The entire situation had escalated so quickly, much faster than Chantal had expected. It began with the three females closing in, taunting the youngest sibling with low, slinking postures. The fear was easily tasted in the atmosphere urging the hungry whelps to push on toward their weak sister. Then in an instant the game had changed to a full out hunt with Thorn leaping onto the little female, quickly followed by her other brother, Nebulous. All at once there was a snarling pile of black, tan, and red pelts, ivory fangs flashing against the dark backdrop. The high pitched squeals of agony ripped mercilessly at receptors forcing them to flatten against the little fae's skull.
Chantal's dark frame took a step away unlike the rest of her siblings, a single side of her still stout maw lifted in disgust. The wrinkles along the bridge of her snout were mimicked across her forehead, brows diving deep between gold flecked optics. Haunches pushed back into the earth finding a comfortable front row seat to watch the horrific act before her. Yet the fact that a murder was occurring only feet from her resting place, of her sister nonetheless, did not seem to bother her. The repulsion forming upon the sleek canvas was toward the idea that she should be involved in this. This princess did NOT want to get her paws dirtied with the little rat's blood. She was much further above such acts, and was certain to claim the position of royalty at any given chance.
As shades pulled over earth toned hues, the splatter of something warm and moist pelted the right side of her cheek. Eyes flew open, a single dainty paw lifting to allow the side to scrape gently across the filth that dared touch her most perfect silken coat. The extremity was drawn away, the princess' expression transforming into that of horror as her gaze met the paw dampened with crimson fluid. A pink muscle found it's way over the stain, moistening her ebony pads to act like a wash cloth. Cats weren't the only ones who liked to be clean after all. Mid-wash a dark shadow seemed to hover over the mixed breed whelp. Slowly the attention transferred from removing the grotesque splatter to the towering form of their mother. Canvas still twisted from the terrible experience of becoming dirty, and cleaning paw still hovering over the earth gaze locked onto the queen's. The question asked of the young was an easy one to answer for some, obviously not so much for others. Chantal's shoulders rose and fell in a canid shrug, brows now elevating in a nonchalant fashion, "It was disturbing, mother. These savages actually got that rat's blood on me!" What would the demoness think of this one...not willing to help yet no remorse. There was only room for one puppet master in this pack surely.

Grinning, the pup actually found out that he liked bloodshed, of course, he had found that through family lines. He was sure that they'd be doing it again soon. Chantal, naturally was okay with it, but not okay with the blood on her face. Thorn's chestnut-black optics of light cast it's gaze upon the princess. An attempt to maybe cheer her up, the pup walked over, with it's small yet stubby legs. Staring at his sibling playfully, he extended his head, and attempted to lick some of the red liquid off.
Blood tasted good in his maw, oh yes, Thorn liked the crimson liquid that was crucial to life. A tail batted around playfully, thumping the ground constantly. It was obvious that the male liked to kill, a piece of his victim's stomach dropped on the ground in front of him. The sun warmed his pelt, as Thorn reached out to lick the princess. Chantal's reaction, unknown, but it was going to be annoyed for sure.
OCC:Rambly, I know, but at least it's enough. I think ._.
