Before applying for a position please read through what is involved as you will be expected to fulfill your duties. Those who consistantly do not meet the requirements of their position will be demoted after 2 warnings. I understand that everybody has life outside of Abaddon, however in order for the forum to run smoothly everybody must do their parts. Leadership roles are not handed out lightly and are taken very serious on this forum. However, please note that the "jobs" for each role are not extremely time consuming or difficult
.:.Alpha Pair/ Chief Couple.:.
These positions must be filled by dedicated and responsible characters. They have moderator rights and as with any other forum moderators are responsible for reporting any rule breaking. They are also responsible for drawing up pack/tribe only rules (to be approved by Erida). They also must keep the Pack/Tribe Status updated and approve breedings/children. They may split the duties between themselves or simply do what needs to be done while one is signed on. These positions also have the ability to approve applications.
.:.Beta Pair/Shaman.:.
These positions are second in command to the Alpha/Chief. If an Alpha/Chief is away their duties are yours for the time of their departure. They moderate the boards for any rule breaking and contact Erida if they find a thread with such. They are also expected to attend Staff Meetings and offer to assist when possible when a needed task is posted.
.:.Healer.:.
The healers of packs use the earth and magic to heal the wounded. They know how to use herbs and other natural plants and items to heal those who have been injured or are ill. They are a vital part of any pack.
.:.Warrior.:.
Warriors are those who have dedicated their lives to the fight. They usually make excellent hunters and have been honing their skills for most of their lives. They are at the front line of battle, and will stop at nothing to protect their pack.
.:.Apprentice.:.
An apprentice studies under a particular wolf within the pack specializing in a position. There can be an apprentice healer, warrior, artist, trainer, and even den mother. Each wolf may only have a single apprentice at a time and will teach their apprentice everything they know about their position within the pack.
.:.Trainer.:.
The trainer of a pack assists those that are new to role-play or simply would like some help or practice. We will have a training board where the trainers will become moderators and allowed to practice, create helpful documents, and do anything else to teach those new to RP or just help some oldtimers that ask for it. I think this will be an important part of Abaddon as it will assist those who may be pushed away from other forums due to inexperience.
.:.Den Mother.:.
The den mothers' main job is to look after the pups of the pack. They become like second parents helping to rear the young from protection while the adults are away, to teaching them life lessons.
.:.Pup.:.
Any character below the age of 1 year is considered a pup. While a pup they may not hold any other position, and must begin to apprentice at the age of 1. Each pup will be required to choose an apprentice position upon their first birthday. As puppies it's all about fun and learning!
