.
"So, scout-out mission it is. This should be fun..."
Scáth rose smoothly to his feet and limped casually in the direction of the scents, keeping downwind. They weren't that far, and he'd rather get a good look before making his presence known and being put in a position where he'd actually have to do something. Why did the enemies always invade when it was sunny?

Silas let out a long, deep yawn. He shook his bi-colored pelt and shook his head. He kept his head low, though looked off ahead, distractedly. He was alert and tense, but something in his eyes showed a deep lack of interest. He was to be there for Typhoon should anything happen. But right now he felt himself replaced by that cursed fae. Yes he was jealous, but not in the way you might think. He had sensed a connection between the two since she first showed up back on Barzakh territory. He already disliked any domesticated dog besides Typhoon, but he deeply disliked the shepherd fae. He gave a slight eye roll and faked a gag as they constantly made eye contact. His thoughts trailed back to Caela for the moment, but was brushed away with a shout of "MONSTERS!"
|
He looked up to see a ball of white bolt off into the distance. He then watched as Typhoon messed with a group of pups who had decided to be brave and order the adults around. He gave a smirk at their spunk, but then grimace. "Pups." He mumbled, rolling his pale brown orbs. They were Typhoon's pups alright. Not only in looks but in attitude. "Yeah, yeah yeah. This is all fine and dandy. Now can we take the little runts and go. I'd like to get back to sleep at some time." He announced, sarcastically. He pushed his long, dark front legs forward, stretching out, feeling the almost painful of each muscle tightening beneath his pelt. He pulled back up into an upright standing position and rotated his auds back, picking up on every little sound, no matter how faint. He pulled his lips back in an attempt to crinkle his nose in disgust. He despised pups that were not his own. It filled him with a dark sense of hatred and jealousy. He usually ran the pups off, but with Typhoon he wasn't going to be that cruel. He'd simply ignore the pups and avoid them. He turned his head away, focusing on something else. He then picked up on a faint scent that wasn't too far from their location. He cursed mentally and looked to Typhoon and Amaya. "Someone's coming." He announced, lowly. His voice flooded with bordome and disinterest, but just sharp enough to show alert. He was ready for a fight. It'd been far to long since he'd last seen some action. He only hoped he'd be so lucky on a day like this. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

She couldn't help but smile at the pups, even though all three had different attitudes. Sometime just did not seem right in the air, she heard the mumbled words from the dog next to her as Tyhoon fakes hid heart failure. Her banner stopped wagging, chocolate brown eyes shifting to the canine next to her, eyes narrowing slightly. Of course they needed to get out of here with the pups, or at least the ones that Ty wanted to get out of here with, however Typhoon was the leader... he should be the ones calling the shots. If Silas seriously felt this way then he should have stayed behind in the pack lands. With her eyes still narrowed she shook her dial in disappointment before returning her attention to her alpha, the corner of her maw twitching up into a smile.
Quickly the smile switched to a serious face as the beta of her pack spoke, someone was approaching. Hackles raising she moved quickly circling the pups protectively, eyes flickering around to all the surrounding noises and scents. She kept her dial level with her shoulders, her eyes alert to everything, while still managing to keep an eye on Typhoon waiting for his orders, she sat behind the pups facing the metnal pack territory, trusting her back to the members of the pack she belong to.. she trusted her alpha. She felt something touch her back, shivers flew up her spine, a low growl sounding from her maw until she realized it was the puppy... the one who had acted defensively at first. She heard the puppy whimper 'im not going back... i will not go back.' It was as if the pup was beginning her for protection, even though Amaya knew it wasn't so. There was to much strength in her voice.. even for a puppy.
She stood again, stepping back and over the pup,she looked down and smiled at the unsure face, allowing her tail to wag briefly before looking back up, eyes narrowed at the darkness that surrounded them, highly aware of the approaching danger.. even though she wasn't sure what was really coming... or how back it would be.

She was barely aware of her surroundings as the sound of her beating heart filled her ears. She was nervous, scared slightly, and a little more than unsure about what was going on. Chantal had stood tall and proud and made her move forward... she was trying to make herself seem braver... more in control. Thorn was trying to protect them, he was standing tall for the three of them... or at least trying to. Chantal apparently had more guts that Ondrea did... or perhaps it was something to do with the fact that Ondrea had more common sense. All three dogs were huge, unknown and they defiantly were not of the same pack as them. Eyes flickered back and forth.
When the Rotty fell, concern filled her eyes, he was dying.... she fought the urge to move forward, however words from another dog caught her attention... someone was coming. Then the shepherd like dog stood... circling them. Her sides begin to heave in an out quickly, her heard beating quickly. She needed protection.... oh ... nervousness.... mother was coming... mother would be mad. Fear seeped into her heart, her breath speeding up as she cast a wary glance in Chantal's direction... they would be punished... they would be killed. Mother would not allow then to live... they had tried to leave the packlands... oh how cruel is fate. She backed up, bumping into the shepherd like dog that had sat down behind her... Ondrea's muscles tensed.... she was about to get attacked. A whimper escaped her maw.
"im not going back... i will not go back.'" She knew that she was foolish for being the weakest of her siblings. Maybe not really the weakest, but she was showing it the most. She felt the shepherd stand, and he took a few steps back, standing above Ondrea. Brown eyes looked up at the large female dog as a smile crossed the shepherds features... a small amount of comfort settling in her body as she felt the dogs tail wag. Maybe they were friends.. maybe there were here to rescue them. Ondrea curled up in ball, her eyes looking for the larger rotty looking dog, She kept looking.. until she finally found him.
ooc; sorry both post suck... hope they are okay.

Pendulous auds fell back against her cranium as the big black dog fell to his side. A tan brow quirked curiously at his antics having no experience with adults actually playing. Everything was about business here, the serious lands of Metnal. Through the hard features there was a glint of interest, an urge to join in on the games. That spark was quickly put out as the urgency of the wolf's words touched her receptors, pulling them forward to better assess the conversation. These dogs were not welcome by Mother. Was that good or bad? Suddenly Chantal's heart paused seeming to drop to her toes. The aggressive stance the pup held moments before melted, the long tail curling weakly between hocks and pupils dashing wildly across the horizon.
Several steps were taken backwards head lowering to even itself out with her spine. Eyes narrowed in warning to the shepherd female now circling around the three pups like a buzzard. How stupid of them to congregate so closely together. If they had one then those trespassers had them all. There they sat like a school of fish in a bubble net just waiting for the predators to strike and swallow them whole. She quietly watched the interactions between her sister and the stranger, shooting the adult a warning glare. The entire presence of these dogs confused the young mixed breed. They were holding up the siblings' escape, putting them in serious danger. Yet, at the same time their company was rather comforting.
