AzzwraithAzz♫[/i] I Act Like This. 'I think like this'. "And I Talk Like This!!" 'And Kai Talks Like This!' 'Maybe this wasn't a good idea, Azz. Now we're hungry, lost, and god knows what else.' A little golden bird whined as she sat on the canine's back. "Well, we are not stopping now." the little pup squeaked. Though Kai was right about the hungry, lost, and she was tired. 'Maybe we shouldstop for the night... Maybe somewhere warm, full of food......' She started to go off, daydreaming as snow fell and landed loosely on her pelt. She shivered. 'Urgh. We can't survive much longer like this...' She thought a bit bitterly.
Out of the corner of her eye she saw a very cozy looking hole. Maybe it'd be warm, too. Oh boy! She scurried over to it. The sudden deep wiff told her that it was a badger hole. 'I wouldn't go into it if I were you.' Kai said. "Well I am, now be quiet!" she growled, quickl regretting it as the bird slowly disappeared. 'Suit yourself then.' she muttered as she curled up in the darkness. It was still freezing, but a whole lot warmer then outside. Her body heat, if she had any left, was keeping her warm. She closed her eyes and fell into a light slumber.

The dark cloud that had begun to hover over the tropical paradise had partly intrigued the demoness, yet mostly concerned her. What could cause such a horrible thing to happen? A thick metallic stench began to burn her nares since the morning hours. Were humans back? What else would play such a sickening joke on the canine world? Erida was going to find out regardless of the cause of such changes. She had done her own patrol tonight, which was the fist time since her pack had officially formed, a sure sign of her worry for their safety. Some may consider her a wicked bitch, however she did care about the welfare of those residing on her lands. Without them where would she be? Probably still at that bastard human's house.
She was near the end of her patrol, readying herself to climb down onto the ridge when the scent of a pup caught her attention. An aerodynamic skull shifted quickly to point her moist, rose hued nose toward the scent cropped receptors sitting alert upon her skull. It wasn't one of her own, the smell was fresh, new. It wasn't tainted with Metnal and it was of such a young age. Long, lean pillars stretched across the earth following the scent. Feminine paws silently pressed into the lush earth, the dove hued frame a ghastly splotch against the darkness.
Honey optics narrowed as the source of the smell was found. The doberman's crown tilted slightly examining the badger's den before reaching down to peer within. All that could be made out was an area slightly darker then the rest of the shadows with the slow expansion and contraction in size. Something small and breathing the fae mused to herself. A low rumble rolled up her throat as the queen cleared it. Who dared leave their pups laying around her territory unattended? Stupid dogs.

AzzwraithAzz♫
The pup peacefully still slept, savoring the few moments of relaxation. She saw a land full of green, not a white wasteland, and prey was ubundant, and plump. And oh so juicy and warm. It was something the pup had never been able to see before. She was truly dreaming, dreaing of spring.
Unaware of the dangers that lurked right in front of her. Completely oblivious.
She pranced around, enjoying the feel of the stocky greenish stuff rubbing on the bottom of her paws. The smells, it smelled sweet. A sweet she couldn't really name. Then, she saw a winged thing, and stalked after it, slowly. But, the colorful winged thing lost her attention and she turned it too a bunch of trees all assembled in big mass.
'Hey! Azz! Wake up!!' Kai chirped silently in her ear. Currently, she was invisible to all eyes, even Azz's.
The pup was slowly blinking in and out of her precious dreamland and reality.
'Azz! Please!' the golden bird whined again, desprately trying to get her to wake up. Who knows what this fae would do to Azz. She had to get her to wake up. Maybe there was a back way out or something.
Azz blinked an eye open, to, sort of, see a pair of glinting hony eyes staring down at her. How scary! Except, Azz was only angry that this beast had come to awaken her feom her slumber.
And what was that noise? Was it? Was it growling at her??
"Don't growl at me!" The pup probably could sound menacing despite the fact that she hada squeaky pup voice. "And what are you doing in here! Can't you see that I was asleep?!" She was going to let her anger fly out. Sheshould've gotten a smack for what she said to the other beast towering above her.
One of the reasons the pup was being so brave right now was because the beast didn't look as tall as it probably was. [/blockquote] Words :: 349 Muse :: Getting loer with every post. But satisfactory. Puppet :: Azzwraith.

It wasn't too long that the queen stood watching the small bundle of fur before the pup's eyes slowly flickered open. She watched as the shades opened ever so slightly only to close again as sleep attempted to hold tightly onto her small body. The high pitched words lashed violently at the doberman's erect ears, yet they simply shivered in annoyance rather then falling back against her skull as most would. A demonic smirk snaked across her narrow maw as she took in the angered words of the youngster. Lips lifted just slightly offering a flash of ivory against the darkness as amusement engulfed the demoness. What a bundle of attitude this young one was, and to think she couldn't be any more then 8...9 weeks old.
An oddly sweet voice chimed in response to the angered retaliation to her throat clearing, "Well, love, I could ask you the same thing. What are you doing here?" A delighted gleam danced across optics as they shifted to view the area around the badger den. Part of her expected the whelp's mother to come barreling down in an ill attempt to save her offspring. Yet there was no sound of approaching paw falls. A single step was then taken, devouring the distance and bringing her much closer to the young dog. The lyrics now slithered through deadly fangs in a mere whisper, a devilish smirk still upon her features, "You know, you're rather lucky that I am the one who found you. My minions have the order to kill any trespassers without questions. And you, love, are just that."
Erida quite enjoyed the spice of this young one's attitude and that was the only thing sparing her life at this moment. She could possibly prove useful with some additional molding into Metnal material. Her rose hued nose prodded the toddler's hide quarters attempting to get her to move out of the den and to come along with her. Honestly, there was no choice in the matter at this point the pup was hers whether she came along willingly or the demoness had to latch onto her neck and drag her along.

"I asked you first." The pup stated as she was suddenly pushed out. The pup didn't even know where she was taking her, but did give in. She could only think that this, now seeming to be a fae, dog was going to take her in.
'Azz, I wouldn't just follow her' Kai stated. "Why not? At least she could have shelter." The pup threw at the tiny bird that seemed to not be there again. Whenever she was scared, she was gone. Vanished, but still hearable by only her ears.
"Where are you taking me." It wasn't a question, only a statement that requested an answer. When she stepped out, she noticeda change. It smelled bad. The air stung her nose and made her want to cough. What happened? Was it those bastardly humans again? Hopefully not, her mother told her stories on how they had fled. Sll she could d was close her eyes to keep tem from stinging as bad and hopeshe could feel her way back. Or the other fae. Whichever one would be nice.

A melodic giggle shimmied it's way from her larynx chiming into the atmosphere in response to the youngster's harsh response. This was all quite amusing to the fae, most adults lacked the ability to stand up for themselves and for one so young it was impressive. Through the demonic smile she offered a reply, words candy coated as usual, "I suppose you did ask first. You see, love, these here are my lands and I am doing my duty by patrolling them. It seems that your mother wasn't wise enough to drop you off else where, aye?"
Both tanned brows rose as the pup began seemingly talking to herself. A new pleasure found itself along the doberman's features. She had a special place in her heart for those that would be labeled as crazy else where. In her experience they have proved to be some of the most valuable within her ranks. Often they were much more easy to manipulate, and in the long term much more dangerous then the normal canine. The unpredictability of them was enough to send others running for cover. Just how Erida liked it.
It hadn't taken long for the young pup to make her way from the hole and soon be gagging on the filthy air. The ash hung heavily about the pair, clouding even the darkest of night skies. Seemingly flawless ivories were soon exposed grasping onto the young pup's neck and lifting her through the atmosphere. The queen preferred her alive, but if too much struggle was offered she could easily just pierce the neck of her baggage and be done with it. Luckily for this one she was thinking ahead tonight as was typical. A low growl rolled through either corner of her mouth and around the pup, "I'll take you to the dens, within the air is still clean." Without another word, not caring for approval long limbs stretched over the earth quickly devouring the distance down the mountainside.

She didn't mind the fae picking her up. It actually took the stress away from her having to walk, to her picking her up. It was nice, to see the.. Grey sky.
'Since when is the sky grey?' Kai asked, bouncing along next to her. Azz looked up at the sky. She was right, it was pretty grey. And dreary. Grey and dreary. It made her feel sort of sad.
"I don't know, Kai." She replied, turning her attention to the fae, now. "What's your name?" She asked, the cold tone to her voice back. No matter. "Mine's Azz." she said, meaning to not use her full name because she still didn't know who this random fae was, picking her up and saying something about takin her to a den. Who's den? Was the fae going to eat her? Probably not.
She also said something about this being her lands. She might've belonged to a pack. But then she would've said her pack's land. Maybe she was in commend of them all? She had so many questions, and right now, she wan't in the mood to answer them. Not now any ways.

The dove hued form slipped over the crest of the ridge winding it's way down the side of the mountain's face. It was lucky that she had known these lands so well as optics were of no use with the thick air. Dainty paws found a path weaving through jagged boulders and landing just right to keep her descendance silent. The discussion between the pup and her imaginary friend did indeed interest the queen yet it was let go only for now as a new question was asked. Before an answer could be compiled the youngster offered her own calling. Azz? What a lovely name. I am known as Erida." It was left at that. She never felt the need to place her status next to her name for those she just met. Truth be known most have heard of her before and would figure it out quite well on their own. If this pup's parents were wise and informed her of the demoness she would know as well, if not she surely would find out sooner or later.
The slight scent of pine was lying under the ashen atmosphere telling the doberman that the dens were very close. There she would press the pup a bit more, yet with her strangely delicate ways. "Azz, who is your friend you are speaking with? Kai I believed you said her name was?" It seemed a safe assumption that the friend of hers was female from the name, hopefully she wasn't wrong. A sweet sincerity had filled her tone as she questioned the imaginary bird, a true interest within the pup's mind. Just as her questioning ended muscles coiled and sprang sending the pair soaring to the air, landing right before the dens with a barely audible thump. Through the caves entrance she strolled.
Even the darkness within the cave seemed much lighter then the smog filled skies outside. Several canines were gathered within the safety of the dens, most paying close attention to Erida and the cargo as they passed. They most likely wondered what and why she was carrying along with her. At the very back there was an offshoot from the main cave bringing the pair into a large opening. Azz was gently placed on the granite floor. "Welcome home," she said with a crooked smirk.

The german shepherd, siberian husky mix dangled loosely from the doberman's jaws as she and her carried on a conversation. "I've never heard of an Erida" she said, searching her own thoughts for that sort of name. It seemed like an ok name.
Then a new question was asked. One that she did not like at all. Who was Kai. At the mention of the bird she stiffened. "Oh, Kai? She's no one." Almost giggling as her stomache dropped when the fae leaped across some creavice that she couldn't see. She must really know this place, or the two might already be counted as dead.
"Welcome Home" The fae said, now known as Erida, before putting her down. It seemed comfy, and warm. And hopefully not stuffy and smokey. If it was, then this pup could die of coughing, if that was possible.
She sat down, and looked around. It just looked like a bunch of hollowed out rocks. Were there dogs in them? She could've sworn she saw a few eyes glaring back at her. It was sort of scary.

Today had been very, very boring. Kiyokos pelt was a light gray colour compared to her normal glistening white. She had tried numerous times to go outside and play like she normally did, but each time she returned with a coughing fit back into the dark lairs of the caves. She had wondered where the pups were at, but it was quickly dismissed the moment she found a stick, forgotten in the rear of the caves. Now, she waved it wildly in the air, tossing it a few times. She had tried to catch it but failed miserably each time. Then she resorted to barking wildly at it, nipping then jumping away as if it were a Rattlesnake. She got many blank or angry stares from the rest of the canines trying to hide from the deadly fog outside, but she paid no heed... didn't even recognize the looks as anything but friendly.
After, literally, hours of playing with the wooden object, Kiyoko grew tired of it, finally falling with a huff to her side on the granite floor. Her eyes looked at each canine expectantly, as if she knew they would get up and come play with her now. When one of them did look in her direction, she flipped herself uprite. Her banner thudding against the ground so hard that you must have assumed it hurt. With her tongue lolling out, she rose her heavy form and started making her way towards the older Shepherd mix in a very submissive fashion, tail still waving wildly.
That's when all eyes focused on something else, their leader and... food? Kiyoko let out a shrill yap that bounced off the cave walls before she started running towards Erida. Just before she ran into the Queen, Kiyokos rump hit the ground and she skidded to a stop. Here eyes were entirely focused on the Queen, not even noticing the young pup just yet. Panting heavily, after a few seconds, she finally looked down and gasped. "Oh my, oh my! You brought me a playmate! Whereee did you find it, best friend?!" Before waiting for an answer, Kiyokos nose dove down onto the pup, smelling her deeply. Each time Kiyoko changed positions, her large head pushed the pup back and forth, causing her to stumble to the opposite side.

It had become obvious that the youngster had known others were unaware of Kai, her apparently imaginary friend, by the tightening of her muscles. The issue wouldn't be pressed though Erida was sure to leave the pup aware that she was casually interested, "that's really too bad, Azz. I thought you were bringing another friend along." The topic was let alone for now. It was more important to reach the safety of the dens for the health of them both.
It wasn't much of a surprise as the loud thudding paw falls began to echo across the cave system. The doberman had expected the large Pyrenees to come bound as soon as she was aware that the queen had arrived home. Many wondered why Erida put up with the overgrown puppy, why she even allowed Kiyoko to survive within the confines of their lands. Truth be known even Erida was unsure, but her gut instinct told her to keep the young one within her ranks. Following that sixth sense is what tied her life together. She had depended on it nearly as much as she depended on her intelligence and manipulative nature. Her gut told us that Kiyoko would be valuable at some point and for this reason she was welcomed here upon Metnal territory.
That wicked smile grew upon the bitch's features once more as Kiyoko's words began to flood the air, and her broad snout poked and prodded the much younger pup. "Yes, Kiyoko, a new friend. Please be gentle." She knew the exuberance the big white pup used and hoped to keep the younger alive at least until she grew to see where her mind and heart would lay. She simply lowered herself back onto her haunches watching the young pair before honey eyes began to narrow and a sudden glare was shot toward the entrance of her den. A low growl rumbled within her chest before the glare found it's way upon the Pyrenees, "Where are the other pups?" Would the members be stupid enough to have left them wandering outside?

Azz backed away from the large thing. 'That can't honestly be a pup' Kai commented as she suddenly appeared. "Boy. I haven't been relived to see you again, Kai." She said, though still glaring at the wierd pup. It was huge and white.
"And please, do not nose me." She stated, backing away from the large nose. 'A playmate?' Kai asked, as the pup opened her mouth to release the exact words just as the kiwi had said them. "Be your playmate?" This pup had some problems.
"No." This fog was making it harder to breathe. Though, instead of requesting anything, she had her point made by a mini coughing fit.

Kiyokos attention was totally focused on the new young puppy now, deep wanting emotion clearly radiating from her eyes. Her face seemed to slump forward, the skin almost looking as if it were going to fall off, as she looked down upon the small creature, a soft pant forcing the huge pink tongue to stick out somewhat. She hardly heard Erida speak to her, telling her to be careful. Kiyoko was anything but careful. She had no knowledge of her own strength whatsoever, the Queen was right to warn her.
The wants finally overcame her after only a few seconds of consideration. She slammed down on her elbows, her rear raising in the air in the typical playful fashion. A large fluffy banner was flying around so fast it was hard to see. When the young pup spoke, Kiyoko burst out into a frantic giggle, rolling to her side. One large paw reached out, touching the pup on the nose roughly as she spoke. "I don't knows you yet! Silly puppy!" Her long pink tongue lolled out from the side of her maw and lay on the dirty floor below. Kiyoko seemed less than bothered that a random array of hair and dirt now clung tightly to the muscle. When the puppy claimed that she did not want to be Kiyokos playmate, it seemed as if Kiyoko completely ignored it, or didn't hear it at all. One flaw of the large white Pyrenees was just that. She didn't see, hear or remember anything she didn't want to. Even small details like this were in no way locked in her memory. Although she didn't black out in simple situations like this, the effect was still the same. She stared at the young pup for a bit longer, laying on her side until Erida mentioned her own puppies.
The Pyrenees rolled back over to her stomach with great effort, considering her size. Her lip was caught in between her loosely clenched teeth and her skull tilted slightly. Her eyes shot up towards the ceiling of the cave, as if she was trying to study her own mind to bring about the last memories she had with them. When she finally found them, which took two moments too long, a gleeful smile returned to her maw, her eyes were nearly all the way closed from the simple pleasure of the memory. "We were playing pack! ChanChan was the Alpha and Ondrea was the Beta I think and I don't remember what Thorn was, but that's okay because he doesn't talk much anyway and you'll never guess what I was!" Kiyoko quickly rose to her feet from the excitement of the memory, her front paws dancing around. "I bet you won't guess! Nope, not ever. Wanna guess? Oh, okay. I was the Den Mother, how exciting!" As she finished, her rump slammed onto the ground, her front paws together and close to her body, displaying a rather proud pose. She didn't even realize she hadn't answered Eridas question at all.

Eyes narrowed slightly as the fawn doberman simply sat watching the events unfolding before her. The newest pup was watched most closely as Erida had seemingly already knew the Pyrenees inside and out. The agitation and slight fear of the larger white youngster pulled the fae's lips ever so slightly. Kiyoko was impressive in size already, the queen couldn't wait to see her full grown. Yet some how she'd have to break through that oblivious life she seemed to lead. Certainly in due time the Metnal dogs would get to her.
The recollection offered by the young den mother's apprentice pulled all of Erida's attention. Brows stitched together in thought as the roles the youngest members of the pack were playing were announced one by one. A feminine crown shifted off balance as she rose to her full height once more. Long pillars drew her body closer to the pair of pups, her gaze locked upon Kiyoko's joyous face. "And where were you playing pack?" The question seemed truly asked for the sake of interest, yet the expression upon her features told a different tale.
Erida had recently tested her offspring to see which would be worthy of time and resources. It was nearly a split decision in regards to the pups, half seemed as if they'd easily fall into the ways of the pack, while others she was not quite sure about. Since forcing them to murder their youngest sister two of the females seemed distraught. It seemed odd to the queen that it happened to be the same two that decided to play the Alpha and Beta roles of their pack game. A low growl began to roll around within her chest, barely audible to those on the outside of her frame. Although frustrations were building at the situation her canvas stayed calm, every muscle within her body relaxed.
The loss of the pups would not be a huge loss to her, but where were the others? Were they gone as well? Chantal and Ondrea were those she could easily do without. They simply didn't seem to have what it takes. But they still belonged to her, to do with as she pleased. Her plans for squaring off her children in battle to pick the strongest were now being toyed with. Honey irises shifted toward the mixed breed pup sitting there in the den with them, a single brow raising toward her. At least she had one of value compared to those that weren't good for much other then punching bags if they did manage to escape as had been rolling through their thoughts.

"You obviously don't understand." She was tempted to actually call her a beast when she slammed down on her elbows just in front of her. "I won't play wih you because you're too big." And careless, and friendly, and annoying, and. You getthe point. She was just too large in almost every way for the tiny lttle pup. Andshe shivered disgustingly as the pup let her tounge get all dirty and such. It probably tasted horrible.
'Don't be so mean, Azz! Can't you see she's trying to be your friend?' Kai scolded her, but the shepup seemed uneffected. Instead, anger was surging up as it seemed the white large best completely ignored her. No one ignores me! She growled inside her head. She would've said a thousand million things to the pup, but instead, just held her tounge for the moment. If it were to happen again, she wouldn't hold it for long.
Instead, she turned her attention to Kai. She was being so annoying and bossy! "Just shut up Kai! I don't want to talk to you now, and I dn't want to talk to you ever!" And with that, the shepu stormed off t another, more concealed, corner of the cave. Since going outside would mean she'd have another coughing fit, being in this corner was enough for now. She sat down and started pouting.
