OOC Name/Nickname: Nix
Calling: Whisper
Age: 3
Gender: Female
Species/Breed: Domestic -- Alaskan Husky
º I §ee you £ooking at me º
Pelt/Hair color and length: Her fur color is almost pure white, other than a strange light grey marking that surrounds her left eye. It's long, and fluffy, working well to keep her warm in the winter months.
Eye color: Her eyes are a blazing, almost teal-like blue.
Build: Whisper is small for an Alaskan Husky, but despite this has a leggy build for her size. She's very sleek, with a feminine build that generally provokes a protective urge in the males that she befriends. She's slightly underweight, and only her long fur prevents her ribs from being visible through her skin. Her tail and legs are long in comparison to her body, but she doesn't look awkward in her body; she has a narrow face, and big ears that sometimes give her an almost fox-like look.
Detailed Description: With her fur being an almost pure white, Whisper is often considered to have an ethreal and ghostly appearance. A light grey marking around her left eye only adds to this effect, often giving her an almost mystical appearance. Her long legs, big ears and long fluffy tail give her an almost fox-like appearance, which, when doubled with her sleek and slightly overly-slim body, give the perfect build for a runner and hunter. Fast on her feet, and light when she steps, Whisper has more than earned her nickname of Ghost.
Despite her deceptive build, Whisper has more than enough muscle packed into her lean frame to take care of herself when it comes down to it, and won't turn and run when attacked. She'd rather stay and defend herself, risking the chance of losing, than let anyone get away with attacking her.
She usually carries herself with grace, something which stems from her constant survellance of the land around her; she has grown into the habit of unconsciouslly checking that she's not about to snap a twig, and positioning her feet for an almost silent approach. Of course, like most, she slips up sometimes.
Her body language is often that of confidence, even when she's feeling anything but, and she is careful not to overstep into arrogance; she likes others to know that she is well aware of herself, and her actions, and that she is in control of her own life -- if nothing more.

History: Whisper believes herself to of been born to two other dogs living with humans, although has no concrete memory of this being the truth. She has no idea how she found herself stranded as a puppy, but would of died had she not of been found by a man. He took her back to his home, where she met his other canine worker, an almost completely black dog named Fang.
She was admittedly scared by the older puppy at first, but the two soon bonded when the man turned from kind to angered by the presence of the two puppies that he'd rescued. He'd hoped to build some form of contraption for the dogs to pull, so that he could get around easier, but when sickness struck he was unable to continue the build, and the dogs became obselete -- nothing more than two more mouths that he had not enough money to feed.
Upset by the change in attitude towards them by the man, the two dogs only remained in his home until they were a little older than one. Then, when his anger turned to frequent violence, the two of them felt that they had no choice but to escape from his home.
Caught as they were fleeing, Whisper found herself survivng only under Fang's care, as he taught both of them what to do. She grew to respect and love the older dog, and stayed with him until she was nearly three. Together they witnessed the revolution, taking neither the side of those for or against, but remaining out of harms way to the best of their ability.
Not long before her third birthday, Fang and Whisper found themselves walking along the side of a deep river whilst the heavens poured down upon them. Slipping on the rocks, Whisper found herself falling into the river, barely survivng as she pulled herself out on the other side.
Unable to find a way to cross the river and re-unite Whisper and Fang spent two long weeks on the river bank, before finally agreeing to go their own ways; promising to meet again some time in the future.
Faced by the realisation that she was alone, Whisper found herself hardening to the world around her more and more, becoming a wanderer with no-where to call her home, she simply searches the lands in hopes of once again finding Fang.
Personality: Whisper is sometimes perceived as headstrong, arrogant and rude. This is the side that she shows to people that she doesn’t know, whilst those that she cares for see a completely different side to her. She has a lot of trouble trusting people due to her unfortunate past, and she often sees only the bad in people. The only person that she has even trusted completely was Fang; still, she found it hard to trust even him at first.
Whilst she is the Queen of sarcasm and witty remarks, inwardly she’s a completely different person. Whilst she believes that she has to remain strong on the outside, and never show her weaknesses, inside she takes a lot more to heart than people believe. She is quick to doubt herself and feel that she has failed others, and often blames herself for things that aren’t her fault -- even if she doesn’t show it.
Towards those she cares about, she is nothing short of devoted. She would give her life for any of her friends, or those that she considers family, in a heartbeat -- without even thinking about herself. She has a completely selfless personality, something with gets her into trouble a lot of the time.
She would make a great mother, and seems to always know what to say to people to make them feel better -- even if she chooses not to say it most of the time. Mostly, she has the astounding talent to analyse people and select the best way possible to tick them off.
Once a friend, always a friend, is the way that Whisper thinks; her thoughts are lest friendly regarding those who would abuse her trust. Whilst her “Once a friend, always a friend” is her main motto, “Once a traitor, always a traitor” is close behind.
