However only the minority of the population know these beasts are real and even less people risk their lives in order to keep them at bay. These individuals are branded as hunters.
The Winchesters are no strangers to the paranormal. Subsequent to the death of his wife, Mary, John Winchester crossed the threshold into the life of a hunter, coming face-to-face with the monsters that go bump in the night and the creatures known worldwide through religion and myth. His boys were introduced to the business at a very young age, becoming use to their father’s escapades and constant absence in their lives.
Dean admired his dad, viewing him as a hero and role model. The elder brother learned how to ward off malicious spirits and shoot a gun, while Sam wanted nothing more than a normal life. Over the years the family separated, Dean loyally following John to Hell and back if need be, and Sam alienating himself from the supernatural.NOW
A college student with a pretty girl on his arm, Sam was living the ordinary life he always wanted. However, his future dreams and goals were cut short when Dean unexpectedly showed up, destroying his picture perfect world. Ever since their mother’s death, John tirelessly pursued the being that murdered her and recently acquired the lead he had been looking for. Sam never dreamed of joining the hunt or tracking down a demon, however after the creature murdered his girlfriend, Jessica, he became determined to witness its demise. Leaving everything he once knew behind he willfully joined his brother on a journey consisting of many secrets, bloodshed, and surprises. Because what they don’t know is that this is just the beginning of a war larger than anything anybody has ever seen before—and they’re smack-dab in the middle of it.
