Here we shall have several characters involved. This thread is where two of Erida and Typhoon's offspring will leave to join Barzakh. The events shall go as followed according to our plotting: 1. Erida shall have a bitch moment with Chantal and Ondrea which sends the two off on their own already brooding about their now dead sister. 2. Potential argument between Chantal and Ondrea and a/the pup(s) who will be staying with Metnal. 3. They will encounter Typhoon and any other Barzakh members who wish to join in. 4. Thorn sees what's happening and goes to warn Scath. This is the basic idea of how things were planning to go according to the plot thread located here. We're going to start this now as we need time for the Metnal side of it to get going before Barzakh can come into play. [bg=0b0121][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,false][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,400,true][atrb=background,http://i44.tinypic.com/35d4yds.jpg]
It was rather frustrating to have to live day after day like this. Guilt. It was something that the little doberman - rottweiler mix had not felt before now in her short life. It was a horrible feeling bubbling within her gut only to force her stomach to take twists and turns as if the life would be sucked right from her. How could she? How could their mother have her own daughter killed like that? How could she sit back and watch the majority of her offspring take the life of the youngest pup? Why did they do it? Would it have been better to just have her own life taken then to participate in the barbaric act of murder? They had called it survival of the fittest. Surely if it were one pack against the other, but amongst family didn't make much sense to the little princess.
There the pup lay, nothing but a black mark against the horizon. A black mark was what she felt represented her life, nothing good could come from her. A soft, pink belly rested upon a particularly jagged outcropping of stones wallowing in her own pity. Guilt was only the excuse to feel sorry for herself, to pity herself for having to endure such an experience. Perhaps for this one time in her life this was a good reason to feel such a way. A large, but still feminine, paw dangled over the edge of the rock she perched upon, slowly twitching at the ankle swaying the appendage mindlessly back and forth. Tan brows found themselves stitched together upon her forehead, wrinkles forming waves above the two light furred specks. Brown pools washed skyward taking in the beautiful hues of pinks, blues, and yellows as the sun's first rays began to dash across the blue backdrop. From the looks of it today would be another beautiful day upon the island. Only two small powder puffs were counted floating through the atmosphere so slowly that they seemed to sit stationary.
Although the day seemed to be nearly perfect a turmoil within made Chantal feel as if she wished the sun didn't rise, that the sky was doused in gray paint lit by random flashes of lightening followed by loud clashes of thunder. Part of the pup wanted to hold her tongue out of fear of rejection or disapproval from her mother, yet another portion felt she should stand up to that foul creature that killed her younger sibling. For now she would find herself here, waiting to bask in the morning's warmth.

His gaze looked up at the sky, seeing only two puffs of white slowly moving across the sky. High above, it was it's usual rosy pink, with orange of every hue, and everything else in between.
The sun would be up soon, as it almost always was. He walked through through the rocks, mostly to find Chantel, resting only up on another stone, waiting for the sunlight. She looked...off today. Not her princess self for sure. Maybe she'd finally be nice to him, after all. Small pads started to walk it's way towards the sibling, a hopeful grin on his face. His tail was wagging in a playful way. Soon, the Metnal pup caught up, and prodding lightly at Chantel's sides, trying on getting her attention.
Strangely, Thorn never felt guilt, at least not yet. His bloodline showed, that he loved to kill and mustered the blood lust that Erida had probably gone for. The pup never said a word either, because nothing ever came out of the vocals, or so thought. Every time he tried, he failed. Everybody knew, and it posed great danger in the future.
Even so, as Thorn waited for Chantel to react. The slate they were on was cold as he sat down. A shiver made his fur stand up. It was expected, since the dawn had only just begun. The winds from Devil's Ridge was strong, and the sun had not cast it's rays on the earth below. A small sigh came through the pup, it was the cycle of things. Was it not?

Oh what a glorious day! Kiyokos mind was tumbling over all the fun things she needed to explore as she stood near the top of the ridge, allowing the constant breeze to flow through her long pelt. A large grin was plastered, as always, across the young Pyrenees maw. Never knowing exactly what she herself was up to, her eyes scanned the horizon and treeline that bordered the Metnal territories. Although Kiyoko often found herself outside of Metnal lands, she was always warned not to enter this particular treeline. Something about big, mean, stupidheaded doggies. A low growl rumbled around in her chest before it escaped into a loud, shrill bark. This noise scared Kiyoko more than it would have with any other canine. Her back feet swiveled around, eyes wide, tail between her legs. Her eyes frantically scanned her surroundings looking for whatever menacing creature could have made such and awful sound.
Just as quickly as she had turned, all seemed forgotten. Her tongue lolled back out of her mouth and her gaze towards the Barzakh lands continued. That's when she noticed it. Two dark lumps lay down the hill. And at that particular moment, Kiyoko remembered something. PUPPIES!, and she was off. Her mind barely had the chance for the realization of who they were to hit her before she was running as fast as she could towards the pair. Faster and faster her legs went. Kiyoko was going faster than she ever had before. If someone were watching her face, the sudden change in expression would have been comical as she realized the incline of the hill was far too steep for the pace she was going. Her face went from pure excited bliss to complete horror as her paws began to quickly miss steps. What started out as a few continuous trips, had now quickly turned into a skidding mass of while headed straight for the two puppies. Dust and debris came out from all sides of her massive frame as she tried to stop herself. It was too late.
Unable to stop, her body slammed into the very place where the two puppies had previously been. Fortunately, she had been able to slow herself enough to cause no real harm to anyone that would have been in her way. When her once white body finally came to a rest, she laid there for a moment almost appearing as if she were dead. Then suddenly, her head shot up in the air as her eyes frantically scanned the area around her before she laid eyes on the pups. Tongue lolling back out, eyes squinted in delight, she rose from her downed position. Her white pelt was now a dusty brown colour, debris and small rocks clung to her fur and she bothered not to shake them off as she trotted up to the pair. "Ohhh hello! You two should not be here, no no. Very dangerous monsters eat little puppies when they go too close to those woods." If no one else believed Kiyokos story of monsters, Kiyoko did. Her eyes went wide with fear after she reminded herself of the crazy ones beyond the trees.

The sound of small foot falls caught the young mixed breed's attention, each sound seeming to lift pendulous auds higher upon her skull. As the sound grew louder it was apparent that the originator of the steps was approaching. Her small head was lifted from it's perch, twisting around toward the approaching canine. Light brown optics hid and reappeared from behind lids to clear her vision and see her brother much more clearly. Jowls pulled tightly back in the form of a small smile, a long whip cord scraping along the boulder on which she rested sending dust and debris scattering from its path. No matter how stuck up the little princess was, she truly did care about her brothers and sisters...well sister. Perhaps deep down she knew she had to impress mother to avoid the same fate that their youngest sibling had endured.
As her mute brother began to poke at her ribcage a low sound vibrated within her chest, escaping in the form of playful growls. It seemed that she didn't have much opportunity to play with Thorn as she was typically trying to be a good little puppy and prove herself to be princess material. Small jaws parted, sharp needle like teeth grasping gently at her brother's paw. After only a half of a moment her frame was up upon over-sized paws allowing her more of an opportunity to stand up to him in the play battle.
The joyful growling was soon interrupted by the sound of what only sounded like an avalanche of debris cascading down the ridge, and soon following stones began pelting off of the very boulder on which the two pups were wrestling upon. Wrinkles folded themselves within the little fae's canvas as her tiara spun around to view the giant, white beast sliding toward them. Orbs rounded in surprise, her maw falling slightly agape as a swoosh of air was pulled through the hole in the form of a gasp. Almost immediately Chantal rammed her head into her brother's shoulder in an attempt to push him out of the path of the one who was in charge of looking after the queen's litter. It was a surprise that with the Great Pyrenees's antics that she hadn't accidentally crushed the doberman/rottweiler mixes yet.
Just as the white mass skidded to a halt the little pup leaped into the air, all four paws landing right on top of the furry dog just in time to ride out the very last moment. Chantal's jaws parted, tongue lolling gleefully over tiny enamels as that whip lashed through the air at lightening speed. "Oh! Kiyoko, can we do that again?!" Chantal could hardly control the manic giggles bubbling through the atmosphere. She always had such fun with the big goofy dog. As the sitter went on about monsters and such the pup's expression didn't chance other then a large tilt of her head and a lift of the highest placed aud. "You're so silly! There's nothing scarier then Metnal out there!" With that she hopped from her white pedestal onto the dusty earth below, gaze piercing into the forest. A deep growl rumbled within her before being admitted in the loudest, most terrifying bark she could muster at such a young age. The force of the sound lifted all four paws from the ground in a crow hop. Surely she would scare anything Kiyoko was frightened of away.

Guilt had been weighing on Ondrea for a while now... she was annoyed, uncomfortable, and ashamed. Why did she allow her mother to manipulate her like that? Well that was simple... one just didn't eve disobey the Queen. Her brown eyes rolled in annoyance at her own mental answer to herself. It was stupid, foolish and simple arrogant for a leader to expect her pack to do every little single thing that she ordered them to do. Just thinking about it made the hackles on the back of her neck rise. She was heading towards the woods to go adventuring on her own when she spotted her brother and sister on the horizon. She had been avoiding them at nearly all cost as of lately, and now here she was.... not to far away. She thought about walking over and instead trying to get them to play while mother wasn't around... but before she could decide she noticed another dog in the area.
Her muscles tensed up, knowing that the adults didn't like the puppies this close to the woods that Ondrea herself had been planning on exploring... however the dog that when barging up the hill towards her siblings was merely a pup herself. Ondrea allowed a tight-lipped smile to spread across her kissers as the large white fae almost slide directly into her siblings, Chantal barely escaping the weight of the girl as she landed onto of her. From here Ondrea could here her sisters maniac laugh of fun. Ondrea's dial tilted slightly to the side, it had been a long long time since she had heard that laugh. Without further hesitation the black and tan pup took off towards her siblings and friend... her banner wagging like made behind her.
When she made it up the hill she allowed her ears to twitched slightly. "Hey Chantal, Thorn, Evenin' Kiyoko" She said, allowing her banner to continue waving slightly, though not nearly has hard as before. She didn't speak again... she wasn't entirely sure if she would be welcome here....

This was the day he had been waiting far too long for. Now, although he knew it would happen, his pacing on the beach in Barzakh territory could suggest to some that he was reconsidering this option. It was hardly the case, though. What he was fumbling with was what exactly he planned on doing. It wasn't like the large, well known canine could just skip on into Metnal territory and speak to his puppies in private. Doidle had assured him that Erida had been spending less and less time with the youngsters. Assured him that she saw the Queen creeping out of Metnal territory. Assured him that now was the time. There might not be another chance. Being killed in Metnal lands wasn't a worry to him. What his bloodline could possibly become if he were killed, and there was no one left to save them, was what made everything so worrisome. With all the stresses laid upon him on this day, the one welcoming factor of it all was the fact that Typhoon was feeling something. Emotion was bubbling just under his surface. Excitement. Worry. A fatherly intuition that forced him to feel the need to save his family from the worst.
All his motions stopped short as his neck crained up towards the sky, a deep sigh escaping his lungs. He was ready. So far, Doidle was the only pack member that was willing to join him on this trek. Typhoon had kindly declined her, knowing that the small terrier would cause more trouble than she was worth. The Alpha was not going to ask anyone to go, but if someone approached him and asked him, he would allow it. Typhoon had no plan. There was little need to create one without knowing anything about what he was seeking. He knew where to look, the caves would be his first place. But other than that.... Typhoon watched the clouds swirling above him, turning darker with each passing second, threatening to drench him sooner rather than later.
He needed to speak to Silas.
OOC: Kinndaaa short, but Typhoon/Silas will be heading to the pups shortly. We don't want to just arrive there and be all "ohemgee wtf are we doin?!" and such. ^.^

The darkness of the cave soothed and relaxed him. He laid on a higher rock in the back of the cave. His long, lean body lay stretched out on the smooth rock. One dark paw hung over the edge, while the other was partially tucked into his chest. His head laid flat on the rock, eyes closed and resting peacefully. His fur twitched from a light breeze, then his right ear twitched and turned forward, at the sound of footsteps. The brute pulled his head off the rock and shook his head, waking himself up. He blinked twice, focusing his vision. His pale brown eyes picked up on a set of tan paws, that were very familiar.
A smirk pulled at the brute's dark maw as he pulled himself up onto all four feet. He shook his hole body, auds twitching, randomly. He dipped down, stretching his front legs out and yawned, deeply. Shaking out his pelt again, Silas hopped off the rock and padded toward the cave entrance. He dipped his head low as usual and stepped into the bright sunlight, letting it warm his musky flaxen fur. His smirk grew as he saw that his assumption was correct. The Barzakh Alpha had wandered passed the cave Silas was laying in. He came closer, seeing that the Alpha was looking for someone.
"Looking for something?" He asked, voicing his thoughts. His voice was lower than usual, seeing as he just woke up. He cleared his throat as best as he could and looked around. It then occurred to him that this may be the day he accompanied Typhoon on the mission to abduct his puppies from the Metnal pack. He gave a low groans, he couldn't stand pups that were not his own. He slowly began to question why he even bothered going along. This was going to be a long day.

A frantic giggle directly followed by a snort at the young princesses laughter. She did have fun too! It was painful, but fun! Her large front paws began to dance around chaotically, trying to burn off some of the extra energy that had built up in her muscles. Of course, once Chantal had mentioned scary things, everything stopped. Her tail went between her legs and with her back hunched, she crawled her way over to the pups, trying to hide behind their small forms. "Oh, n-no, Chantal. M-metnal is not scary, we are very nice and lovable and playful and f-full of happy! Th-there are dogs twenty foot high in th-those jungles." Kiyoko was full of imagination, and all she was imagining now was being gulped up by the ferocious canines that lurked just on the Metnal border. Her back legs slightly trembling from the thought. She would never get to sleep tonight.
Alas, in typical Kiyoko fashion, all was quickly forgotten when a new pup arrived on the scene. Ondreas voice shattered all fear that dwelled within the over sized puppy. Kiyokos tail whipped out from in between her legs and started waving in the air frantically, thudding against the pups she was previously cowering behind. First, her legs started to bounce around in an awkward standstill dance before she abruptly started making her way over to the young fae. It was surely a comical scene. Kiyoko didn't understand rank, and although these puppies did outrank her, her constant show of submission was more a game than anything she actually took into account.
When she reached Ondrea, a large pink tongue lolled out of Kiyokos maw and slammed right against the puppies cheek, slurping up her taste until the young metnal princess was sopping wet from Kiyokos love. "Hi!", Kiyoko yelped as she slammed her haunches onto the ground, waiting for her reward. All she needed was for the young fae to acknowledge her, that would be the biggest treat anyone could ever give this large, fluffy Pyrenees. And she didn't appear to be going anywhere until she got it. Her amber eyes were dead set on the puppy, wide with anticipation.

Needless to say, at a much younger age, she and most of her siblings were aware of the truth about their birth pack. Maybe there was truly some Erida within that little black and tan fae as an evil spark twinkled within chocolate eyes. Suddenly the light footed gait of another canine yanked her attention away. A small dial twisted around so fast it looked like it may continue on it's journey to roll down the remainder of the hillside. A long, whip lashed behind her in greeting to her sister, though brows furrowed curiously. Ondrea seemed to be down, just as she was a few moments before the arrival of the rest of the group. A quick "hi!" was offered to her sister before pouncing away from the small gathering of youngsters.
Lanky limbs side passed over one another bringing her down the rocky incline. Optics were narrowed mischievously at the big white dog as she tossed her weight toward Ondrea. It seemed she was successful at reaching the treeline as silently as the young dog could manage, and being unseen by the older pup. There she stood, rear stuck into the shade of the wood, chest puffed out and tiara held high with a mocking grin upon her face. This was something Chantal had been considering for the last few days. She had seen the expressions of her siblings, of her mother, and of the other Metnal members. If anything, Chantal was good at reading others. It seemed few cared about the death of their youngest sister. By the seemingly empty gaze her sister, Ondrea, held masked by a playful attitude she had to be in the same mental and emotional predicament.
Chantal let out a loud, demanding bark toward the other three youngsters, smirk still slithering across her short maw, "So, you guys want to come with me? I'm gonna start my own pack." Everything said was so matter of fact, as if it would be stupid to doubt her words. It would be perfect in Chantal's mind. She thought the idea so she got to be the queen! And she could get away from the vile creatures that called Metnal home. At the same time it was quite amusing to imagine Kiyoko wandering the unknown forests, wondering what lurked around every bush and each tree. Brows rose, and the thin skin along her muzzle lifted in disgust, "I can't be around these stupid dogs here any more. So...either you come...or you can run home to Mommy and hope she doesn't eat you next." With the last word a cloud of mucus was shot from nares in the form of a snort, and her frame pirouetted upon little paws. High steps began to march her further into the forest to show she was serious, in reality she had no plans of going much further without somebody else....anybody else . Ears lay against her skull listening behind her for any sign of them following. It was a new form of Follow The Leader.

She padded towards the area that Typhoon's scent was leading her. She had heard him talk about his pups, about how he wanted to get them back... and she knew that the time to do so was coming soon. More or less, gut instinct told her that it was going to be here a lot sooner than she had originally thought it would be. She had her dial hanging level with her shoulder blades, chocolate eyes scanning the area in front of her as twin peaks swirled around on her dial catching any noise that was audible for her to hear. Her banner was laying flat against her rump. She was not so sure as to what to think about everything going on in the pack lands at the moment... however she knew that no matter what Typhoon was her alpha, she would follow him blindly into a field of death if he so much as order. Loyalty was a big thing to Amaya, so was trust and faith.
Today though, she was not looking for the male because he had ordered her to do so. She was looking for him to offer her services. He had offspring, and that offspring should not be forced to stay within the Mental pack lands. Typoon didn't deserve to know that his pups were more than likely being mistreated and meeting all sorts of fate worse than death itself... His offspring did not need to be monsters due to their mothers sick ways. Her ears twitched as her Alpha came into view. Her dial lifted slightly, noting his stance and demeanor. He seemed to be searching for answer up in the sky, Amaya didn't want to interrupt such a private moment, if it was her she knew that she would not want to be broken from her search... maybe some answers do lie up there... if you look hard enough to find them.
"Looking for something?" The males voice had broken the silence and had gotten Amaya's attention nearly immediately. The other dog was black... perhaps a wolf mix or a shepherd mix? Whatever breeds he was... she was not too sure. She hadn't really came across him before either. She could tell, by his scent, that he was indeed a member of the pack... there wasn't too much for her to worry about here. Perhaps he would aid in the stealing of the pups that Typhoon wished to take... perhaps Amaya's gut instinct had been correct and today was indeed the day that the pups would be taken away from their bitch of a mother.
"Good Evening Lord Typhoon, Sir. She said nodding to each of the dogs as she spoke to them. "I am here to tell you M' Lord that I wish to accompany you into the Mental territories... I wish to help you." |
She was a bit unsure of how he would react to her offer, however she didn't worry to much... maybe... maybe he would accept it... or maybe she would just sneak along behind them waiting for her chance to help out. [/blockquote]

The slightly disappointed female watched as her sister took off with nothing but a short and simple hi before doing so. However she wasn't left to stare after her for long before Kiyoko covered her in wet dog slobber. It slightly freaked her out. She fought the urge to show her disgust though as she smiled, tail wagging, faking such emotions as happiness at the time being. It was hard to be happy when the weight of murder was weighing down on her shoulders. God she needed to get out of here. She spared a nod towards Thorn as she turned, taking off after her sisters, not a word being spoke to either of the other pups. That was when she saw Chantal, towards the woods. Ondrea froze, paws skidding to a stop as her sisters voice sounded out across the distance. Without thinking to much, Ondrea hauled ass after her.
When she caught up, her salmon hued tongue dangled slightly from her muzzle in a soft pant. They were in the woods now... hopefully they wouldn't turn back. "Chantal... I don't think you can run a pack by yourself just yet." The words were barely audible and said in a rather polite tone. Ondrea was not entirely used to trying to like the princess of the pack, however... maybe she had changed? Either that or she was tried of being second only to their mother. The thought made her almost want to turn back... only the thought of going back to the dreadful place full of nothing but bloody memories and nightmares was not something that she wanted to do.
"I mean, I have faith in you... but it will be hard.... right? I am not going back though. I am so sick of mother and her heartless ways! I am filled with guilt from slaying our sister... we shouldn't have done it... we were her puppets Chantal, her god damn puppets."
Anger filled the pup again, and she picked up her speed, not caring if Chantal picked up hers or not. She just had to get out of here, away from the pack... away from the memories. Maybe she could put it all behind her. Was that even possible?

Typhoon, when the fool was lost in his own thoughts, he made an awful Alpha. Dropping all else but the whirlwind within his mind, the large brute didn't realize that he had been approached by not one, but two different canines. The first voice startled him so that a quick jerk of his body in the direction of Silas directly came after the wolfs first syllable. 'Think of the devil...', Typhoon thought as a wide grin appeared on his maw, moving towards the male. Before a single word had a chance to leave the Alphas maw, Amaya approached and spoke. He stared at her while she offered him so much respect, obvious confusion sweeping his features. When the Shepard finished, the Alpha couldn't help the deep chuckle that rose from his chest, taking a few steps in her direction. "Amaya, darling. You make me feel foolish. I'm no more special than you are. I was just the first to arrive on scene." Warm emotions crossed his face, smiling admiralty at the fae. Her loyalty was definitely something that deserved admiration. Although Erida herself most likely expected her pack to speak to her in such a manner, Typhoon had not had much of a chance to reveal himself, he was an extremely laid back leader. Only helping those whom needed his help, he didn't expect what Amaya offered by any means. He wanted to blend with his pack.
Typhoon blinked away the warmth that overcame his heart upon Amayas arrival, trying to force a more serious expression to take it over, because if any time was the time to be serious, this was it. As he spoke, he looked back and forth between the two pack mates, looking at both of them directly in the eyes to gauge their reactions. "I don't ask or expect either of you to join me, this is my war, not yours. Although I would be ecstatic if you wish to come on your own accord.", he paused, smiling at both his Beta and Amaya before continuing. "I think that now is the time. Doidle has expressed to me that the pups are capable of surviving on their own without a mother now. They may very well already be brainwashed by Erida, but I'm still willing to try to convince them. I have no idea about how this will happen. Erida is gone, I know that much. Unfortunatly, most of her followers are just as vicious as she is." Typhoon spoke from complete experience, he had seen first hand what some of them were capable of, especially her second in charge, Scath. A heavy sign came from his chest as visably as it was vocal. "I'm ready to get this over with, I'm so tired of hating."
The large brute suddenly looked as if he were trying to carry a ton of bricks on his back, his posture looking weighed down. He wasn't about to waste any more time, every day hating the Queen of Metnal forced him into a dark world he was afriad he could never escape. The brute turned his body in a half circle, a proud smile crossing his features. Proud of Silas and Amaya for their courage. He glanced at both of them before speaking once more. "With no further delay...", he said as he started walking in the direction of the forest, then to Metnal territory, hoping with each step that the two canines would soon be at his sides.

More or less relieved when his sister had pushes him out of harm's way. He followed the pups silently, through the rocks and farther away from the den.
Quickjly shaking his head to the princess's offer, the pup was bewildered at going from Metnal. He considered Metnal home. Thorn could not simply voice his opinions at this matter. The smile had faded into a small frown. His sisters were leaving. Leaving where? Leaving with who to avoid the dangers of the forest?
A low growl came from the pup. His eyes were large from the surprise of leaving. Even if he liked to kill, Thorn cared. Either way, both Chantel and Ondrea were hating this lifestyle, that the pup, frankly didn't mind. The made his heart sink lower. He adored] them. Even if they were a bit spoiled rotten.
Auds folded back against the skull. It was a bad idea if Mother found out. More or less would probably lash out at anyone. This was the next generation of Metnal. This was the Alphess' pups. A mean one, at that.

A full pout formed on Kiyokos face as her silent plea for attention was completely dismissed by Ondrea. The large white ball of fluff looked completely pitiful, as if she had just been scolded for something she didn't understand, as she watched the two female pups head closer to the monster-lands. Of course, Kiyokos mind was too pre-occupied with her misery to connect salivating beasts with the forest again. Just when the naive Pyrenees began to remember the horrors she told herself dwelled within the thick forest, something else caught her attention.
When it came to Kiyoko, play always trumped fear. And in an instant, Kiyoko was back to her usual happy-go-lucky self. She rose from her haunches and trotted merrily down to the youngsters just as Chantal was disappearing into the darkened entanglement of trees. Oh, how wonderful! They were all going to play pack! Kiyokos mind fluttered through the possible roles she would want to play, a deeply concerned look washing over her features as she stepped off of the Metnal border, right into Barzakh territories. Oh! She had it. She would pretend to be a Den Mother... how much fun would that be! As soon as the realization of who she wanted to pretend to be came to her, a long pink tongue lolled from her maw, bouncing as happily as her own body was toward her new Queen, passing the two other puppies. Giggling ecstatically, she finally caught up to Chantal. "Oh, Prin... Queen Chantal! What shall we do today? Can we go hunt monster, pleeasee!?"
Oops. And there it was. The fear returned, her happy trot ceasing, her body crumpling into itself, tail between her legs... her eyes shooting in every direction. Silly Kiyoko.

Silas gave a low yawn, stretching out his lithe frame. Pushing his front legs out as far as they'll go, feeling the strain of each muscle loosening up. He gave a content groan, pulling back into an upright standing position, his head hung low as usual. He shook out his musky pelt and shook his head. Relieving himself of any drowsiness. It would do no good to be fatigued on the mission. He still couldn't help but wonder why he even agreed to go. His only reason was to have Typhoon's back. Of all the strange canines, he trusted the Rottweiler. He wasn't sure why, but he felt sympathetic for what had happend. The feeling tore at his chest, along with the guilt he;d feel if he refused.
Silas despised pups. Well pups that were not his own. But the mere thought of letting Typhoon go alone and risk getting hurt and losing the pups forever, tore at his conscience. He wouldn't allow it, it made him think of what pups he'd have in the future. If they were in trouble, would he simply turn his back and leave. He shook off the dreadful thought, looking down at his dark paws. A low growl reverberated from his deep chest. His pale eyes flicked back up as the Alpha began moving toward the forest. He had just now noticed the German Shephered fae that had approached. He glared at her and move to take a position along side Typhoon. Call it jealousy, but Silas didn't exactly want the fae to come along. It was more protective instincts than jealousy, really.
He kept his head down and kept in step with Typhoon. He shook his pelt and sighed quietly. He didn't want to complain after getting such praise from his Alpha. But he knew sooner or later it'd come out. For now he kept his head down, thinking to himself. He rotated his auds, picking up on every little sound, his muscles tensing a little. He kept on alert, just in case something should happen. He glanced to Typhoon, then down again. His pelt shook again and he dipped his head back to bite at his fur. Anxiety made his skin itch, be bit at his pelt, harder. Growling at himself, he snorted and looked back forward. He kept to himself, his optics focused on every little movement. He wanted to be prepared for anything.
