Where do I go from here? That was a question Kento asked himself often. His eyes were tired, his feet hurt, and most of all, his heart ached. Right as things were getting better, when he knew that he didn't have to be alone anymore, he was. What happened to Mrs. O'Leary? Why did she leave him like his old family? Kento was beyond hurt, and didn't know what to do with himself. He aimlessly wandered around, not entirely sure where he was headed anymore. It didn't even dawn on him that he had wandered into a forest, or that he was miles away from civilization. All Kento was thinking about, was what he was going to do now. He didn't have any friends that he could follow, so looking for them wouldn't help his situation at all. Kento continued walking down the dirt path. His paws cupped the leaves as he walked, twigs snapping beneath the weight of his body pressing down on his feet. Many would find it strange to see a Husky aimlessly wandering around a forest, but for Kento, it was the only thing he could do anymore.

The forest here ran with a lush greenness that soothed the sturdy troubled fae. A flicker of amber, the brush of rusted cream might be seen through the verdant plant life. It was a rare chance that Kahlua took to wander the lands outside her own pack's territory. Even as she settled into the life of a hunter, she still had not managed to find that sense of self that she'd carried without thought, back before the Lab.
She'd been a prize, her Lady had pampered her while she'd sang for the woman's enjoyment. But eventually she'd been cast aside for better things. He had tried to break her spirit using whatever means that crossed his sadistic mind. But she'd stood solid, never weaving from the path of dignity that she'd chosen. But her determination had been her folly, in a fit of rage she'd been sold off once again, to a large compound across the rolling waters. In the darkness, amid the unnatural cries from canine throats and mangled bodies, Kahlua finally broke, shattered across the rocks much like the oceans waters upon the cruel emotionless rock. Since that moment she'd lived life in a cloud, lost and alone.
Roughly padded paws moved carefully through the towering trunks, weaving around the occasional shrub that braved life, reaching for the furtive sunlight being gobbled up above. Stiff twins flicker at that sound of another's pads touched and lifted from the moist earth in an aimless rhythm. Attention shifted while that visage froze. The tarnished gold of her gaze sweeping across the forest floors in time to catch sight of a Husky. For a moment she stood still watching his progress, debating what she should do.

It didn't dawn on Kento that he was not the only one occupying the area. He was too focused staring into the small stream, looking at his reflection as it rippled from the small fish that occupied it. He sighed, not entirely sure what to do with himself. His ears pressed back against his head as the memory of Mrs. O'Leary passing played over and over again in his head. He whined a bit, feeling completely lost and alone. The cool wind ruffled his fur, making each follicle dance to a silent tune.
His ears soon perked forward, for a cool breeze was not the only thing presented to him. The scent of another filled his nostrils, making his head turn in every direction to see where the other canine was located. His brown orbs surveyed the area, knowing that this other canine could be anywhere. Sure, he could work harder by standing up and looking around, but Kento thought that staying right where he was, was perfectly fine. " Hello?" He said, voice a bit shaky. Kento wasn't used to this outdoors thing, so he was scared. This was a completely new scene for him, and it would take a while to getting used to.
