Alpha and Beta Auditions

We are now holding auditions for the Alpha and Beta Positions. Please note that anybody who is applying must have the character active so we can see how the character is and determine if it's the right fit for the position, also you must be up to date and active with all of your current characters. One of the most important things we are looking for besides for character fit is an active member. We do not expect you to be here daily, but we do request that you check in at least every few days and do keep your characters active.

There is no set end date for the auditions. Once we feel we have found the perfect choice for the new alpha, and once the alphas choose their betas auditions will end.

Why you think your character would make a good leader in this pack:
- Experience:Scáth is one of the older and more experienced pack members, who has no problem with killing but also has no problem with dealing with the concequences before, after and in between. He is a powerful, capable dog, adept at fighting both physically and verbally.

-Strength of Character: Though he's not the most reliable when it comes to daily chores, Scáth can handle the most extreme of situations without batting an eyelid, and has never shown fear or uncertainty.

- Status:
He is also one of the few Metnal members who Erida seems willing to tolerate, even though such tolerance has been put under strain recently. The Metnal alphess is the only one Scáth seems to listen to.

- Reputation:
Lastly, although not openly dominant in his pack, Scáth receives little competition from his fellow Metnal members in his daily activities due to the wariness and fearful respect his scarred, sinister presence induces.

What will you be willing to contribute to the forum:
I'm a rather modest member (and a pessimist); I see only two things of significance that I can and will offer to this forum.
1. My experience as a Rper. I can easily type up a post of 400 words or more. I am patient and courteous with those I RP with (or at least, I like to think I am) and am always willing to get involved in plots with other members.
[I'm not the most forward or outgoing person around, but I always try to be civil and never let my feelings affect my posts; as Scáth demonstrates beautifully (I'm not an amoral psychopath with a twisted sense of humor in RL, honest xD)]

2. My time. Basic, right? My life is not the most peaceful; I have exams, study sessions, pets and several social relationships to nurture. Still, I make sure to come on as often as I can, and even if it seems I haven't posted in a while doesn't mean I'm not composing a reply on Wordpad (or on my super-handy, uber-portable Death Note drabble notebook ^^). I have two active characters and currently this is the only RPG Forum I am on.

I definitely think Eri would willingly appoint Scath as her Beta. She actually has a respect for him and values his opinion and overall presence (to the point where she even has a bit of a crush on the crazy guy which isn't a common occurrence). And of course everybody loves Scathy I shall update the ranks.

Why you think your character would make a good leader in this pack:
Sphinx is bitter, one of the personalities of the pack. Her politeness is the main point, with the other feelings hidden deep inside. Her leadership skills are excellent, being bitter to most dogs so she may pick choices more easily. She is fairly strong, yet her quickness and stamina makes up for it.

What will you be willing to contribute to the forum:
I am on nearly everyday, and post about 400 words or more on good days, 300 on basic. I have a life, yet it isn't very scheduled. Sometimes, I can be rude and highly obnoxious,yet I, myself usually notice it and hurry to correct it. My posts are not yet very descriptive, yet it is detailed enough no? While I'm not chattering on the c-box, I'm usually on here and another site most of the times.

Why you think your character would make a good leader in this pack: He's a bold take no crap type of guy. Even though he might seem all coldish on the outside he's actually extremely loyal and very protective of his pack mates. He combines both intelligence and strength when in a leadership position, and has no problem pausing to listen to others. Of course that doesn't mean he'll take their advice but at least he listens before making a choice.
What will you be willing to contribute to the forum: Plotage with twists atop that and I am always on and post an average of 350 - 450 words with active characters. I am a friendly rper, and have no problems playing with anyone from beginner to advanced. Also I...SQUIRREL!

Why you think your character would make a good leader in this pack:

~ Well to start off with Niveda has very meticulous and well balanced leading skills, having military training from her past she know's how to give out the correct orders and to whom. She a very good listener and was always wary of her squad mates back at base.

~ She's got the size to intimidate most intruders. This babe stands at 27, rather large for a female and she carries good muscle to show she's the boss. Many believe that one does not need to be big and proud to become an alpha but to her this is wrong. She expects all to respect each other within the pack.

~ Niveda is quite the thinker with a very stern yet intelligent personality. She's very determined and like her name meaning, dedicated to her pack, giving everything up for them if it comes to such terms. She not bold, but you wont even try to talk her down because this girl knows what she means when she says it, a tough childhood melds into your way of actions and how to carry them out.

What will you be willing to contribute to the forum:

Anything really. I've very good at making graphics so I'd just love to make affiliate buttons for us, as well as Ad Banners when needed. I help run a forum with over 15,000 members so I know how to handle a problem and make sure all is calm and neat.
I'm on daily, mainly in the mornings, all depending how The internet is with my friend's laptop. Oh and I have excellent people skills.

Tartarus Alpha

Erida and I simply can't decide between the three of you so we're going to force you to decide between yourselves. ^.^

A new thread should be created that will have the three potential Alphas as well as an additional Tartarus member to witness the rank claim.

We will be deciding Alpha in a different style this time. Through the more realistic approach of fighting. Everyone stands a chance to win the Alpha rank. Erida and I will judge the thread based on roleplaying abilities (this includes proper grammar, spelling and overall wholeness of the posts) and also by the types of attacks made.

The no godmodding rule is still in place. Your character can not lay a bite on another character. Character A may make a strike, but it is up to Character B if it lands or not. With that being said, your characters are not perfect or immune to everything. There must be a fair amount of attacks succeeded on you.

The judging will take place after X number of fighting posts from each character. (We will decide the number before the day ends)

Anyone may start the thread at any time now, not all potiental Alphas need to participate but you need to realize that if you do not participate, you're giving up any chance you have at Alpha for now. ^.^

Three characters fighting for a rank should prove to be more interesting than the usual two. ^.^ Your character can help another in defeating one, or make it every man (ahem, canine) for themselves. It doesn't matter how you do it, so long as it's done!

Why you think your character would make a good leader in this pack:
As alpha: She has a strong sense of character and is rather dominate. But she considers what others say and trys to do things that'll get other the least hurt or killed. She intends to protect others as much as she can and would rather lead them. Taries is also a good fighter and is very intimidating with male structure and weight.

As beta: She'd still have a feeling of leadership and would be more than happy to help an alpha she could get along with take care and lead the pack. She'd be a great fighter and always be ready to do as told.

What will you be willing to contribute to the forum: Anything really. I'm extremely new but I've been rping for oh about six years now. I know basic rules and would be willing to do anything asked. One thing though at times my grammar is not to good. Sorry. But I'm on at least two to three days a week depending on how busy I am. I work two jobs so yeah. What ever is needed I'll do my best to the best of my knowledge to do.

Why you think your character would make a good leader in this pack: Silas is good friends with the Alpha and though he's not too fond of domesticated dogs, he can be a great leader if he tried. He's lived on his own most of his life so he's a great hunter and has strategic skills on his side. He can be social if he has to and takes full responsibility for his actions.
What will you be willing to contribute to the forum: Experience in roleplaying. My time, seeing as how I can finally balance all the sites I'm on. Responsibility.

Why you think your character would make a good leader in this pack: Because he doesn't force and is very peaceful. While not dominant, he can be commanding if needed. Most of the time though, he'd probably request for a job done . He is also fair and just. Man, he's just loveable!

What will you be willing to contribute to the forum: My time. After high school, I shall be more active hopefully, which means more graphics I also want to try for the Training Mod is it? But atm, I don't have time to hold extremely important positions

You can start playing him as Alpha as of today. You are in a 2 week probationary period however to be sure you will stick around and hold up to the alpha duty of staying active After two weeks if you are still active we'll add you to the ranks, etc.
